Burger, still hot and well packaged for to go
    Jordan F.

We ordered the Wednesday banana split special and the hamburger. Our family consistently loved the quality and flavor of the banana split, and with the 5$ special it's an unbeatable deal! The burger is average. Service is friendly and fast, staff is always happy to answer any questions which is very nice. Ambiance is extremely vintage American diner vibe, calling back to big cars and old California. Not quite my style, but definitely has an appeal. Good for friends or families!

Chili dog! Chili cheese fries and a grilled cheese!

Customer service was excellent! Alondra was so helpful and Judy The food was so fresh and there was a big amount. Definitely takes you back in time and the vibe was classic! Thank you legends burgers! Employees are very kind! We will be back for Milkshake Mondays!!

I have known of Legends since pre-Covid times. I only know 3 of their locations... 1 in Rancho Cucamonga, 1 in Glendora, and 1 in Upland. I was craving for their Chef salad so I came to this Legends in Upland as I was in the neighborhood. Their Chef salad has always been my favorite because they put lots of turkey and ham strips plus the abundance of salad base. They also have avocados and red onions in it. Just fill with healthy goodness. I went thru the drive-thru. Their menu is quite massive. A nice gentleman took my order. There was only one car in front of me so the wait wasn't too long. OMG... the Chef salad was heavy in weight... it's a very good sign... it has depth of ingredients. It also comes with a pita bread and your choice of salad dressing. I normally go for ranch dressing, but got light Italian dressing instead. I also got a cup of ice water. Salad was good, but the ham was a bit salty. It didn't used to be like that. Turkey was fine. I wished there was more avocados though. Italian dressing was on point. Water was good, too. Hey, I'm particular about my water. I have drank some bad water from other places where I literally could taste the pipes LOL. Thank you for having good water Legends! You may want to check on that ham though.

Big Banana Split a Meal in itself

Well I have already reviewed Legends in Upland Ca. This is just another post to basically add some pictures of my recent visit there. Hope you Love the Pictures. Love what you see, give this Legends in Upland a try. If you're a Bottomless pit of an eater, like I am, you will Love this Place. Big Portions. Yes, it is on the Pricy side, but then we live in Ca where the Price of everything is continuing to go up. At least here you are getting your Money's worth. Enjoy.

Paid 9.99, then I saw this walking out.

Paid 9.99 for a DCB. Then I saw this walking out. I guess one have to ask about this deal..? Not sure.

Finally a childhood restaurant is bringing back the basics!! I know locations experienced a shift in new management last year. The fries were different, ranch wasn't homemade anymore, items were removed, ingredients were changed. Good news they finally are going back to normal! Homemade ranch here is the best!! Always get the sampler to share! Steak sandwich is a classic and they finally added the mushrooms/onions back on! The chicken salad is huge and shareable! Fish sandwich is bomb.com! We love a turkey club! I highly highly recommend coming!! A little pricey but everything is shareable!!

    50's diner style.

It's just not good anymore! The chicken tenders taste freezer burned. It's cute inside but smells strongly of cleaners.

(Important Note: MOOYAH Burgers [Upland] uses a gimmick to get Yelp reviews. They offer free potato chips for Yelp reviews; be wary of positive reviews. I will upload a photo of this gimmick.) I arrived at MOOYAH Burgers (Upland) on Sunday (around 10AM). Parking is very easy. The lot is big. Although I arrived at opening hours, MOOYAH Burgers only unlocked their doors around 10:10AM. Staff is professional and pleasant. Staff worked hard, and the location felt understaffed. I was the first customer that day, and my food took 11 minutes and two seconds. Fairly slow for a cheeseburger. As mentioned, I ordered the MDC ($10.99). It arrived picturesque. Unfortunately, its appearance was tastier than its ingredients. The buns were toasted and extremely buttery, but they easily flatten like cheap, thrift store hotdog buns. There's no bounce. Then, its meat patties tasted bitter and dry. The best part of this burger was the gooey, well-melted American cheese which desperately tried to distract from all its shortcomings. Regarding ambiance, MOOYAH Burgers (Upland) felt clean and comfortable. The tables are well wiped, and the floors are swept. There's also a restroom in the back. The decor felt sleek and modern. Overall, I had a disappointing experience at MOOYAH Burgers (Upland). The location is not horrible, but it's also not great. At the very least, the burgers make a pretty photo. 3.4 out of 5

The blue cheese burger I wished were a bit stronger in blue cheese flavor (as a person who loves lots of blue cheese), but the burger was definitely filling for both the eyes and the tummy. The only thing I wished is that the burger didn't feel as heavy/greasy, but if that were the case, I probably wouldn't have chosen a burger. That said, the grease did feel like it took away from the flavors, making the burger tasting milder than I had wanted. That said, it was very enjoyable overall. The dog menu was surprisingly different from what I've seen. It was surprisingly healthy looking with the amount of vegetables they added to my dog's bowl including some Brussels sprouts. There was no rice at all, which was fine for me since my dog doesn't really like rice. Unfortunately, he is so picky, so he picked out the chicken from the vegetables even with me pre-mixing it, and I think the vegetables are too firm to his liking. However, I appreciate the food being healthy and the portions, even if he himself will not really eat most of it. I'm sure some other dog will do a lot better with the bowl!

Or you abandon all hope of civility and propriety, and just make a pool of chili and cheese and try to contain it in a burger somehow. This last type you definitely want to eat with a knife and fork. What you don't want is somewhere in between--too much chili and cheese to pick up the burger, but not quite enough left over to make you consider a knife and fork. I think that's the problem with the Hitch's version. It was very hard to eat because the chili would look some onto the wrapper but it was still portable enough to never eating it as a meal. The taste was good and I could see why people like it. But I felt kind of unfulfilled after eating it. The onion rings were good but they put so many compared to the burger, at an almost 2:1 ratio. If they had made the burger a bit bigger it wouldn't have seemed that they were skimping out on the main attraction. The service was okay. I didn't feel unwelcome. It just didn't feel like anyone was super helpful--no recommendations, no one checking how I liked everything, and not much banter when ordering. It felt very clinical. The space was nice though. And I was able to read a lot so that was great. I wish it was closer for that reason if nothing else. But since it's not I'm not sure when I'll be back.
