So grateful that we've had Jerry's help and used Pro Solutions twice now for our plumbing needs…read more Both times were A+ experiences and I'll be continuing to use them for all of my plumbing tasks as they come up. A few years ago I used Pro Solutions and Jerry came out for a water pressure issue that impacted our sinks and shower. Jerry was thoughtful and a good communicator on the issue. He fixed the issue immediately and that experience stuck with us. Fast forward to this week, we used them again. Thankfully, no emergencies but I had one toilet needing a tweak and needed hardware changed in one of my bathrooms for the shower and sink that was long overdue. Even though my request wasn't an emergency, Jerry offered to come out within hours of my request to fix everything and was communicative even late into the night (when my toilet started acting up so I frantically messaged them) talk about stellar availability and service. Next day I had Jerry at my door, he was punctual, professional and did a great job of explaining everything so that I could understand what needed to be done, the pricing, and options for the replacement pieces. It was all a seamless and easy process. Jerry was also quick and efficient which was another bonus. What gives this company extra brownie points in my books though is their honesty...To elaborate, I had partially fixed the issue with my toilet before Jerry came but there was still something slightly off about the water levels... after telling Jerry he was able to tweak the part that I didn't know how to fix and literally in seconds, he had the issue resolved. Given what a quick fix it was and that he was already out to help with other plumbing issues, he didn't charge me for the toilet fix. Little things like that go a long way because any other plumber would've likely charged me just for even touching it/assessing it. That shows me that they care about their long-term business and customers, so they aren't out to make a quick buck. Honest, hardworking people are the kind of businesses I'll always go back to for repairs and projects. Two separate experiences and I was a happy customer both times. I'd highly recommend using pro solutions, plumbing and rooter for your house repair needs. Thanks Jerry and Team!

I took off a star for the price (see below for details). Timeline: I found out about the problem Sunday night (11pm), Thomas came around 9am Mon, and he was done at 12pm. My positive experience: My water heater (2016 Rheem) stopped working, and they were able to come out first thing in the morning to take a look. Upon reviewing my existing water heater, they recommended replacing it, along with some infrastructure updates to make sure everything was up to code. Thomas explained everything that needed to be done in detail, and I had a great experience interacting with him. The price: I took off one star because they're a bit on the pricey side. I ended up paying a little more than I originally wanted to even with some discounts they were able to provide. My original water heater was also still under warranty for both tank and parts until 2028, but this information was never revealed to me. I found out after I approved the job (my fault for not looking into it). I would've been happier if a cheaper option to replace some broken parts was offered to me as well, so that I could've made a better informed decision on repair vs replacement. Overall, I'm happy with their work, but price sensitive customers may want to look at other options before making a decision.

The first company that came out charged me $99 for an inspection and estimate and claimed that I needed to replace all my vents (switching from single-wall to double-wall). Pablo, however, explained that this was unnecessary -- he could redo sections and install a new cap on the roof for about a quarter of the other company's estimate. During my research, I also considered installing a tankless water heater to avoid dealing with vents altogether and obtained estimates for that option. Pablo offered to install a high-quality tankless at a reasonable price, while other companies suggested lower-quality units at equal or higher prices. I decided to accept Pablo's bid and am glad I did, because he provided excellent work. I really appreciate his reasonable pricing and straightforward approach. He also responded to my request quickly and went out the same day to inspect the issue and completed the work the following morning.

Not knowing if it was the hot or cold side I had to turn off the main water line to the house, which, as some of have experienced, makes life a bit uncomfortable, like not being able to flush toilets and so on. Well, my family was giving the dirty eye, so at 9:30 pm I truck on over to Home Depot and buy some epoxy paste to try and put in a temporary fix, hoping it would last until Monday so then I could call a plumber. You are aware that getting a plumber to come out on the weekend is tough let alone more expensive. Well on Saturday I wake up to find the the patch did not work so I had call give in ad try to get a plumber to come out. But I remembered one of my daughters had some plumbing work done at her condo and she was very satisfied with the work, so I called her got name and number. I called Eric and he, unfortunately could not come out but he said call Phil he might be able to help you and if he can't I'll try and come out. Eric said that he trust Phil to be honest and good at his craft. I called Phil and he said sure I'll come out send me a picture of the problem. At first he said he would come out Saturday at five but after looking at the picture I sent him he said he would be out Sunday at 10 am. So Sunday at 10 am Phil shows up at my front door. A very pleasant young man. Very polite and soft spoken. He comes in and assess what needs to be done. He lays down tarps and plastic to keep the area clean. The job was not easy but he made it look easy. He did the most beautiful job with the copper tubing and his soldering was very clean. When he was done he made sure there were no leaks and then he cleaned up the area. He gave me a 10% discount on the job, cause he gives 10% discount to seniors and veterans, which I'm both, gave me my receipt and told me that I had a one year guarantee on the job. If you ever need plumbing work done I highly recommend Phils company Cali Coast Plumbing. Tell him Ruben sent you.

They highlight the warranty during the sale, but they don't tell you the warranty is between Payless and the water heater company, it's not between you and the water heater company. It's in THEIR best interest if the water heater fails. They get the new heater under the warranty, and then charge a significant amount to install the new one, at, essentially the same cost as an entirely new system. I asked if they could drop off the new heater and we would have it installed by a different plumber, for a SIGNIFICANT amount less, and the answer was no. I pushed back on the cost, and they agreed to drop the install fee by $300 (give or take) if we didn't get the required permit. Do NOT purchase a water heater from this company. It is their best interest if it fails. They make 'free' money. Incredibly disappointing.
