I was hesitant to try these guys when a friend of mine coerced me into going. I had tried the…read moreother 'fake' cigarettes last year. You know, the 'blu' and the other ones you can get at gas stations and truck stops. The truth was, the only those things did was pretty much make me mad. They were absolutely no replacement at all for cigarettes for me. However, my friend is quite persistent and finally talked me into going. We showed up about an hour before closing. Those poor guys put up with us for two hours. We literally tried every single flavor they had. By the time we were done, I know my whole body was buzzing from the nicotine and I was talking faster than I could breathe. The atmosphere of the place is nice. I can easily see them doing some kind of "Jazz Tuesdays" or "Spoken Word" Thursdays there. It is well done and comfortable. They have quite a flavor variety and the good thing is that they let you try everything they have. I have been to other smoke shops that you don't get to do that. I suggest you try things that you normally wouldn't think you would like. For instance, I thought I would LOVE strawberry and hate butterscotch and the exact opposite is true. As for me and my smoking. Well, when I walked in there in late June, I was smoking a pack and a half a day easily. I have had four cigarettes in the last five days. Frankly, I think that is because my stupid brain is still unwilling to give up that one...last...cigarette. As for the quality of their juices....well, I haven't been able to find anyone better. The Nicquid line is actually produced somewhat locally (DAYTON). It's a bit muted (I think) but the flavors are pure with no weird aftertaste. Prices...they really can't be beat overall, not for the quality. Their starter kits are VERY reasonably priced and no where in Cincinnati can I find quality juices for the price they have. I have, however found more expensive juices at other places that don't even touch the ones Alt Smoke offers on quality. I've also tried ordering juices online (yeah, I'm cheap) and I've wasted WAY more money than I've saved and learned a pretty good lesson. I'm sticking with Alt Smoke. I'm going ziplining on Saturday with the money I've already saved on cigarettes. Also, my plan is to wean completely off nicotine. I started at the 18mg level and am down to 12mg now. The staff is very knowledgeable and tolerate my exuberant personality VERY well. I have also seen them help multiple other clients and have always done so with extreme patience. KUDOS to them because I think I would have plotted the death of some, myself included. I love this place and have returned multiple times and will continue to do so.
