Stubbled across golf course for best scenic mountain sunsets and it does not disappoint !! To top it off the staff was amazing and warm and inviting . Met us on first night and kept coming back for almost 5 weeks while I visiting from Texas. Different sunset each night but same great staff especially the new manager Huong. A great manager always making sure taken care of and wanting the experience to be magical each time . I visit often so will be back for more sunsets and stargazing . Proud to know great people and see them succeed . No tee's on the driving range mat's? Otherwise, it was great, but it really is a downer when you show up to play 18 and you can't practice with your driver off of a tee. The course was well maintained. Great views to be had on the back 9. The hot dogs and drinks in the clubhouse were good. read more

Went mid-day late May 2025 and the attached imagine was the driving range green. This is such a nice course but you have to move the golf bays so people can actually hit off grass. It wasn't just mine that was like this it was multiple people. $13 for a large bucket of 90 balls on this range made me sad :(. They have a driving range, big putting green and a hilly chipping green which was good. read more

Ate dinner at the Big Fork Wed. 4/16/25. Newly renamed golf eatery on Legacy Ridge Golf course. The parking lot was nicely repaved and the view remains beautiful. Our service was great with the waitress really hustling. Despite a couple of new menu items, it is still just a golf course grill.my Phillie cheesesteak was missing the cheese but the meat was good as was the bun. They've expanded the salad options but my wife's Greek salad was missing some of the ingredients listed on their website. Unfortunately they were out of the key sides of French fries and cheese curds. The interior has not changed other than a couple of high tables added along the windows. The outdoor patio and seating remains the same which remains nice. We'll return for golf club fare like sandwiches and maybe the fish & chips but nothing struck us as particularly exceptional. read more

Course was in good shape. Keep your drives straight, otherwise this is unforgiving and you will donate your golf balls to the native landscape. Friendly staff. We ate lunch after our round, good service and food. The extra $4.00 charge for a veggie burger substitution was a little surprising. read more

The fairways and greens are in excellent shape for this time of year. I really enjoyed the variety of the different holes and the hazards are well placed. The hilly elevations offer a challenge to even the most seasoned golfer. I especially like the layout of the holes in Scottish link style. I really don't like courses that make me feel like I'm in a shooting gallery and Legacy feels open and provided a nice pace of play. This is the second time I've played Legacy and it was just a good as the first. I love their signature hole at 18. For a city course this one plays like a Pro! read more

I am a first time golfer hitting the driving range here at Legacy and it was awesome! I paid around $10 for 90 balls at the range. The range was well kept and not too busy (Sunday around 3pm). There were attendants coming by to pick up any extra baskets about every 30min to keep it clean. Looking forward to coming back here to practice some more! read more

There's mice in the kitchen and they burrow in the walls and then come out and the bartenders have screamed. The food is often rotten because they have no kitchen management and the bartenders are always too drunk to serve you read more

It's nice to have this place in our neighborhood. I like the prime rib on Saturday nights. The food is not at all bad but not fancy. The wine list is deplorable and the beer list could use some serious help. I think everybody that works there is great. The owner is a bit niggardly. Not so sure I trust him either but I love the fact that this place is in walking distance from my house right down the first fairway. read more

Played here with 10 buddies for a fantasy football draft. Finishing order from the course determines draft order. The place is in fantastic condition, from tee to green. Awesome challenge off the tee with changing elevations, sometimes narrow landing areas, protective bunkers, and even the occasional blind shot. It's very challenging but still pretty fair. I was impressed with the great shape the greens were in, and even though some of them were a little tight, they offered ample opportunity for scoring. Really a big fan of this course! My wife and I had our wedding at Legacy Ridge and it was absolutely AMAZING! We first met Andrew who is one of the owners for the club house while having dinner there. We were recently engaged and were looking at different venues for the wedding so we figured it wouldn't hurt to ask if that's something they would be interested in hosting. As we all know weddings can get expensive but Andrew wasn't concerned about charging an outrageous price for renting their banquet area. He had so many connections in terms of chair rentals, tablecloths etc. so just made the whole process very painless! In fact he made everything very enjoyable and easy. The day of the wedding was so special and unforgettable. Their entire staff was so accommodating and kind making it the perfect day. I can't wait to continue to build memories on the course itself. read more

