My husband and I have found Lisa and her staff to be caring, responsive, and very reasonably priced. My father-in-law is diabetic, and they have helped keep his blood sugar in check. In addition to day-to-day care, they provide transportation to his appointments at the Veterans' Hospital. They let us know when he needs important supplies. And they serve as our "eyes and ears" since we live so far from him and aren't able to visit frequently. If you need someone to take care of your loved one, I highly recommend you reach out to BrightStar Care of Phoenix!

Last spring, I hired Brightstar Care to provide in-home care to my elderly mother. The caregivers…read morewere good, however the office accounting and accountability was atrocious. They did not provide regular detailed invoices yet charged my mother's credit card continually. After a month an a half and after I discontinued their service, I questioned the billing and had to insist on a full accounting. It took a while to get this, but it turns out, she was over charged over $800. My mother was finally refunded this amount but I was never given an explanation nor an apology, so I have to conclude it was due to incompetency, lack of oversight, and/or possibly fraud.

The nurses and staff were beyond what we could have done for our mom. They treated her with the highest respect and checked in on us frequently. There's no better place you can have your loved one be during this difficult time.

My grandma left here today and let's just say I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. The doctor that…read morehelped her was extremely rude and said "usually the patients in this condition give up" like why would you even say that in the first place to her. She became extremely depressed while here and no one seemed to care or notice. She was nauseous and didn't eat for 5 days and non of the staff seemed to care one bit. She lost a lot of weight and it didn't go off as a red flag even though she became very weak. She could hardly chew or swallow they still brought her food that she'd have to chew a lot for and so she couldn't eat it (like a fried chicken breast). She could barely cut up her own food either but no one stayed to help so we had to make sure one of our family members was always there during meal time to help or we'd bring her food she could eat. We also waited almost an hour for someone to come help her off the toilet which is absolutely ridiculous. While leaving they offered no help at all to get her into our car. We all were struggling and they just sat there and said we have to do it ourselves. The only good people there were David and emile. The nurse had come across while there also had quit a bit of attitude and said if we wanted her to get help to call 911 if we want.

Met with the owner Traci, and it seems great service trickles down. They were able to start service at the last minute and were extremely accommodating. Traci was also helpful with referring various other services for my aging parents such as maid service and medication management. While we will continue to use their service going forward, I would not hesitate in the slightest to recommend them to friends and family. Do yourself a favor and call Sunland first, I promise you will save yourself a lot of time and aggravation.

Sunland hires quality caregivers and will personally match your situation to a caregiver who can be caring and effective. They take the time to get to know their clients and follow through until caregiver and family are content. If there's a problem, someone from Sunland picks up the phone and immediately helps. Their billing system is clear and organized. Their caregivers are caring and trained, and managers, like Jerry, are in touch with the day to day running of the business and will know your name. I wouldn't hesitate to sign up with Sunland if someone in your family (or you) needs home health support.

She calls at the last minute asking to pick up shifts, if you do not pick up the shift she will retaliate and take away your hours for the next week, If you disagree with her in the slightest bit she will fire you. It is her way or the highway, no respect or human decency she only cares about herself, Denise does not care if you have a family of your own to take care of. Any gas used is paid for out of pocket. She does have her favorites, only the employees she actually likes will get paid for mileage be careful though!
