If you like smoking tobacco out of a water bong, various posters of Taylor Lautner with his shirt off and Kristen Stewart with her shirt on, hemp hippie clothing, hundreds of varieties of incense, and high quality triple X rated features on DVD then High on the Hill is the place for you! High on the Hill looks like a huge house with a parking lot out front and is properly named as it rests at the top of State Route 32 before you make your descent into Newtown from the Eastgate Mall area. This is your typical head shop with the main floor posing as a varitable Spencer's store and the upstairs posing as a Hustler Hollywood meets Harold and Kumar. I usually make my way right upstairs but to each their own. I've admittedly only purchased pipes from here (and maybe a DVD or two (for educational purposes only)) mainly because I love to have a nice bowl of tobacco at the end of a long day. They definitely have a worthwhile selection of glass pipes and what not at reasonable prices and the people who work there are always friendly and in high spirits. I've never had a bad experience at High on the Hill. So next time you're looking for a dank spot to do some lightweight shopping make sure you hit up High on the Hill. read more

I've been going to high on the hill for quite awhile, have spent a TON of money but I will never go back after today nor will any of my friends! I have never been anything less thannnice and patient with all their employees. Other than high prices I've never really had an issue. Today I go in to purchase some OPMS Kratom and I use a gift card (had just purchased it at krogers, was activated and not used) while they were running the Gift Card the "Manager" unplugged the CC machine. They assumed it didn't run the card so they swiped it again.... Declined, I explained to them that I literally just bought the card showed them the activation code that comes with it so they ran it again... Declined. So I asked the lady if it was possible that it charged my card when they shut the CC machine off and she said NO not possible at all (she was 100% wrong), and there was nothing they could do and she literally walks away clearly not giving a shit. So I went outside, and went to the website to see what the balance was. Turns out when the manager unplugged the machine it still charged the card, I literally showed the exact time the $50 was taken and the transaction on my phone which they barely cared to look at and told me there was nothing they could do or just walked away from me. I was in a hurry running VERY late for work at that point and she didn't give a shit (shocker) and instantly tells me to loose my attitude that she was sick and can't handle this shit ( I literally just tried to show her that they charged the card and that I was in a hurry). She was too busy doing inventory while there's 5 people standing at the desk waiting for help) so after that the manager came out (the one that caused all this) and started giving me attitude all because I wanted my money OR product and was clearly getting pissed at this point! I mean who the hell wouldn't!?!. I literally showed them the transaction multiple times and the manager kept saying It was declined on there end and that's all she would say or do. So at that point I get pissed, and the second I got agitated she got VERY loud talked over me, and belittled me in front of 10 other customers. Finally she gets on the damn phone (which her lazy ass should of done from the get go so I could get out of there) to call and verify the card was charged which is all I wanted. The Manager basically just wanted me to leave and not worry about them stealing (out of ignorance) $50 dollars from me. So my choices were to leave and not get the 50 back at all or be very late to work all bc they didn't give a shit until 45 mins later with a attitude. I rarely get shitty with anyone, so pretty s ure I wasn't the problem here. I mean wtf? She was literally the most unprofessional manager I have ever encounted in my life! Then she said I kept making comments about her or some bull shit. I literally said nothing but stuff like I'm not leaving until i get my money back or the product, and your not going to rip me off because it didn't seem like they were going to do anything other than talk down to me. It's pretty clear why she is stuck managing the local head shop lol. It's not my job to figure out what happened and then treat me like shit bc of my "attitude". I will never shop there again (especially after my online supplier restocks in less than a week which I recommend anyone to check out!) and nor will a few friends I told what happened.... so that just cost your shop hundreds of dollars a week good work boss lady! DO NOT BUY KRATOM FROM THEM!! FIND A SAFE AND QUALITY ONLINE SOURCE! If you are buying Kratom from them I highly suggest you look else where. It may be an enhanced product but its not that far off from high quality online powder. They charge $35 for two ounces of Red V, $30 for White, and $25 for two ounces of Green V powder which is insanely expensive and even if you buy a crap ton they will not reduce the price. My online supplier will be restocked On 7/23/18, which is WAY cheaper VERY professional excellent customer service and is always shipped the next day (they at least know what Vein color their product is, these guys know literally nothing about what they are selling). If they had not belittled me in front of an entire store full of people all because I wanted my money back or product and appeared to have an attitude (hmm couldn't imagine why!?) I probably wouldn't of left a review. If she would have shown she cared and said ANYTHING else other than it just shows declined ... you know something like Don't worry sir, we'll figure it out. I went in there just looking to see if they had some smaller glass pipes for reasonable prices, and possibly some replacement parts for another piece of mine.
