Completely forgot to review Legends Corner and what a shame that is. This is such a fun little bar with live music and great drinks. Many well known country artists have graced the stage at Legends Corner including Toby Keith, Eric church, Darius Rucker, Kid Rock, Luke Bryan and others. There were not many people here as they just reopened due to Covid but that was perfectly fine with us, we were rewarded with personal treatment by Buck McCoy for my birthday which made it even more fun! Our group of 10 had a great time at Legends February 29-March 3rd. The staff took very good care of us. The service they provided us was perfect. They do not have food that we could see, so they let us bring in our own. We went on 4 different occasions and every time the bands put on a great show. WOW!!! I can say this was the most welcoming bar because of Tara! We walked in just as tourist & after conversing with her we felt like home! Invited people on the street in here for a shot & Tara had the best conversations & said the nicest things to say about the bar being here for quite some time, & in the midst of it all next thing you know we're here for 2 hours drinking the whole time! I give all the credit to the bartender for keeping us entertained & laughing the entire time from her welcoming personality! Out of all the bars it truly made our trip interacting with her!!! With so many spots to choose from in Nashville, especially on Music Row, it's hard to say which ones are the best of the bunch. It really depends on the band that's playing, and the crowd in the joint. Legends stuck out because it was thoroughly entertaining in the middle of the afternoon and we were still recovering from the previous night out on Music Row. We were able to grab a table and a few chairs in the back, and stayed for a few hours. The decor is a bunch of old album covers on the walls and other memorabilia. We got there during the last couple songs of a band playing, so we had to wait for the next band to set up. This next band had a lead, who was an entertainer. Good musician, but also told stories/jokes between songs and really engaged the crowd. The band was good, the music was fun, and the beers were cold. We had a great time! Though it's pretty hard not to have a great time in Nashville. read more

I was there with some buddies. My buddy tabbed out and covered the tip. I stayed for two more drinks and didn't tip on them because it was already covered. The long brown haired bar chick chastised me for "not tipping" and then had security escort me out because of it. She had already been tipped. I was literally sitting there minding my own business. read more

A patron came up to the bar where I was sitting there was plenty of room. He purposefully rubbed his privates against my knees. My knees were to the side as I was watching the band. He denied it walked away and when I turned around a few minutes later he was laughing and pointing to me while talking with his friend. I remarked it is not funny to assault someone. The bouncer came over to me and said I would have to leave. I told him what happened and he said he didn't care. We had been there over an hour consumed one beer and he forcibly took the new beer which had just been paid for at the outrageous prices they charge and made me leave. I took his picture and will be posting it on social media so that women can be warned that this establishment does not protect women and victimized the victim. He also threatened legal action to f I posted his actions. There is so much to do in Nashville skip this place it's not worth the disrespect. read more

What else can I say about these outstanding Nashville bars that I haven't said already?We were nearing the end of our first day in Nashville and we were still thirsty, although our alcohol tolerance was waning. Great drinks. More local beers, and great music. At this point I was a big fan of Nashville bars, and we still had a few days to go. Most of the bars were uncrowded during the day. I recently walked to Legends Corner after the Elton John concert at Bridgestone. It was about 11pm on a Saturday and the streets were full, so we ducked inside. A band was playing, and they were really good, but my ears were still sensitive from the concert, so we got a drink and sat on the patio to people watch as they went by us. Although we were the only two outside most of the time, a waitress still came out to check on us. We could still hear the band and we even clogged to Rocky Top. There is absolutely NO WAY that my feet will be still when I hear it. The most interesting thing that we saw all night was when we sat on the patio on Legends. A woman, walking all by herself, was very intoxicated and holding a $20 bill in her hand, very visibly. She walked down the alley next to Legends, and a man kept eyeballing her, clearly ready to take her money, and who knows what. It was a gut feeling I had, I guess. I called her to come over to the patio railing and started a conversation. She explained that she'd been with friends, but she'd gotten too drunk to get into the next bar. Bouncers said no, and her friends went in and left her to fend for herself. The man that was stalking her had turned and went in the opposite direction. My husband and I told her about the man following her and told her she needed to put her money away, and try to walk closer to a group of people. Although she was highly intoxicated, she was cognizant enough to realize what we were saying. Women, don't walk the streets of Nashville at night by yourself. It's not smart or safe. read more

