I came in just to see what kind of deal this Kia Dealership would work out with me. I was in and out in 4 hours and was taken care of. Thomas and his manager made suggestions that we had not thought about. I enjoyed talking with Thomas and his manager while waiting for paperwork to come through and I loved how interactive everyone was and the energy of the dealership. It was a complete 180 from the previous dealership. At the end, I met with the finance person Nancy and she was a hoot, I really enjoyed working with her! I went in and worked with someone named xavion, I put down $2500 on a 2025 Kia K Ford. They said I was approved with my income and my credit no cosigners know anything like that and I don't even have good credit nor a lot of income, but I was still able to leave a lot to only have the car for a month and then they said I still wasn't approved by any banks, which makes no sense unless they were being shady because how can I leave a lot if I'm not approved by any banks and they allowed me to keep the car up until I'm guessing someone got their commission just for me to give the car back and get my down payment back, which was good, but makes no sense why I was able to leave the lot at all! Horrible customer service. Ordered a simple part. Called three and four weeks later and the part didn't come in. I asked about a refund after a month and they threatened me with a restocking fee and that they would charge me for the useless diagnostic they did without my permission. (A "diagnostic" where they told me I needed two brand new filters replaced and a coolant flush that was already done.) If I could give them no stars I would! Two times already I have made appointments months or weeks in advance and when the day comes to work on my car or change the oil they are unable to do it because they do not have the parts in or the oil in stock. Sitting here waiting on my car for an oil/filter change and they are being so loud and obnoxious as they act out, posting videos of each other and their antics on whatever social media platform. And the guy who keeps banging on a cymbal (or something making the same sound) and laughing quite loudly about it as he is so proud of his quite obnoxious performance. A couple of years ago (October 2011) I went to this dealer to purchase a vehicle. Admittedly, I didn't have great credit but was in need of a vehicle. Because I wanted a Kia, I went to Legend figuring they'd be able to offer me a fair deal, despite not having the best credit. The woman who was my sales rep was okay (she no longer works there) but her sales manager (I do not remember his name, and I could not find his picture on their website as current staff) was beyond rude to me. This man was condescending and was very clear to tell me that my bad credit is "not [his] fault" and the deals he is able to offer me now is a direct result of my being "careless". I remember these bits of what he said to me because it stung. I went in to this dealer being very honest about my credit - knowing that there would only be so much a dealer could do, but it was not necessary to rub my bad credit in my face, and make me feel worthless. I drove off the lot with a vehicle (finance pending) and was advised by their finance specialist that he would complete the financing within three (3) days. Each day, I called to speak to the financing rep (I do not recall his name either) but he never returned my messages. On day three (3), I received a call saying that my financing was approved, to come in a sign the papers. I went in, only to be told that I had to hand the vehicle back over, because they were only able to approve me for X amount, which was below the amount necessary for the vehicle I left the lot with. The sales manager who previously demeaned me then showed me several unacceptable options, reminded me that my bad credit is my own fault, and ultimately I left this dealer feeling like a less worthy person because of the way I was treated (and with no car). I went to another dealer (please see my other reviews for my review of this other dealer) and was, once again, up front about my credit, and despite this, they treated me like a human being that was worthy of treating with dignity and respect. Because of the way I was treated at Legend Kia, I have no intentions of ever attempting to give them my business again. If you want to be demeaned, go to Legend Kia. If I could I would give it four thumbs down! Be careful with the financial department there and beware of the verbiage on the loan documents. I had an incident yesterday where I was told I had to get extended warranty and I had to get gap coverage in order for them to process a loan. I had cash available but they stated for the deal of the car that I was getting it needed to financed. The advertisement. Statement Stated no such thing! they tried to hook me since they said it has no prepayment penalty which sounded great but there was no way to avoid the extra $5000 in extended warranties that they put on the loan.(new kia's come with 10yr/ 100k) After 4 hours of looking for a car running credit and negotiating I ended up walking out of there tired and carless and frustrated. By the lies. They literally stated I would not have to pay that, but the loan document had it on there. Very deceitful. , they just want to get you in there. I had my engine replaced due to an engine recall in 2016. Fast forward 4 years later the bracket holding my alternator snapped off. I got a mechanic to look at it and noticed metal to metal contact in the bottom of the bracket along with the bottom of the alternator. There was no screw in the bottom bolt hole of the alternator. Then when replacing the bracket, he had to remove the AC compressor and also noticed two screws missing in the bottom two bolt holes of the AC compressor. I called the dealership about his mechanics workmanship and told me I was only covered for 1 year after the replacement of the engine. Anything happening outside that window was my responsibility. I'm writing this review to make others aware to double check the mechanics work. It's unfortunate that we have to deal with this but I have learned my lesson the hard way. I'm just hoping I can save other owners from the headache and high cost of replacing and servicing this mistake that the dealership made. read more

