The saleslady was friendly, detail oriented, & professional. I enjoyed our interaction with her. She walked us through the process and even helped us pick out a paint color for the custom shutters. She also provided a quote electronically before she left. I was pleased with the pricing and the quick turnaround time. The shade repair service writer, arrived separately, looked at the shade in question. He was there five minutes, visually looked at it and said he would need to order a new shade and get back to us. He then started to swiftly leave. He took no pictures, wrote nothing down, nor asked us to sign anything. My partner & I confronted him & asked if he needed any info from us for the order & repair. He said no he'd take care of it. We should not have let him leave. Our saleslady reached out to us a week later directly asking about proceeding with the shutters. My partner & I agreed we would not commit to the shutters until the shade was fixed. One month later, we never received a follow up phone call or email regarding the shade. My partner called to ask the status of the shade replacement. THEY HAD NO RECORD OF ANYTHING other than the service appointment. No follow up notes, no purchase order, nothing! My partner asked the name of the service writer, and the lady had difficulty finding it. They seemed extremely disorganized and frazzled. When she finally found the name, she indicated "he has a full plate this week and is out on service repairs all week." Her solution was to offer to call him and get back to us by the following week. I don't know where they come from, but that seemed like a way to make us go away. My partner kindly advised if no record of the issue on our ticket was made post consultation, and no replacement part was ordered one month after the five minute visit there's no reason for us to even be remotely interested in going forward with anything. There was a long pause, my partner said, "hello" The lady said "okay then" then hanged up. Stay away from this company. I must echo these other negative reviews on customer service and follow through is awful.

From the very beginning they rush you, make you sign something to only work with them (sketchy, red flag) and then they do mediocre work. They're going to take advantage of you and your home when you're in an emergency type situation. As immoral as they come. They messed up my bathroom tile, then made me feel bad when I asked them to do it right. As if I was asking too much when they didn't do it right in the first place? They also installed a random circular silver drain in the shower, when I asked for and ordered a square gold drain. Hello? The owner, Michael, simply chalked it up to "hiring workers that don't speak English." If that doesn't tell you all you need to know... The attention to detail and doing a decent, not even good, job is just not there. They didn't finish caulking behind the toilet or on top of the counter. They scratched the paint off of 3 doors, and refused to compensate or correct. They got dirt all over the walls and even got paint on my front door and hallway tile. They littered cigarette butts and a giant sponge (???) in my front yard. They left an entire garbage can of trash in my front yard. They even messed up my garage door, when that is an area of the house they were NOT authorized to do ANY work in. Who knows where else they were messing around while I wasn't home? When I asked them to remove the master toilet, I specifically and repeatedly asked them to cover the hole in the ground. When I arrived home two days later, I walked in to find the sewage hole completely gaping open, releasing toxic sewage fumes into my home and bedroom. Unbelievably thoughtless, careless, and downright hazardous/dangerous. They started trying to charge us hundreds of dollars at the end for things we already discussed, and then when we tried to talk to the owner, he basically said he'd just hand us over to his lawyer. He knows he is taking advantage of us, so he didn't want to discuss the money details with us. You can see in the attached videos/photos that they also threaten to take legal action against us, should we post an honest review. They don't have any basis to do so, but just want to scare customers into silence. That's why they don't have any other bad reviews on here. It's too late for me, but please, save yourself. Find another company.

They took precise measurements, even coming up with a creative solution for our office that maintained the chair rail look while allowing the new shutters to fit perfectly. While custom orders take about six weeks, the wait was well worth it. The team removed our old blinds and performed a flawless installation, leaving the house spotless. To top it off, Ali went above and beyond by repairing an old, sticking shutter (not installed by them) and replacing missing magnets on other blinds at no extra charge. I have both shutters and electronic blinds - all from Classic Homes Dallas. One of my electronic blinds stopped working back in August. I was still within my warranty period so reached out to the company to get my shade repaired. I have been mostly speaking with Jennifer. Over the past 3 months, I have heard every excuse to why my repair is taking so long, ie: we changed our systems, cannot find your original order, the company we used for these shades went out of business, the staff in our office quit (yet again - I think like twice now), we cannot find a motor, we are looking for a separate remote, and the latest, we found a motor and cannot seem to locate the hardware! Every excuse made it seem like it was MY FAULT! And when I asked to speak with the owner, Rick, well, he seems to be on vacation quite often. It took less time to get these ordered and installed the first time than to get 1 simple motor replaced. At this point (after 3 months), a new motor should have been ordered and installed - that would have been the right thing to do since it is under warranty. Not offer to give me a pieced together model that may not hold up! Needless to say, my patience has worn out and on top of it, I have a shade that has been hanging down for 3 months - unable to roll up or roll down!! Not great when it is the back of your house in the hot summer when the sun is going down! Every week that I have spoken with Jennifer, there is a new excuse! And at the end of it all, I still have a broken shade that is under warranty. I am just starting the review/complaint process here and will be making a more formal complaint against this company since I am losing all hope that anything will be done. Just thought I would share my experience for those that are shopping for shades! Product looks great, but you better hope something does not go wrong! Still hopeful that Classic Homes Dallas will do the right thing, but since I am at the 3-month mark, I might just be fooling myself and not dealing with reality!

Reached out to the company and was assured it was still under warranty and they'll have someone come out to fix it however, they require a $250 service charge via check which I issued when they arrived. They came and said some parts were needed and they'll come back to fix it. They came back and said it wasn't repairable. Called the office to ask what next and was told the damage was caused by wind therefore, is not covered by warranty. I asked how they knew it was a wind damage as this seems like an assumption and excuse to not fix the damage. The lady I spoke to, can't remember her name. Maybe Jennifer chuckled and said " well I don't know what else could have caused this damage. You're not supposed to have the blinds down because it can't withstand wind more than 25mph". Excuse me??? First of all, we weren't told this. We were told this was a weather resistant blind and how on earth am I supposed to have blinds and expected to keep it up at all times? What is the purpose of the blinds then??? I told her we only keep it down at night and she said, "well, that's when you get the most wind". When else am I supposed to keep the blinds down? During the day when we're sitting in the patio? Or keep it up when it's raining and storming??? These are the times we need the blinds to protect our outdoor furniture and electronics! She did not seem to care at all and said all she could do was give me a quote for a brand new install! Haven't heard back from them since then and they never refunded my $250 either! Very terrible and deceptive company. I'll stay FAR AWAY!!!!

When it came time to replace, David made it a priority to ensure the new panel matched the look and feel of the existing one. He not only covered the additional cost involved in making that happen, but also added valances to address a mounting gap caused by a change in manufacturer. As a result, my shades were not only restored to their original quality, but the overall design now feels even more chic and elevated than before. The solution David provided speaks volumes about the integrity of his company. He seemed to be in a hurry, rushed through the consultation and made me feel pressured into making a selection. David was rapid fire in the way he presented the fabric samples making it a very frustrating experience. He seemed to think I didn't like anything he was showing me, and said so, but really I was just confused, he was was not giving me time to look at a sample before he assumed my feelings on it and quickly pull out another sample. I'm not very demanding, I worked public service for most of my life and want to be kind to others working in customer service, but the customer service I got from David was just very weird, upsetting and stressful.