Stopped in here as I was touring Broadway and taking in the sights. They had live music in the window and I thought I would give this place a try. Place is dark and smells like a bar upon walking in. The band playing wasn't too loud, but plenty loud enough that they could easily be heard in the back area of the bar. One of my buddies flagged down the bartender and ordered a few drinks. I am not sure what my friends got, but I got a 7-up and strawberry vodka. It was not very good. Very likely it was cheap liquor that was used, although the small drink was $9.00 on a Wednesday night. To be honest, I don't really care much for the taste of alcohol, so I'm a poor judge of what a good alcoholic drink should taste like. I have had alcoholic drinks that I like, so it is possible, but this one wasn't it. Even my buddy said he didn't think it was that good and cited the cheap liquor used in it. The bar has a floor section closer to the band and a back section with a few steps to a raised area. We sat there and the band sounded great from there. The bar's back area is like a museum of sorts, with an older jukebox encased in glass. I know jukeboxes are terribly common, but it was like being in Back to the Future Part II and Marty looking at every day 90's gear like it is a museum item. We left after the single drink. We were probably there 20 minutes. It is a quaint place. Probably worth stopping in at least once to check it out. Not really a place I would hang out for long periods and continue to drink, but it would be nice if you were short on time and wanted quick entertainment. read more

Another superior spot on Broadway, Legends Corner is a little louder but a little deeper. I loved that we found a table on the "mezzanine" where we could see over the folks on the ground level but the music was still clear. There's a bouncer at the door checking ID, ensuring that you are 21. Friday & Saturday nights are the most popular and it's wall to wall inside. ....just like walking on the street. Seems like the music is pop rock as all the 21 year old girls in the audience know the words and sing along with the band. The norm is no cover, and beets are about $5. Male sure you tip the band when they pass their Buckley around! Always a fun time, and you might actually hear some good music. read more

So if you've ever been to Nashville then you already know all about the main strip (Broadway) and the roughly four blocks of bars and honky-tonks all jammed in next to one another and then the side streets with other venues and bars. Legends Corner is one of the many. To be honest, these places tend to blend together after a while. You have the modern celebrity owned mega bars like Ole Red (Blake Shelton), Jason Aldean's place, Luke Bryan's, etc. and then you have the older and more divey sort of places. Legends falls into this latter category. We love coming to Legends because typically (or at least every time we've been there) the bands are really, really good. There are no "bad" bands playing on Broadway, but some have a larger catalog of songs and some have more musical experience and perhaps raw talent. Not everyone is a country music fan and even among country music fans some people only like the new style pop-country. You'll here that sort of music everywhere up and down the street, but if you also want to hear a mix of old-school country and maybe even a fiddle, Legends usually has that at some point. The bottom line: we love music and Legends has never disappointed us. read more

First bar I have ever felt like they didn't want me there. Manager accused me of puking on their floor by poking me in the shoulder blade and saying "he did it" which must have been refuted because no one asked me to leave. Then less than 20 minutes later same person poked me hard In the back and said "he can move" rather than simply asking me to step aside so her freind could order a drink. I get I'm a big dude, but you can just ask me to scoot over. The bartender than suggested we leave even though we had been tipping what I thought was very well, but I understand that may have been a difficult position for her to be in, This is downtown Nashville, they'll do just fine without an out of town tourist and his wife, but this was the worst experience I've ver had at a bar, and with the amount of options here I will simply suggest that people avoid here and go elsewhere. read more

Legends is a fun bar with great music. My review is for the bartenders. My sister bought a round of drinks and paid with a credit card. She did not include a tip with the intent to put cash in the tip jar. When the two female bartenders saw there was no tip marked on the receipt, they immediately started giving her the evil eye and flipping her the bird. One made a gesture to my sister that a learning impaired person would do. When I saw this happening, I approached the bartender and asked her what the problem was. She started telling me they are not a "one way street", whatever that means. When I asked her what she meant, she got beligerent with me too and ended up flipping me the bird too. While I was talking to this creep my sister put her tip in the jar. When we drank our shot, we decided to leave. The bartender screamed "bye!" as we walked out and again gave us the finger. Someone needs to tell these entitled little brats that they are not guaranteed a tip. And flipping off a patron and insulting their intelligence is certainly not a way to get one. In any professional setting, both would lose their jobs. But these girls are not professionals. More trashy bar wenches in need of a spanking. Reading these reviews, this isn't the first time ppl have had trouble with rude bartenders at Legends. Legends must be ok with this. I am not. read more

Love the bar. We came here all 3 nights during our stay in Nashville and had a great time. On the third night the live music (Jared) was awful. We provided a tip and instead of saying thank you he asked for money. When we said no because he didn't play the song requested he got on the mic to say we needed to be "wifed up". So this is what they call a "honky tonk." We caught the tail end of the set of what I can only assume is the Nashville's equivalent of a boy band (the man on bass had one of the most impressive beards I've ever seen). And they were not half bad. We witnessed a pint-sized girl pour a full beer on, spit on, and then slap a very large gentleman who was exhibiting remarkable restraint. We made friends with some nice ladies, and then ran away from their massive cowboy man friends. We had many drinks for not that many monies. And it was good. read more