Deceitful, lacking integrity, and very disorganized. I should have been more mindful of the Google and Yelp reviews before ever going to this dealership. I contacted a sales rep through Truecar on the 24th and she made an appointment for me to meet a sales rep named Cheyenne on Saturday. Cheyenne was very sweet and knowledgeable (I hope she gets out of this dealership before they suck her soul away) and I have no qualms with her whatsoever. She had to pass us on to the finance department at which point Victor said I was approved (I didn't realize that this was a spot delivery scam). Victor said that all of the banks he used were closed on the weekends so it would take about 3 business days to finalize everything. If I had known that there was a possibility of not being able to keep the car, I never would have driven it. Forward to the 30th and I still hadn't heard back yet, so I text Cheyenne and she spoke to finance dept and they asked if I had more money (already had 2k) to put down or a cosigner. I told her no and she said ok. Come Friday I asked her if she had heard anything and she said that her manager Danny said he had good news for me. I called this Danny (sales manager) person and he says that I am approved, but not for the vehicle I'm already driving and then states I should come in and look at the other cars they have. Basically he thought I should just be grateful they found something for me. It was a bait and switch type deal. It was a scummy thing to do. So I said, no, I'll just get my downpayment back and he said ok. Anyway, I bring the car back on Friday and ask for my 2k downpayment back at which point Danny says that the business office closed for the day. He knew I was coming in for the money when I spoke to him earlier and he neglected to tell me be sure to be there at a certain time. He didn't care. He was rude and just basically not interested in speaking to me anymore because he knew he didn't have a sale. He then said that he would have me speak to his manager, Robert. Robert didn't care either he sent the new guy Chris over to finish the dirty work that he didn't have time for. Fine. I'll get the check on Monday. Monday comes, how long did I wait for the check to be "found"? An hour. It was a terrible experience and I will definitely be spreading the word as to how scummbaggy this dealership is. read more

I filled out a credit application and let them run my credit. Turned in all the information on my car for the trade. I was happy to pay asking price and was waiting for some final terms and then I didn't hear anything. I checked in everyday for 4 days. Assuming I was buying a car. I have good credit so i knew that wasn't the problem. Finally today I asked for a sales manager. After being disconnected twice, they finally came on the phone and said the car was sold but would I be interested in a Sorrento. I was looking at an escalade. And I wouldn't have let them run my credit if I'd have known they'd sell it out from under me. In Legends defense I think my sales person was brand new. This dealership has been a huge disappointment! We took someone to purchase his first car and the experience has done nothing but jade him about the car buying process. They left us waiting for over an hour after the dealership closed on a finance guy who had left the building for the night. When he went back to sign the papers without us, they tried raising the payment rate and switching the terms on the agreement from what we had already agreed to (Did I mention they had sent him home with the car already before he had signed the "official" contract?" It felt very much like a bait and switch arrangement. The finance office staff have been very rude and 3 months later now, they want proof of his college enrollment and his tuition bill isn't good enough?! I see a consistent theme among their reviews - wish I had listened to them before taking him to this particular dealership. Shame on the GM for not addressing his staff issues. This is the absolutely worst dealership!!!!!! I purchased my car Jan 2016. I've never had and issues until July of this year. I came in for an oil change and was told that I have a recall on my engine. They replaced it for free of course but took days to put it in due to it was on back order. They covered the rental car but I still had to pay for the daily taxes and the $50 deductible from enterprise. No loaner car! Then after I received my car 2 weeks later I try to start my car and it took forever to crank. Plus my check engine light came back on. The next day it stalled on me so I had to get it towed to the dealership. They check it and stayed that my high pressure railing system needed an upgrade and was covered at no cost. Hours later the dealership calls back and states that it's my fuel pump and it will cost $780 with labor!!! It makes no sense! From my understanding is that you have to take the high pressure fuel pump out in order to put an engine in. They so called stated that they didn't touch it. So I take it to my brother to look at it which is a mechanic at another dealership. He looks at it and removes the cover that is over the fuel pump and notice that there is tape everywhere! It looks like someone just taped it up to hide the problems!!! I called kia's service manager Marcio and they still denied they didn't touch it. I only let kia do work on my car. I have no had an major problems at until they put the engine in. They won't cover the cost and they don't care about their customers. I should not have to pay for something I didn't do. If my fuel pump had issues they should have let me know July 4th when I got my oil change. Please at all cost avoid purchasing a dealership from here. Horrible dealership!!!! I recently purchased a Kia Sorento from your location, Legend Kia of San Antonio. My credit report reflects 9 inquiries. All inquiries have been done from this location. Due to these many inquiries my credit has dropped 27 points. It is imperative that I speak to Robert Fernandez, regarding this misuse of personal information. Email nor call was ever returned. FYI I would do the survey and only state the true information about my experience.  