purchased used vehicle with a very expensive warranty (over $4000). The same day of purchase contacted "Chaplin" back at dealership with questions about the warranty only to be told that "he had spent too much time With us already and was not going to answer any questions, as he had other customers and his kids to deal with". We later found out warranty had bad reviews, the car sold to us had issues that had not been disclosed, we were told 75% tires (actually 20%) and brakes 70% (actually 30%).We waited 2 weeks for reimbursement of warranty (dealers responsibility) and had to threaten to sue. Wow! I was absolutely stunned at how easy of a process this was. My wife and I bought a Prius at a big dealer a few years ago, same year, similar miles and price but we were basically held hostage for over 5 hours. Went in because they had a wide selection of commercial cargo vans(17) on there website in the range I was looking at(8-18k). When we got there there most of the vehicles that they had on the website where not ready for sale. But they had other more expensive ones ready for sale. Modern day bait and switch......The vehicle I test drove was on empty so I wasn't even sure if I could take it up to highway speeds without the fear of being stuck without gas. Sales person and finance manager then tag teamed me on how I was being unreasonable and belittled me for requesting a slightly lower price(500 off) for the repairs I would have to do...replace front grill(broken to the point you could hear it rattle when driving), replace tires(one was almost toast), smoker smell removed, back up alarm didn't turn off right away when taken out of reverse, some other superficial items to make it presentable as a professional skill trades vehicle. They priced the vehicle at the high side of kelly blue book dealer's price of excellent condition which it was on the low side of fair at best. Yesterday we had a very unpleasant, unprofessional experience attempting to purchase a used truck. We visited the dealership twice in person (on the same day) but did not reach an agreement during those visits on a price. Within an hour of leaving, our salesman called our home with a new offer. We accepted the revised offer and were told the truck would be put aside for us until we could complete the deal. Long story short, the next day after work we called to make final arrangements to complete the sale. Unbelievably, the salesman informed us the truck was sold literally out from underneath us to another party. We have never been treated more disrespectfully by any auto dealership and hope this review will stop others from this type of experience with this dealer. read more
