The only "good" thing that came out of that day was the kind people that work there but after that the kindness left because they knew once we pulled off the lot the vehicle we purchased would break down. For reference we are a family of 6 and there is no getting around not having a vehicle, a good working vehicle makes the whole world go around from getting to school, work, grocery stores, and really anything with a family of 6. A month before we went a company and gave them $1000 for a van that was absolutely terrible from the salesperson to the van breaking down on the freeway it was terrible and so when we met Jessica we relayed that information to her because we were hoping and praying JD Byrider would be different. WE WERE VERY WRONG, we made our payments on time and like I said they were kind to us and we were able to drive away with a 2011 Town & Country for our family. You can imagine our excitement only for it to not start on multiple occasions leaving our family in the heat at the grocery store, school, parks, the side of 410 freeway etc..this summer I was upwards of 110 degrees it was absolutely miserable to hear our babies cry in the heat until the van decided to turn back on, not to mention the 7 year old tires that were put on the vehicle. We've had to constantly get air since we pulled off the lot, of course these concerns were brought up but on multiple occasions and all kindness from Byrider and Jessica's team was lost and we were told "service team is on lunch" "service team will call back" "service team leave a message" only for our family to be stranded on the side of the freeway with a shredded tire and a non working vehicle for 4 hours in the heat. Again. To say I was livid is an understatement. Now I know what you're saying why didn't you look at the vehicle, didn't you test drive it, and weren't you skeptical. Of course, and JD Byrider is manipulative enough for their vehicles to work for just long enough to rope you into that contract because they know you are desperate. Sure I admit my family was desperate but it's not about the vehicle anymore, I'm upset about the humanity and these peoples character. Because of them I will never ever trust another human being whether they are kind or not and it's devastating. Quite honestly, I believe in Karma and I hope what happened to use happens to EVERY single one of them at JD Byrider. As of now our van was towed at our expense to their shop a week and a half ago we had to physically go into the dealership on Bandera Rd to get an update and guess what? It's wrecked. There is the biggest dent in the front of the vehicle that was not there but again I digress the salesman ran away so fast because he knew they did that. After speaking with service they are just now "looking " at it. We bought $700 new tires for the van that we're in the vehicle at the time and now they are not taking any responsibility for the 7 year old tires that shredded on the freeway at 70 MPH and caused my wife and children to and spin out on the freeway, no instead they are charging US $63 to put the new ones we bought on. Also, I'm 100% sure it will an additional $50 to get the vehicle out after they have "fixed" it. I'm going to the news I'm going to social media for everyone individually and for the company itself because this has to stop. They made us buy a new starter and 4 new tires exactly a month after we purchased the van because we found ourself on the side of the rode multiple times and they "said" it was the starter. After paying the $700 with no argument, 2 DAYS LATER IT BROKE DOWN AGAIN this time it was the side of the freeway nothing new somewhere there was no side median and so we were in the dirt while the other half was in the road. When I called and told them to come get it they LAUGHED at me when I said my kids were in danger. We got out of there and I hope they picked it up because I would have burned it down. They sent us a letter 2 days later saying our van was repoed for NON PAYMENT and they re suing us or the remainder. That's ok we have a lawyer and will be suing the every loving out of them. I'm very disappointed at JD Byrider. I have this car since January 2, 2021. Went from motor mounts to wheel bearing to CV joint. This car is falling apart almost everyday. I'm end losing this 2007 Toyota Camry. I'm still owe over 10,000 bucks. They are screwing me over. Words of advice for anybody don't go to any JD Byrider locations. They don't do the job done. They don't answer the phone calls. They don't care about nobody at all. They are some devil worship. Here are the issues with the 2007 Toyota Camry from bumazz JD Byrider since I purchased the car on January 2, 2021. Check engine light for a long time. All sensors. Motor mounts. Wheel bearing on the passenger side n CV joint on the passenger side too. CV joint on the driver side of the car. Both tire rods. Hell they mess up the tire rods n saying the tire rods are on the wrong sides. They mess all that over. The damn car is bout to falling apart. I purchased my car a year ago from this dealership. My credit is less than perfect due to medical bills. But they were willing to work with me if I paid a larger down payment and have valid proof of my income. The interest rate was ridiculous. 20+%. I have been paying for this car over a year now. They have honored the warranty for the repairs. But my issue is this. The moment the clock hits midnight they hound you like a bail bondsman. They will call your job your family every reference when you're one day behind. What upset me today was that I had explained to the sales rep that because of the current situation with the CDC is taking to help corral the epidemic that is becoming the coronavirus. I am a high risk person because I am currently going through treatment for ITP and auto immune deficiency. I work with the rodeo as well as other various venues. That is my income. These events being cancelled was outside of my control. Instead of being understanding or contacting me directly they decided to leave a note on my vehicle saying that it will be repossessed for the back owed amount of $389.98 the payment currently is only 12 days behind. They have a card on file but they have to call you each time they want to run it. The last sales person I spoke with ask me why were my payments sporadic. I said to him that currently while I'm going through treatment I do not have income and I had to wait for my tax return. He told me that he would put a note in there on my account in case I needed to move my due date. That was barely two weeks ago. And I