30+ bikes sitting on the sidewalk. Many uncovered (despite recent heavy rains) and not locked up.

Wow. What rude, mean service! I've been going here for years for tuneups since I only live 3 miles away - a walkable distance away to drop my bike off and walk home. I needed a repair so dropped it off. I asked how long it would take and he shrugged and said he didn't know, he was busy with the pandemic. He handed me a ticket. I assumed he would call (as other bike shops I've used) with a quote once he figured out what needed to be done. No call. I waited over a week and then tried calling a bunch of times, but no answer and the voicemail was full. So I drove overe there. My bike was sitting on the corner, on the sidewalk, not locked up. In fact, many of the bikes were not locked up. Anyone could have just jumped on it and easily rode off. I asked him why he didn't call me to tell me it was done and he went off on me. I was taken aback. He told me my paper ticket washed off in the storms. So. That means he left my $500 bike out in the rain, no- the monsoon- we had the past weekend. Who cares about my leather saddle and bearings. Wow. I am so tired of businesses blaming the pandemic for their poor management. Hire some help! There are 10 million people unemployed in NJ right now, if you can't find a helper to answer the phone, process tickets, apprentice a repair helper for simple repairs - then you need management training. I have never experienced such unprofessional treatment in a shop before. Scanning the reviews, I see this is the owner's personality- he is rude to everyone! Even his responses to people's reviews are rude. I am expecting he will probably respond to my review with a snippy response too. A simple apology would have sufficed. No. That would be a blow to his ego to apologize for leaving my bike out in a monsoon, not locked up, not calling me when it was ready, and performing work on my property unathorized. He actually told me - "If you don't like it, go to the Montclair bike shop!". How's that for customer service? I have in fact been to the Montclair bike shop before and always had great prompt service....so I THINK I WILL. In fact, there are about 14 bike repair shops within a few minutes drive. Another one in Lyndhurst in fact. Great one in Clifton. Montclair one is great too. Good one, well-priced one in Passaic near me. SMH.

My buddy introduced me to this place and told me how Grimaldo has been a BMX and Freestyle guy for a long time and that his son is now into it. These guys know their stuff! I am restoring an old school BMX bike and I went there to buy some random parts and get them installed. They were working on another bike at the time but helped me out right away. They did the work while I waited and had some cool conversations too. The bike has never rode or looked better. His son also put on a little freestyle show afterward. My new bike shop.

Mauricio came to service my bike. This company was listed First on the recommendation list given to…read moreme by Lectric. My electric bike of choice was from this company and I believe I made a very good choice. Anyway, this technician was careful, neat and clean, and knew exactly how to diagnose the problem with my hydraulic brakes. As in any profession, it's wonderful to come across people that take pride in their work and are careful and how they treat their customers and their property of their customers. As of now they get 10 stars.

The wait time ALL OVER was 3-4 weeks minimum. So rather than have the bike sit idle for a month, I just rode it. It was not a good ride - seemed labored and clunky. Then my wife got a bit jealous of my enjoyment to bike riding again and decided to get a new bike. That's a WHOLE NEW STORY (and not a pleasant one). The guy at the bike shop (Diamond/Montclair, NJ) was a jerk. After the bike purchase he seemed "inconvenienced" to help her set up her new bike. She complained it didn't feel right and his response? "Well, that's the way I like it." So off we went, very unhappy. Riding home at the end of August I got behind this vehicle (see image) at a traffic light, grabbed my iPhone and snapped the pic. Mobile bike shop? I liked that idea!! I wish I'd seen it months earlier, but, nevertheless, contacted Bill and he set up an appointment to get my 2008 bike tuned-up. Maurice pulls up, does his thing, and my bike is freakin' AWESOME again!!! Now, true disclosure: the reason I didn't rate this FIVE STARS was the price. I thought the $80 tune-up was a bit steep in cost. It didn't require parts or EXTENSIVE labor (parts would have naturally cost additional). Maurice worked on the bike around 15-minutes. Minor adjustments and lubrication of cables. Look, I couldn't do it myself - not knowledgeable enough. But $80? Idk. However, I was pleased that it was back in riding condition and then I thought about my wife's bike! Maybe they can spend time with her to adjust her NEW bike. $30 - I'll take it!! A bit more reasonable and all Maurice did was loosen some bolts and make the bike more suitable for my wife. Happy wife, happy life. So now we are BOTH happy. Look, cost aside, this is an awesome way to get your bike repaired and/or tuned-up at your location. I'd recommend them to ANYONE with the caveat that the price may be a bit more than they'd expect. I'm not knocking the knowledge Maurice had. I think the service Bill (owner?) provides is probably on the high side, but it's at your location. Still, worthwhile looking into and I'd use them again in a heartbeat if I need a repair.

At no point should bolts randomly fling off your bike while you going down the Brooklyn bridge going 24mph. I'm a high school student and I had to pay for my bike with my own money. I've been working since 10th grade to help my mom because she is a single parent so for me the loss of about 5k including repairs leave me without transportation as I can not afford to repair it at this point. I've spent 3.7k on a bike, this isn't including the repairs i had to pay over the span of a year which amount to at least 1.4k+ after random bolts detaching and motor failing, and as soon as the warranty expired my bike had a random electrical issue where the bike wouldn't accelerate. From the owner Pete: OK, where are you going? (Direct email sent from owner) 1- Last Mile NYC replaces all of the electronics on your bike. The cost of the parts and labor is $2910.54 2- Send your bike back to Super73. They will do their own diagnosis, and determine the issues and fix the problems. Unfortunately your bike is not under warranty, the cost of packing up and freighting your bike to and from Super73 will be around $1200. Plus their diagnostic fee, parts and labor.
