Start to finish the project took six business days, with the first day just being a power wash of our house the Friday before work began in earnest. Rob and the on-site foreman, Juan, were very communicative and available throughout, keeping us informed and really listening to (and thoroughly answering) our questions. We even decided on the last day that we didn't like the gray we'd chosen for the porches, and they quickly got a new color and repainted it without the job running into the next week. The third company I called was Porcaro Power Painting and they had all excellent reviews on Facebook . My brother said his neighbor's home was painted by Porcaro and the neighbor along with my brother said it turned out great. So Rob Porcaro came out to look at my house and then emailed me with a summary of tasks to be done along with a reasonable quote falling between painters #1 and #2. AND he answered all my questions. My house turned out great and all within a week's time. From the pressure washing, to the prepping, painting and touchup, it was worth every penny. Juan and Roberto are excellent painters, very neat, thorough and pleasant. Rob was here daily to inspect the job and kept me apprised of the work plan. I can't say enough about this company. Reno-O-Paint did a good job painting the interior of our house in December 2019. We gave them the…read morejob with the condition that they would also paint our house's exterior with a projected start date of September 2020. I started reaching out to them and finally got a projected start date of late Sept. 2020 at the end of July, 2020. As we got into the middle and late August, I tried to reach out to them again to get a firmer start date. After numerous attempts by me they finally responded in the second week of September that they would not be able to follow through with the late September start date. I was told they could do the job next Spring! They stated that due to CoVid they had laid off half their work force! I understand that CoVid has created huge effects in our personal lives and economy. However, I noticed that other companies are responding and continuing to take on work. Ren-O-Paint's decision and late communication with me forced me to immediately search and find a company willing to take on my house painting. Fortunately, I was able to succeed finding someone and will get my house painted when I wanted it done and not to Ren-O-Paint's schedule. I regret having to give this negative review of Ren-O-Paint not keeping their commitments, but so it is! Despite the crisis, other companies are able to make commitments and keep them!

I found this really helpful and recommend it to anyone. Pam was very knowledgeable and taught me a lot about how paint looks completely different depending on the light. Again, highly recommended for anyone. Dave and Ross painted, and I don't think they could have done a better job. They are artisans with a LOT of expertise who made my condo look brand new. They are everything you want in a painter. They showed up on time EVERY day, cleaned up after themselves, and were polite and professional. They respected the work hours set by my HOA. Ross even fixed my running toilet (at no charge), which I really appreciated. Before the painting, I had some old baseboard heaters replaced with wall heaters. As a result there were some areas with holes, old paint color, etc. Dave and Ross cleaned all that up. The wall heaters look great, and you can't tell there used to be baseboard heaters. They also fixed a ton of issues I had with my trim. The flooring company who installed it didn't do a great job of joining separate pieces. Painting America took the time to fix all the joins and make it look like a single solid piece. I took bids from 3 other companies besides Painting America, before I went with them. They were one of the higher bids, but they are well worth the money. I am so pleased with the results, and when I need painting in the future I won't look elsewhere. All of the above before they even scheduled me for an estimate. I have since had other contractors with equally fabulous reviews on yelp come over, give me estimates and get me on the schedule for this year.

I contacted him and he cane out and gave me a verbal quote. I agreed and told him I was having floors replaced so I would need to have that completed first. He said if He did that part he could give me a price break, unfortunately his price was higher than the flooring company that I was using. So we set the date for after the floors were completed. Along the way i reached out regarding trim work and replacing doors to which he rarely answered the phone and preferred text. I would ask when he could start and his responses were hit and miss. Finally when we set a date, I reached out the day before and asked about items I was purchasing, and then asked him to send a final invoice (which he did not seem to want to provide) and when i gave him all the prices we discussed he mentioned an additional $500 or so for the paint. Now keep in mind when we initially discussed this project he said the price would only increase if I chose a color other than white. And he was giving me the price because it was because he would use the same color and sheen for the walls and baseboard. He decided in the end that he wanted more money and since he does not provide written estimates without repeatedly asking, he was able to change his price. Being that tine was running out I asked if he would honor his price and told him to cancel one item on the list because this was going to put me over budget. I asked if he would honor his original price, and from there he stopped responding. The next morning I called to see what the plans were since I had to schedule time off to have someone there for them, he did not respond to texts or my last call. In the end, I am fortunate I was able to experience this before the project started since it could've become very stressful. I do not recommend any company that does not provide written quotes and will change prices on a whim. Not to mention one that stops responding to a client that they've scheduled a job with.

I made an appointment for someone to come out and do an estimate for painting the exterior of my…read morehome. It was an online booking system. I booked it and made plans to stay home so that I could meet the person and ask my questions. I received two email confirmations the day prior and then the next day no one showed up. I emailed Mark to ask if someone had been by without letting us know and his response was that our appointment slipped through their cracks and they were booked up and would I like an estimate for next season. The issue I have is if you're booked through next season, it might be nice to display that on your website. If online booking is your way of making things convenient or easier for customers, then being completely full, yet still allowing people to book is opposite of convenient. Second, I imagine they feel their time is valuable. If this is the case then know that having potential customers sitting around waiting for you is completely unacceptable. I took a day off of work for this. Third, being booked out till next season is fine, but please don't accept online bookings. I am really annoyed and I don't plan to use a business that let my appointment "slip through the cracks". If they were not booked through the whole season, would they have let my appointment slip through the cracks?