come out to see a sign on my vehicle being threatened to be repoed. I have enough stress on my plate as it is. And this company with all this chaos going on is being this ridiculous over a two week late payment on a Kia Optima. Horrible experience. I got a vehicle in Mid December, and it has been in the shop 5 times. This most recent time it has been in the shop for 2 weeks going onto the third week, and I have been without a vehicle this whole time. No loaner offered, no rental reimbursement offered. Just a sorry that happened. The Weidner location has been unsuccessful in diagnosing an issue with the brakes. It was at their location 3 times for the same issue before they tried to tell me it was a power steering issue. It was not. Finally took it to Bandera location and was able to figure out the issue. Rear left brake. Wow big surprise, you mean it wasn't the power steering that the other location tried to tell me was a normal sound. I've requested to speak with the General manager on several occasions and he would never speak with me would have the manager talk to me. I'm very unhappy and dissatisfied with JD Byrider. I am a single mother who is rebuilding credit and went to JD Byrider in search of reliable transportation and a way to inprove my credit score after my divorce. This company bamboozled me. The same day I purchased the vehicle and signed my paperwork the engine light came on and hadn't gone off in the entire 18 months and after the 12 times I put the vehicle in the shop to rectify the issue. After signing my paperwork for the car the saleswoman at the Austin, TX location (which was closed down a month after I acquired the vehicle) took the car to put gas in it and the engine light came on. She told me and the Sales Manager about the engine light and he instructed me to go to a third party to fix it. Needless to say 4 months and 3 temp tags later I was still not able to register my car because the engine light is an automatic inspection FAIL! So I contacted JD Byrider and spoke to a man named "Ram" who advised me that the issue would get fixed although I had already taken the car to the third party mechanic and Pep Boys 5 times already to fix the engine issue (o2 senor repair, gas cap replacement etc.) and nothing worked. Ram arranged for someone to pick up my car to get it inspected and promised me (which he now lies about claiming he never said) that he would replace the car if the engine light came back on. They kept my car for 3 weeks and got it inspected and dropped the car back off to me with the engine light STILL on. I called Ram and he dodged my calls and instructed someone else to basically tell me I was out of luck and that used cars aren't perfect. This company knowingly sold me a car with severe engine issues which left me as a single mother without a vehicle for a total of almost 3 months out of the year and a half I had the vehicle. The cherry on the pie of all this is that the timing belt went out on me in December and I had to once again rent a car and be liable for my car note. After two weeks of paying $300/week for a rental car on top of my car note I was told that the mechanic Sergio did not want to replace the timing belt on an engine with over 150,000 miles on it. So I was told I would have to pay for the engine. $500 down and the other $600 later. I was without a car and drowning financially because of the rental car on top of my other bills. I paid the $500 and deferred the rest of the payment and picked up my car. One week later the engine light is back on, the engine sounds loose and everytime I turn the engine sounds like it is sliding and the temperature light comes on. The day after I borrowed the money to put a down payment on another car with a better company and left the POS car JD Byrider sold me at the dealership and instructed them to pick it up...which they still haven't the car has been there for 5 days they also have the nerve to tell me everytime I call to inquire about them towing the car how this car will negatively effect my credit for the next 7 to 10 years. This company is by far the worst company you could EVER get a car from! Don't walk RUN away! Buy a car ANYWHERE ELSE I beg you! Save yourself the heartache and financial woe. I plan on filing a lawsuit against JD Byrider and if I had the spare time would stand outside for hours each day to boycott their company. RUN DON'T WALK!!! This business is fraudulent! I am a mother of two recently divorced working to improve my credit and overall financial situation and thought JD Byrider could help boy was I wrong!!! I purchased a vehicle that had an engine light on from the day I drove off the lot. I test drove the car and then the saleswoman took the car to put gas in it (after I signed my paperwork of course) and the engine light came on when she brought it back to me....she told me to bring the car back the next day and that it would be a simple fix but that wasn't the case... I purchased the car in August I couldn't get the car registered until February because of the engine light remaining on after attempting to fix the car 10 different times. I was apparently not supposed to complain because my car was under "warranty". I spent over $100 in cab fees dropping the car off to the multiple car shops JD Byrider partners with. The car was given back to me and the engine light continues to come on and go off...things got so bad they had to give me a replacement car (which had an engine light on also and smelled of burnt rubber under the hood while running). The dealership in Austin where I purchased my car was closed down and I have had to deal with the people in the San Antonio office for repairs etc. and they are a bunch of liars and thieves! Ramiro Herrera is the General Manager and he is the biggest liar of them all! He told me that I would get a replacement car because I explained to him that I felt taken advantage of and hoodwinked because I was given a car with severe engine issues that they "rigged" to get to pass inspection only for the engine light to continue to come back on! I was promised a call back about a replacement car and never received one..the finance company CNAC states their hands are tied! I am expected to continue to pay on a car that obviously has severe engine issues...I am taking my story to KXAN in hopes that the world will know not to trust JD Byrider! I have pictures to show that I have had 3 temp tags expire because I couldn't get the car registered or inspected with the engine light on! Now that my car is registered the engine light still comes on and goes off!
