    A couple of years ago (October 2011) I went to this dealer to purchase a vehicle. Admittedly, I didn't have great credit but was in need of a vehicle. Because I wanted a Kia, I went to Legend figuring they'd be able to offer me a fair deal, despite not having the best credit. The woman who was my sales rep was okay (she no longer works there) but her sales manager (I do not remember his name, and I could not find his picture on their website as current staff) was beyond rude to me. This man was condescending and was very clear to tell me that my bad credit is "not [his] fault" and the deals he is able to offer me now is a direct result of my being "careless". I remember these bits of what he said to me because it stung. I went in to this dealer being very honest about my credit - knowing that there would only be so much a dealer could do, but it was not necessary to rub my bad credit in my face, and make me feel worthless. I drove off the lot with a vehicle (finance pending) and was advised by their finance specialist that he would complete the financing within three (3) days. Each day, I called to speak to the financing rep (I do not recall his name either) but he never returned my messages. On day three (3), I received a call saying that my financing was approved, to come in a sign the papers. I went in, only to be told that I had to hand the vehicle back over, because they were only able to approve me for X amount, which was below the amount necessary for the vehicle I left the lot with. The sales manager who previously demeaned me then showed me several unacceptable options, reminded me that my bad credit is my own fault, and ultimately I left this dealer feeling like a less worthy person because of the way I was treated (and with no car). I went to another dealer (please see my other reviews for my review of this other dealer) and was, once again, up front about my credit, and despite this, they treated me like a human being that was worthy of treating with dignity and respect. Because of the way I was treated at Legend Kia, I have no intentions of ever attempting to give them my business again. If you want to be demeaned, go to Legend Kia. If you want to be treated like a person who is worthy of respect, go somewhere else.

    bracket broken and a piece is still bolted into the alternator

    I had my engine replaced due to an engine recall in 2016. Fast forward 4 years later the bracket holding my alternator snapped off. I got a mechanic to look at it and noticed metal to metal contact in the bottom of the bracket along with the bottom of the alternator. There was no screw in the bottom bolt hole of the alternator. Then when replacing the bracket, he had to remove the AC compressor and also noticed two screws missing in the bottom two bolt holes of the AC compressor. I called the dealership about his mechanics workmanship and told me I was only covered for 1 year after the replacement of the engine. Anything happening outside that window was my responsibility. I'm writing this review to make others aware to double check the mechanics work. It's unfortunate that we have to deal with this but I have learned my lesson the hard way. I'm just hoping I can save other owners from the headache and high cost of replacing and servicing this mistake that the dealership made.

    Took almost 3 hours for a simple oil change. Staff was rude when I asked for an update. Not coming back.

The offers from the other dealerships were jokes for the car I was selling. Went to CarMax as the last resort and they quickly confirmed the appraisal and came back with a bit less but almost $5k higher than the other offers. I took it! They were very busy but had water, TVs, and phone charging stations. Every employee I had an interaction with was very friendly. The restrooms (women, atleast) were clean. So glad I decided to avoid the CarMax naysayers in my family and friends!! Will 100% recommend to anyone looking to sell or buy a car.

When you are done, you start getting communication from five different people to complete your process. Every single person tells you, you are done...and youre not. Every single new phone call comes with a new application process or paperwork that is not done. The last person finally told me I was ready to go.And they had an express appointment for me to pick up my car. When I was six minutes away, I get a phone call to complete the process... Needless to say I was very upset. I finally get there and have to fill out a lot of the paperwork I already filled out because, for some reason, it was not filled out. After all was said and done, despite the promise of an express process, they now had to go get the car and clean it because it was not ready to go. The car was great and I have not had issues with it and the price was good... But if only they could work on the service.
