As you can imagine, we've worked with many different types of contractors along the way.. some are good, some are bad, some are AMAZING. Victor and his crew absolutely fall at the very top of the AMAZING category. They have helped us build out almost an entirely brand new house.. replacing pretty much everything except for a few studs. That means foundation, sub floors, walls, siding, new deck stairs, skylights, framing, insulation, drywall, an entire new roof with vaulted ceilings at a higher pitch than the original, and so much more. Every single thing that they've done has been immaculate - passing every inspection and keeping the worksite clean and professional. They move fast but are very detailed in everything they do. They also have the BEST attitude - always jumping in to happily help or switch things around as we change our minds on them last-minute. We could NOT have done this without Victor and his crew. Shout out to Axel and Bennito! If you are looking for any work done around your house, you will not find a better team than this. Thank you all so much for your HARD and incredible work!!!

We encountered many surprises along the way, including rotten roof beams and floor joists. Many times I counted my blessings that Victor was the builder. From beginning to the very end of the project, Victor showed the following qualities: INTEGRITY: Victor is honest and principled. These are especially important qualities on a project like ours that has many surprises along the way. You can trust his word and intentions. CRAFTSMANSHIP: The quality of Victor's workmanship is top notch. He regularly sent me pictures at the day's end and I was never disappointed. Cuts and joints are perfect! Our building inspector was so impressed with Victor's work that a relationship of trust was quickly established. POSITIVE ATTITUDE: Victor has an excellent attitude and his crew is very efficient and positive. Whenever we hit bumps in the road, Victor's focus was how to fix the problem. If you are considering hiring Victor and would like more information, I would be happy to discuss our project and answer any questions. Before hiring Victor, I spoke with several of his former clients, who, like me, highly recommended Victor.

Absolutely recommend and will hire again!…read more My husband and I own a small home in Burien and recently hired Landin Construction to refresh our bathroom with tile installation, fresh paint, and trim. From start to finish, our experience was wonderful -- and our bathroom looks absolutely amazing! Gustavo and his team are incredibly professional, courteous, and trustworthy. They were so respectful of our home and pets, and very pleasant to work with. We can't wait to hire them for a few more home improvement projects!

Oh my gosh! Can there be 10 stars?!…read more We could not be happier with Landin Construction! Amazing work! My husband is a perfectionist and is very critical of any labor done in our homes. He was in awe of their work. Everything was done to perfection. We had over 6 bids for bathrooms ( total redo) and their prices were amazing for the work they did! They listened to our concerns, came up with a plan. We could not be happier! Besides bathrooms, we were going to have them do our flooring- carpet to LV. Third floor condo - we ordered all, they bought everything up three flights of steps ( 950 square feet) - after carpet was up they noted flooring was off, and LV was not an option unless floor floated. We opted for carpet. They hauled all of the LV back down three flights. Zero complaints. Happy to do whatever was in our best interest! When we thanked them for their great work throughout, their response was always " we thank you. We are grateful for the work!" Kind, perfectionists, trustworthy, tidy... we can not say enough good about them. Family run business. Gustavo and Danny have our highest recommendation! They also work with other stellar professionals. We are so grateful to them!!!

After going through a few estimates, we decided to move forward with Miguel's Painting…read more We recently got drywall repair which was completed from another company. Unfortunately, the drywall repair wasn't to our liking. We hired Miguel to complete the drywall repair and to paint the ceiling afterwards so it matches. Overall, the painting was 10/10. The repair that Miguel completed was a lot better than before. Prior to finishing up the initial painting, Miguel had agreed to come back if we saw an issue with the drywall after the paint was dry. After pointing out an issue with the drywall to him via text, he agreed that some additional work was needed and was willing to come back to get it done the following Monday. After trying to confirm with him if he was still coming on Monday, he pretty much ghosted me and did not respond to my message. I tried following up 2x but no response. Overall, the painting was 10/10. Would I feel comfortable hiring him again? Probably not. If you see something that you're not 100% satisfiedyou run the risk of being ghosted by Miguel if you asked him to come back.

We worked with Luke for over a year to plan and execute our dream backyard. The project wasn't…read moresmall to start with, and we added scope as we went. His team built a covered 16x20 deck, two patios, added new fencing, did lots of ground prep and drainage work, installed pet friendly walkways and artificial turf, and helped beautify our plants/trees. Luke handled all of the planning and signoff with the architect and city on the deck design. He helped make sure the design would actually look really good when built, and when issues emerged with the city's requirements for the permit, he worked diligently to get it all resolved. Luke also went boulder, paver, and plant shopping with us. He made sure what we picked would actually work, and once we picked something out, he made it happen. Luke handled so many of the planning and logistical details for us, was super communicative throughout the process, and gave us lots of ideas to address challenges we were facing in our original space. He was a great listener and continually adjusted the plan to make sure the design fit our aesthetic and functional goals. His team also took such great care of our space. Such thoughtful design and attention to custom details. When we were on the fence about decisions, he'd help show us what either looked like, so we'd feel good about the decision. Now we have a dream backyard that we love to hang out in.

Luke came…read moreout for an initial estimate (which he usually does on Mondays and Tuesdays when the crew is off) and gave me some ideas to chew on. I wanted to do a modern look like one of the decks on his website, but the city's permitting process was somewhat elongated, in part, due to the access being all remote during COVID. Communication throughout was excellent. Samantha checked in every other week while the permitting process dragged on. Some of the city's unique requirements were untenable (and odd given the same design is permitted in surrounding areas), so Luke suggested a more conventional railing. I was able to redo the HOA approval pretty quickly thanks to materials supplied. The work itself spanned two weeks. As it's early season, with short daylight, the crew came out around 11am, staged their workspace, and finished up around 3pm, cleaning everything up after each day. Luke was mentoring some of the younger folks, ensuring they learnt and did solid work. In the end, the city's inspection was anticlimactic. Very pleased with the results.
