They said it would take awhile since the weather had burst so many pipes in the area, but their price was reasonable so I said I could wait (expecting it to be dark before they got to me). Their technician arrived within the hour, quickly replaced the pipe and gave me tips for more effective winterizing tonight. I will definitely be calling on them again, and I've saved their number in my phone! (Of the other two plumbers, one responded 30 minutes later to tell me his company was taking the day off, and the other still hasn't gotten back to me.)

We stumbled upon Blaine Construction through a google search and excellent reviews and I am so glad we did. I contacted them and scheduled a day for them to come out to assess the damage, discuss the rebuild and most importantly help with the insurance claim. David and Jesse came out the same week and were extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the entire process. They showed me pictures, explained next steps and brought ideas that I wasn't even thinking of. Within a few days they began the process of ordering kitchen counters, the countertop and flooring. They provided me with samples and floor plan ideas. Jim, Jesse and David were great at communicating every step of the way and answered questions with care and patience. It's extremely difficult to find contractors who truly care about the work they do and are honest, caring people. The quality of the product match the quality of the workmanship. I typically buy these Caps from a larger supplier in Savannah for a little over $20. And you can find them on the internet for under $15. So when the technician quoted me $45 I was a little shocked. It had been about six months since the last time I purchased one, leaving me unsure of what the current price is. After checking with other suppliers I realized they overcharged me by over +$20. Which is close to double the cost. I understand supply and demand. But this was not peak season. No sense in price gouging a random customer who walks through your door. Not that I did a lot of business there, but now I expect to do even less.

I wish to express my sincere appreciation to Doug and John, of Indoor Climate Experts, my trusted…read moreHVAC Technicians who diagnosed, ordered, and repaired an issue with my Attic Air Handler Unit that could have cost me thousands. I discovered that my 5 Ton WaterFurnace Air Handler Unit (in the attic) had standing water in the secondary drain pan. This means that my primary drain pan under the coil was either stopped up or leaking. (Nobody wants leaking water in their attic). I called my HVAC Experts at Indoor Climate and they immediately came out to determine the best course of action. Doug found that the primary inside drain pan was cracked and leaking into the secondary drain pan. He had a new one ordered and he came back with John and installed it today. Amazingly, they were able to remove the old interior drain pan (man was it in bad shape) and install the new in just an hour. Doug and John worked as dedicated professionals and even made my wife happy by cleaning up after their work. They checked out the operation of the unit, and the drain, and reported their findings to me and their office. Brian, the owner of Indoor Climate even offered me a 20% discount on the estimate because of Doug and John's expertise. Doug shared with me that this was the fourth one they've replaced this year. My next door neighbor recommended Indoor Climate because he trust them to maintain all of his rental properties. It can be a challenge to find the right people to do a good job. While I filled out the application for service, the clerk did most of the process in the computer. I was given my amount I needed to pay for a deposit, and a plus was that they took bank cards (credit cards), and process complete. I was in and out in about 10 minutes, really less than that.