I have questions about the integrity at this location. I have contacted Kia corporation regarding this location. I have tried to contact Edwardo,  regarding my credit inquiries done to my credit report and still have not received any accurate information from him.  Buyer beware! !!!! I don't understand how my credit was run again one week later of closing the purchase. Came by trying to get a replacement key for my car. First, they didn't have it and they said they would be getting a shipment later that day, so they said we could pay for the key and they'll call me once it's there so they can program the key fob. I figured I would call the next day just to be safe. Once I called, they said they don't have the key, that it would take 2 days for them to get the part. So far it's been 4 days. I'm sitting here at the parts counter and they have been looking for over 10 minutes for my key that I paid for. So now they're saying to come back in an hour so they can look for it. Well I already drove all the way to the dealership. I have given them extra days to call me so I can come get the key. AND now they don't know where MY key that I paid almost $300 for is at. That is ridiculous! Definitely not the best service around. At least some of the people in the service department are nice. read more

I can not explain how awesome and great the team is here! I would get my oil change done here and a few other things that needed to be changed, Mauricio was always on top of everything for me. I would drop off the car and they would take me to work, then after work they would pick me up. I can not explain how great of customer service they have! I sure do miss this place. Never have i ever experienced an issue, nor have i ever experience such great customer service like i got from this location. That's why you guys deserve a 5 star rating! My mother and I went looking for a car for her. Everything went pretty good tell we went to finance room. Then they say they only take debit cards. No credit cards. We both have used credit card to put down payments before. BMW , ford,and private lots. Don't waist my time for 5 hours and then tell me I can't use a credit card. Almost walk out pissed. So they tell us no DOWN payment but payments will go up 33 dollars. All that drama for nothing. Put a sign up everywhere that u only take cash checks or debit cards only. Note: I don't even want to give them 1 star but you have to. I was really excited to purchase a 2013 Kia Soul yesterday as my first car purchase on my own! I had a very nice Sale Associate named Don helping me. I was ready to drop close to 18k for this vehicle and they told us to come in at a certain time to give my trade and title and finish the paperwork. They made us wait over an hr before telling us they they actually never started on my paperwork and I'd have to come back. Even though they were the ones who designated the time to come in. I then decided I didn't need the car that bad if there wasn't going to be communication and they felt it was ok to waste my time so I decided to walk and asked for my keys and title back. They then made me wait another half hr while they all stood around until we walked into the finance office to get my keys and title. They were trying to hold us up for God knows what and when my mother told the Finance Director to come talk to me he copped an attitude. When my dad didn't shake his hand because the guy was supposed to be dealing with me the Finance Director turned his back on us. Mind you we still don't have our keys or title back at this point. He then called us disrespectful which I laughed out loud about because they had wasted an hr 1/2 of me and my parents time and then acted like we were inconveniencing them by wanting to go elsewhere after poor customer service. This was my first and so far only experience in buying a car and it has put a very sour taste in my mouth. I do not feel comfortable endorsing this company to friends or family because if they acted like this before I bought the car, imagine how they would be after they already have my money. THIEF!!!! My wife Went for an oil change and my son forgot his ipad in the glove box. They changed the air filter (which is in the glove box) when she got the car back the ipad was gone. So she went to talk to the manager and he said he would take care of it. Well she gets a phone call from him saying that they are not responsible. So I go down there and this manager person make me wait for ever, and with a smork on his face tells me that he is sorry. I asked him if he at list did an investigation and he said..... It was me, my husband, and our five year old son. he was very helpful, attentive, not pushy. he listened when we told him what we wanted and he didn't try to haggle us, until we got exactly what we asked for. it was still a long process (about three hours), from start (intros, test drive, filling out paperwork) to finish (finally signing, having the car washed and fueled up), but it was definitely worth it in the end. Legend Kia REVERSED A DISCOUNTED OFFER they made to me the same night, increasing the price of the vehicle. They didn't tell me they reversed the offer. I spoke to the representative 10 minutes before returning to Legend Kia. This was within an hour of making the offer to me. I came back to the dealership and was excited to get the car. I extended my hand and the saleswoman refused to shake my hand and said that she talked to her manager and the negotiations we made earlier "no longer applied because we were still in negotiation stage and not talking actual numbers." Bad business. She said all of this as she walked towards me, shuffling me out the door. I called after leaving twice to see if I could get more information from the manager directly and they didn't answer my phone call. (I already had external financing and the saleswoman asked me how much I was approved for so they could refuse to discount. Bad business.)
