I expected much more from a dealership of this size, especially when purchasing a vehicle that was represented as certified. Here are some of the issues I've experienced: I had the vehicle for only 10 days before it needed to go back to Ewald for repairs. The vehicle has now been in their service department for over 3 weeks. At this point, I've owned the vehicle longer while it has been sitting in their shop than I've actually been able to drive it. I discovered a fuel-gauge issue almost immediately after purchasing it. The gauge was showing low fuel, then after driving home and restarting the vehicle, it suddenly showed half a tank. This should have been caught and addressed before selling the vehicle. What makes all of this even more frustrating is that this was sold to me as a certified vehicle, which gave me the impression that it had been thoroughly inspected and was ready to be sold with confidence. I completely understand that used vehicles can have problems. What I don't understand is how a vehicle can be sold as certified, develop problems within 10 days, and then spend more than 3 weeks in the dealership's service department. I've spent a significant amount of my first month of ownership dealing with problems, service, and uncertainty about a vehicle I had just purchased. This experience has seriously damaged my confidence in Ewald, and I would not make this purchase again knowing what I know now.

When I contacted them to explain the situation, they refused to respond. I took it to another repair shop and they tried their best, however it was ultimately deemed irreparable. Finally got ahold of Zach 2 months later. There was no effort to remedy the issue or discuss any reasonable solution. They did offer to charge me $50.00 an hour to look at it AFTER telling me it had a catastrophic electrical failure. It felt like once the sale was complete, customer service no longer mattered. I understand that used cars can come with risks, but a vehicle failing almost immediately raises serious concerns about how it was inspected or represented before sale. I would strongly caution others to be very careful when considering buying a vehicle from this dealer. Make sure to get an independent inspection and understand exactly what you're getting into, because support after the purchase will not be there.

The slogan listed on their website states "Driven to move you," however a more honest and accurate slogan would read "We run thick oil in our vehicles and cross our fingers that it makes it off the lot." These schmucks make Danny Devito in Matilda look like a reputable used car salesman. Save your time, money and sanity by steering clear of these guys!
