Please motivate me enough to kick me out of bed or off the sofa! Otherwise, I find it hard to heave-ho myself on to a treadmill. Torture. Can't. Won't. I need someone to tell me what to do (because I'm a lazy lug otherwise. Is three reps enough?) and make sure I do it properly. Better still if they can tell a joke or two while I'm sweating. But I'm also cheap. I have to strike a reasonable balance between needing motivation and needing to conserve cash-ola. That's why I like this place. Chris has done a great job of training me and my partner without killing our wallet. He's able to train us at the same time, adjusting exercises for my high cardio fitness and my partner's arthritic ankle, my knee injury and his upper body strength. We get a fast, hard workout that makes me feel strong, and improves my fitness. The location is great for us. Parking is easy. And Chris is a bright, fun, entertaining trainer who knows his stuff.

Before jumping into the classes, they set you up for success with 1 on 1 training for a few weeks teaching you the basic fundamentals of CrossFit. Even though I am kinda half assing my way through CrossFit as we speak - they have my back. The coaches tailor my workouts to the place I'm at and comfortable with. Still pushing me to be better. And speaking of better - I already feel better. I feel stronger, healthier, happier. They also overcharged me for personal training sessions I couldn't attend, and sold us a boxing membership only to get rid of the boxing coach almost immediately. When I asked to cancel, they still kept billing. Every time I talked to management I was told it would be handled, notes would be added, and corporate would follow up. None of that ever happened. Operations manager Tony Avila told me multiple times he would take care of it, but that did not happen. Honestly not sure what "operations manager" means here because nothing was managed and none of the problems were fixed. To make it worse, I later found out the sales staff who signed me up are no longer there because of shady practices, which lines up exactly with what happened to me. Most of the regular staff are nice, but management did nothing to fix the problem. Be very careful what you sign here and watch your bank statements. 1 star added bc i like most of the staff are dope.
