I made a yelp account just to leave a review for the company. I had a tow notice on my car, called them and they said that they could give me a week to get the issue fixed and would not tow my car. I went out this afternoon, not even a day after talking to them to take my wife to the ER and our car was gone. When I called the "after-hours" dispatcher told me that shed pull the call from the day before review it and call me back but she couldn't do anything else. This company requires an appointment and has the Z.F.G attitude, that pays people to watch areas so they can tow immediately . When we arrived to get our vehicle ,one of their workers pulled up an image claiming it to be on the street and blamed the city for it saying authorized vehicles only. There was no time listed in this area, nothing requiring a permit etc . Nothing clearly stating unauthorized vehicles will be towed . 250$ dollars later and over an hour waiting in the freezing cold to get our car back we finally made it home ! This place is a joke. My car was towed out of my apartments certified visitor parking (I'm also a resident!!! It shouldn't have been towed in the first place) and impounded overnight. After waiting on hold for nearly 30 minutes someone told me and my husband to come in at 5:00 PM, and that the total was 300$. Now not only do they close at 5 so our vehicle would have been stuck another day for more money, when we showed up at 4:00 we were told the total was now 375+ dollars and that "they would never have the total amount be only 300" Before picking up the car we called again to ask why it had been towed and to again speak to a supervisor which was denied multiple times because they were not open (when we arrived there was multiple employees across the building and tow yard) then the woman hung up on my husband after telling him they WOULD be holding our vehicle another night and we WILL be paying more. Obviously that didn't happen. They didn't believe that my husband and I were both owners and argued with us before showing the registration in the car providing we were right. I called to get more information and the women on the phone was EXTREMELY rude to me. I went to pick my car up from their sketchy lot the following morning - and they had damaged my car!! They WILL NOT take responsibility for their destruction - and will not pass over their "video footage"... I wonder why??!! The ONLY possible way that the damage on my car could have happened is from a tow truck hooking up to the wrong place - my metal skid plate - and bent it forward. I would give it zero stars if I could, my apartment complex has permitted parking that's $100 and I pay it every month, now my car is in at the mechanics with my permit sticker that won't come off the window. So I get a rental car that says in Big white letters RENTAL CAR! This company is the absolute worst. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR BUSINESS. We live in an apartment complex which has a contract with this towing company to tow cars for various things like expired registration, etc. My husband's car has been unable to pass his emissions test for over 6 months now (has been in an out of the shop to try and fix the issue). Our car has been towed once before but here is the real problem: We got a notice back on June 14th (it's now August 26th) that the car would be towed within 24 hours. My husband immediately took it to a shop again to try and get the emissions fixed. In addition, he called Legacy to let them know he was having trouble passing emissions and they said they would delay a week for towing. This is when we looked in to getting a temporary permit which we were able to secure and that expired on 7/31. A couple days before 7/31, we happened to be home and watched someone from Legacy about to tow his car even though the temporary permit was taped on to the back window. Thankfully we were there to stop him and the guys took a photo of the permit for his records. With the permit expiring on 7/31, we got the car back in to the shop once again and it is still failing emissions. My husband posted the failed emissions test on to his back window to show in good faith that he was trying to pass his emissions and wasn't just doing nothing to fix his car. On 8/15, coincidentally a day we move out of this complex, we find our Jeep to be towed without a 24 hour notice. The company didn't agree with me there should have been another notice after June 14th even though we got the temp permit after the June notice was placed. It was a Saturday when I spoke with the office and they said I could wait until Monday to speak with a manager about the problem. I had to essentially beg for them to discuss with a manager after hours and all they would do is lower it. They are absolutely horrible to work with and I can't believe our wonderful apartment complex works with them. BEWARE y'all. read more

I showed up to pick up my truck that was towed, and asked the lady that was there, while she was writing up the 300$ fee, why it was that only my vehicle got towed while another truck on the same street never, which was parked after hrs as well. Towed my car from Eagle's Landing Apartments from a space that was uncovered (Eagle's Landing stared uncovered parking is for visitors) claiming that it was permit only parking. There was no sign on the parking spot what so ever. Terrible, terrible company. I got my car towed for accidentally parking in the wrong spot within an hour. When I went to pick up my car the next morning at their office I was greeted simply by, "Cash or Card?" You'd think they'd have someone good with people in their office when they're towing away people's cars on a daily basis. The fee they charged me was also jacked up about $40 from what they quoted me the previous night when I called them. On the paper receipt they have a daily impound price. The old price was crossed out, re-written in pen, and ran through a copy machine. Very unprofessional company. I never take time to write reviews, but felt the need to download Yelp! just to make everyone aware of these slime balls. Stay away from any properties they contact. They physically have to get out and look at each individual vehicle on 4 separate levels to be able to see the small tag, hence the description of "trolling". Parked at the apartment complex closest to their twining company. I was gone for 5-10 minutes and my car was gone. I parked in the visitor parking of the apartment complex but they have some policy that is unlisted there which implies it is for their residence during after hours. The towing truck was parked off to the side on the road as I pulled in and was waiting for someone like me to tow away. Needed my car back that night due to working grave shifts and they charged me over $350 dollars and took over 2 hours to get it out when it was only there for less then 10 minutes.
