At times, we would have appreciated a more open and collaborative response when asking questions or seeking clarification. We also experienced some differences between what was discussed with the contract/sales representative and what the project manager supported once the work began. Better alignment between those roles would help set clearer expectations for the customer and the crew. At the end of the project, there were more touch-ups than we anticipated, and a few of the detailed hand-painted areas could have used closer attention. That said, the team worked through the punch-list items, and we appreciated their efforts to address our concerns. Overall, there was a lot to appreciate -- an earlier-than-expected start, a hardworking and punctual crew, and good attention to job-site safety. I found this really helpful and recommend it to anyone. Pam was very knowledgeable and taught me a lot about how paint looks completely different depending on the light. Again, highly recommended for anyone. Dave and Ross painted, and I don't think they could have done a better job. They are artisans with a LOT of expertise who made my condo look brand new. They are everything you want in a painter. They showed up on time EVERY day, cleaned up after themselves, and were polite and professional. They respected the work hours set by my HOA. Ross even fixed my running toilet (at no charge), which I really appreciated. Before the painting, I had some old baseboard heaters replaced with wall heaters. As a result there were some areas with holes, old paint color, etc. Dave and Ross cleaned all that up. The wall heaters look great, and you can't tell there used to be baseboard heaters. They also fixed a ton of issues I had with my trim. The flooring company who installed it didn't do a great job of joining separate pieces. Painting America took the time to fix all the joins and make it look like a single solid piece. I took bids from 3 other companies besides Painting America, before I went with them. They were one of the higher bids, but they are well worth the money. I am so pleased with the results, and when I need painting in the future I won't look elsewhere. They thoroughly owned resolving each obstacle instead of pushing it back to me to work out. This involved buying different kinds of paint and performing tests -- I even got a video of the test results to illustrate my options. Its obvious that this company cares a great deal about providing 5 star experiences.