Put my kids in there 4 day lesson and they had a blast. My 13 yr even improved in the 4 days. There facility's are well maintained and the staff are top notch. Played 9 with my boy the other day and we both did well. Very green fairways and greens. The driving range and putting area are very close to the parking area which is nice if you just want to practice. I bought a key which lets you get range balls with out walking up to club house. I believe it was $40 for 12 buckets for price of 10. There are really nice house surrounding the course so I recommend hitting straight. It's reasonably priced for the Nieghborhood it's in. I like that City of Westminster Recreation center is just down the street so I can go sweat in the steam room after a hot round kids can cool off with a swim. read more

My golf buddies and I play golf two to three times a week and have golfed here quite often over the past ten years. Great golf course, but once Westminster took over the course and changed the way they run their golf course particularly the booking a tee time online is completely ridiculous. Almost impossible to book a tee time considering all the different pages you have to navigate, and even then you have to make sure you don't book a tee time for the wrong course since they don't really decipher between Walnut Creek and Legacy Ridge. On top of all that you won't know what your paying until you get to the course since they some kind of variable rate system based on the popularity of the time you book. The price of your round may go up in price without you even knowing it since they don't want to agree to a certain price upfront. This is the main reason my buddies and I will not golf a Westminster run course until they change it back to an upfront agreed on green fee. Their are plenty of beautiful courses within a few minutes drive time that I'll go to instead of Legacy Ridge or Walnut Creek. read more

Paid $100 for two and a cart for 18 at 330 on a Saturday, for a high end course there was no Marshall out the entire time we were on the course. Only made it to hole 13 and the rest of the back 9 was backed up completely. Went to the club house and was told we couldn't get a credit to come back at a later date. Not worth the money for the treatment at this course compared to the others around. read more

I've played almost every public course in the Denver metro and I'd have to say this is the best one. Plus it cost less than $60.00.

This is the first course I've played since moving from California and why a great experience it was. The course looked great for winter and I saw many maintenance workers out improving the course. I'll be back for sure. The only thing I didn't like was that the greens were pretty bumpy but that comes with it's the season and the weather. read more

Course is pretty difficult, but easily adaptable. Be careful if a guy name Kevin is ringing you out and make sure you check your receipt cause he's a shark with pricing and makes it seem like your getting a better deal when in fact your not. When it rains, don't count on Kevin to give you a rain check cause he'll beat around the bush like your dumb. Good golf experience, terrible customer service experience. read more

Really nice public course for a reasonable price. Although it's in a residential neighborhood, the houses don't feel like they are right on top of you. The course is in great condition (July 2012) and it certainly doesn't play like a typical MUNI course. It's challenging, and plays long from the Blue tees for a high handicap player. This review is not about the coarse, although it is great, it is about the people that work at Heritage and Legacy. My daughter and I inquired about having her wedding at Legacy. I have to say I was so impressed with each and everyone we met. Moe, the chef was wonderful and so down to earth, I felt he really wanted to make her happy. Andrew at Legacy was absolutely sensational, I really felt they were bending over backwards to try and make a lovely wedding experience. My daughter and her fiancé did choose another venue, and truthfully I was a little heart broken. These guys both at Heritage and Legacy were exceptional in my book, just thought everyone should know. Outstanding layout with many challenging holes. The course is professionally run and the staff are friendly and courteous. Even in Feb/March the ground crew is working hard to get the course ready for spring. The 11th, and 15th-18th holes will give a real test of your game. The greens are fast and somewhat undulating but fair. A good value for the Denver Metro area. read more
