I was three days into cleaning out my aging father's condo in Port Hueneme when I realized the…read morekitchen sink wasn't going to be fixable without a plumber. Standing water, a leak, a garbage disposal that had basically fused itself in place. I needed someone that day. My fiancé found Clean Drains on Thumbtack. Mario called me within 15 minutes, showed up within 30, and got straight to work - no drama, no upsell, no judgment. And trust me, there was plenty he could have judged. When we opened the box of the garbage disposal my dad had bought years ago, roaches came out. The unit was also missing a piece. Mario didn't blink. He told me he wasn't there to judge. He just wanted to help. He re-piped everything under the sink from scratch - every drain line, every fitting. Before he left he checked the water heater and told me honestly how much life it had left. Nobody asked him to do that. I grew up in that condo. I live in LA now. Clean Drains has my loyalty for anything my dad needs going forward, and my personal referral for anyone in Ventura County who asks. Three stars on Yelp doesn't reflect the person I met. This does.

Paul and his team have been so knowledgeable, helpful, respectful and super informative throughout the entire process. It's been a big project and every step of the way they have gone above and beyond. Even all my neighbors saw the work they have done and all said if in the future they need plumbing they know who they are calling. When it came time for inspection the city inspector said it was some of the best work he has ever seen. To hear that coming from an inspector reassured us we definitely made the right decision using this company. I can't say enough great things about Paul and his entire team. West Coast Plumbing came out and said we should add a pressure regulator. Again, nothing urgent. When we got the bill I paid it. Only later did I look closely at the breakdown of the charges and saw West Coast Plumbing added $100 for "Emergency Service Call." That is outrageous, as there was nothing close to an emergency. I left two voice messages saying I wanted to talk to someone about this, as I strongly disagreed with the charge, but no one would return my call. So much for honesty and customer responsiveness.
