Great bakery near where we were staying in Paris. The baguette and croissants aren't the best, but still really good especially for around just a 1 euro. It was super convenient as it was located across from a supermarket. read more

The chausson aux pommes was very good. The pain au chocolat a bit undercooked but tasty. The fruit tarts looked legit but I did not try. The fresh pressed orange juice was very acidic. I think this place has potential but they need to keep an eye on quality especially with the large variety of goods they offer.

I can't think of a single item that we had that we didn't like. Salad, bread, pasties, sandwiches, crepes, some swiss pistachio thing. Even the coffee was great. These stores are part of a chain but they don't act like it. Each location is like its own stand alone culture. Very open and light location on a prominent corner. The service is generally prompt, but depending on who is ringing you up, they can be slightly impatient with those of us that are not fluent (other patrons at the time felt the same way)--for that reason I took away a fourth star to this particular location but added it back in just due to the quality of the food. Very solid option.

It gets a cheaper rating but I thought the prices were very comparable to the other boulangeries in the neighborhood.Again they had great croissants (I tried them at every boulangerie we visited) and their large macaron "sandwiches" were also delicious (although not my MOST favorite of the ones we tried in Paris). This place was also just a few steps from our apartment so we visited it a lot as well. None of the women that served us during the week spoke English but again, you don't need much in a boulangerie. The service was always friendly and efficient. Often this place was busy but service was quick. No outdoor seating, and they were open until 8pm which was awesome. Later in the day you'll find that pastries and bread are not as fresh but even though we got macaron "sandwiches" at 7pm and they seemed a little damp from the fresh fruit in them, the taste was delicious. The outer shells of the macarons were slightly tough but the overall texture wasn't bad. the berries (we tried frambriose and fraise, or raspberry and strawberry) were incredibly fresh and tasty. I'm sure if we had purchased them earlier in the day they would have been even better. We also had the coffee eclairs and they were amazing!!! I don't care that much for eclairs as I do no like the type of bread used for them, but these were good enough that I'd get them again. The filling was rich and the coffee taste was outstanding.
The breads are sold by the kilogram. So ask for a little chunk Standard min measure in Paris is 100 grams (approx 3.5 ounces).
