The thai peppers that it came with were not very spicy at all. The meat was also a little challenging to get off the bones for some reason. Whenever I'm on the east side of Detroit I make sure to accommodate my schedule around stopping by legends grill. I don't know what it is, but their burgers are amazing. It doesn't hurt that if you eat their 20oz Legendary Pounder they take your picture and post it up on their Legendary Wall. Where I already have a few up there my self (don't judge me). It's just so good that I can't stop eating. Legends is spot on clean. They have that old school 50's feel, but don't be fooled. This is one high tech place, with sliding doors, and motion sensor bathrooms. My favorite is Miss Age, the owner/Host. Which is why the last time I ate my Legendary 20oz Pounder I asked her to take my picture with me. A great place stop if you are ever in the area. read more

You're not going to find anything better or cleaner on East Jefferson to eat! It's a fifty style diner theme open for breakfast and lunch. Their French toast is hands down my favorite breakfast sprinkled with some cinnamon and powder sugar. The salads are huge and you can definitely share or just take home for later. My favorite lunch item would have to be the Philly cheese steak roll up or Yaya wrap! Did I mention the homemade soups made fresh daily? Chicken lemon rice always hits the spot and occasionally they have cream of broccoli and tomato basil with grilled cheese keeps you warm on a cold day! Also, the wait service was awesome. I got my coffee and water filled a bunch and everyone was extremely pleasant. It's a neighborhood spot that everyone respects and the vibe was appreciated. It's on Conant street, which is one of my favorite spots in the city. It's a nice little hub of activity that I feel gets overlooked, with lots of restaurants lining the street.
