It was a DEF sensor problem or something like that but the bottom line is it was going to leave me stranded in the middle of nowhere. I did Internet and pulled up Griffin and spoke to Joe from the service department. He not only spent the time to walk me through a couple of potential solutions, but he texted me some information and contacted me after hours to make sure everything had been done as far as we could. They agreed to let me get to the dealership and see me in the morning. Thank you so much for going above and beyond.!

My brother purchased a 2024 Dodge Durango Hell Cat on Saturday August 17th. My brother is bipolar…read moreand suicidal. I called the dealership to inform the GM Mike, of my brother's mental state. I gave Mike the following facts; that he was just involved in a roll over accident, going over 100mph on the shoulder 2 days prior, was arrested twice in those 2 days for driving under the influence and just got out of a mental hospital. The GM Mike noted that he could tell something was off with him. I also provided my brother's Facebook info so he could see I was not lying. I asked the GM Mike not to sell him the car, because my brother is a danger to himself and others. At the time of this call, my brother did not take delivery of the car and was still on the lot. They sold my brother the 95k car, took his 33k cashiers check and committed bank fraud. My brother is unemployed and is not employable in his current state of mind. Somehow my brother was approved for a 60k loan with no proof of income? On the way back from Wl my brother received another moving violation ticket in Kane county. The brand new car broke down on the highway and is currently back in your possession. I have called the dealership several times, my father has called and my cousin has called, with no phone call back. My brother is currently in another mental hospital and is under the impression that a loaner from your dealership is going to be delivered to him at Lake Behavioral Hospital in Waukegan. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen. You knowingly sold a car to a mentally unstable person, without proof of employment. You have possession of the vehicle and the first payment has not been made. There is no reason to give this vehicle or any vehicle to my brother.

Been looking for a vehicle for my son and saw something on their site that I thought might work…read more The moment the call started the employee was outright curt when I asked about bartering over the phone. Although I understand that they usually don't do this over the phone, I don't live anywhere close and can't afford to drive all the way there to just get told "no". During the call, I did my best to explain that the pricing around where I live is not anywhere near the price they were asking. The vehicle in question is over TEN YEARS old; low miles or not, it is much more prone to breakdown because of its age. Toward the end of the call, I said something along the lines of: "I know that this is a lot lower than what you are asking* and if it's too low you can tell me no--I completely understand." *The offer I made was about half the listed price; we don't have a lot of money in our family and his old van died unexpectedly. The employee on the phone proceeded to say "Is this a joke?!" After which they proceeded to hang up on me before I even got another word out. They didn't even make a counteroffer or try to turn me to a different listing that would be closer in price--nothing. This is by FAR the worst and most unreasonably rude dealership phone call I have ever had. Not once did I say anything aggressive or act in any way that would've prompted this reaction (I even asked my other kid, who was in the other room, if I sounded too abrasive and they said "no"). Despite this, I hope the employee(s) have a good holiday and a happy New Year. Would not recommend going here to anyone. I'd rather send them to a scrapyard. (Janelle) == //EDIT 1: Quick note, this is a new account that I made for my mother under my name (she's not very good with computers) hence why the name was (both incorrect and) different than the one on Google Reviews--it just used my G. Account name that is set up when I made this account. Regardless, it has nothing to do with the review so I'm not sure why it was mentioned..? //EDIT 2: I just have to say this because it's bothering me. To the owner who responded on Google reviews (not here for some reason?), not once did she say anything about an "out-the-door" sale. I was in the other room and heard the entire thing. She would've even been open to bartering or discussing it but she wasn't even given a chance--whether you thought it was a joke or spam or whatever. Like dude, that's just not right. Just hanging up on someone when you are business is extremely poor etiquette. I've worked in customer service before and it sucks but, especially when it is a new caller, you don't do that. It isn't hard to just say "Sorry but no thank you, have a nice day." and be an adult about things. She called you because she likes supporting small businesses instead of big dealerships--which she never said anything about--she called other small dealerships. = None of this is meant with malice, figured I should state that since it is difficult to tell on the internet, it is meant in a more "disappointed parent" type of tone. I can't respond on G. Reviews so I figured I would here. As I am writing these edits, I was reading the other reviews; it seems that this owner has an issue with this--being rude to people who ask questions. Take it or leave it, either way, it doesn't change what happened or how the employee--or I assume the owner--spoke to my mother.

To make a very long story short, in late July 2021, my wife and I were visiting family in the…read moreWhitewater/Fort Atkinson area and, at a most inconvenient time, ran over a giant piece of some sort of metal shrapnel that managed to lodge itself firmly into one of our tires (which are all still less than a year old). To make matters worse, in our efforts to get the spare tire on, one of the bolts got stuck. After a very painful experience with Subaru roadside assistance (which is a story for another day), we managed to get our car to my in-laws' house to assess options. The next morning, they reached out to a local place they've had good experiences with before, but they were unable to help on essentially no notice. My mother in law did some online research and heard some good things about Tenpin Motors, so we gave them a shot. It was an amazing experience. They managed to procure a very similar tire, which arrived later than same day, got it on and sorted out the stuck bolt issue. We took it in early to mid morning and it was good to go by 5pm. The gentlemen we worked with is I believe the current owner. He couldn't have been nicer - friendly, professional, explaining everything well and clearly was looking for the best way to make this right (as opposed to just trying to up-sell or get us to spend more money). And the price was extremely reasonable. And they have a couple super friendly, awesome dogs in the shop too (always a plus for fellow dog lovers). It went from being a very stressful situation where we felt like we had few options to Tenpin saving the day. I cannot recommend them enough.
