We sat at the bar and had a great meal and excellent service. I've wanted to try this restaurant (and it's sisters) for some time, so I was excited to find myself close by around lunchtime. We were early enough not to have to put ourselves on the waitlist. They do pack up during their busy times, so I'd suggest using yelp's wait list feature if you're there at the height of meal time. They have outside and indoor seating. Many tables are high tops as well as regular height tables, so if you have a preference do ask. In addition to their regular menu, they have a large printed daily sheet of specials. So many appealing options appeared on both menus that it was hard to choose. Prices are not inexpensive, but serving portions are large. My husband chose their angel hair pasta. It had spinach and shrimp, mushrooms, and feta in it. He said it was very good. I had their sautéed rock shrimp and grits appetizer. The portion was as large as an entree. It had lots of rock shrimp along with sausage pieces in a savory tomato based paprika sauce on top of grits. I'd order this dish again in a heartbeat. Food was awesome, some Came here on a crowded Saturday night. 5 of us. Called ahead to get on the waitlist, and upon arrival still had a 20 minute wait. No biggie wasn't in a rush so we found spots at the bar and ordered some drinks. Sat down, greeted by our waitress. Did the normal greet then asked us if we wanted an appetizer. Picked the Salmon Wontons. Sounded awesome. Nope....they ran out. Ok....with 5 of us trying to find something we did the Brussel sprouts (seriously good) was the backup. Went to order a fish dish w Yellowtail. Nope. Out of it (along w Swordfish). I ordered their seafood pasta while my wife ordered horseradish crusted red snapper over a bed of greens. Before that however my m.i.l. kept hyping up the French onion soup. Now these can be gut bombs, and this was no different. But I'm gonna throw a gauntlet down and say it was the best f.o.s i've ever had. And I've had one at the Eiffel Tower (hint, that one was terrible imo). Ok, entrees arrived. I dug into the pasta more and wife dug into her dish. It was supposed to be the marriage 50/50. It's ok...i had more of the fish next day. I will say that when you sometimes have eaten a bunch by the time you get to the main you are already kinda done, so to have it next day which was nice and hot I think the fish was awesome, and almost appreciated it more. My daughter has the Korean BBQ dish....we all agreed it was very dry, and she honestly didn't care for it. Dinner done..tables cleared..waitress asked for dessert. As we were celebrating my bday I got to pick.....bread pudding. Nope! They were out of it. Ended with the 'Stoner's delight' and while not my thing, it was extremely good and tasted home made (even the ice cream we added). Dessert plates still on table waitress presented the check and credit card machine. I didn't like this at all. Give us time to relax, digest, talk and then say 'let me know when ready'. I looked at the front door..there were no folks waiting and empty tables so we weren't holding people up. Just left a bad taste. For the food alone I'm going back. We'll see about the service. Came for an after work quick bite alone after hearing so many raving reviews about this place and let me tell you! Not only was the service so friendly and inviting but as soon as I stepped in the atmosphere made me feel like I was somewhere special. I nabbed a glass of wine right before happy hour was over thanks to a very friendly and gracious manager who came over to make sure I was taken care of. My server who was so lovely took my order for their Famous Indoroni which I LOVED! The portion is HUGE and when I asked for a to go box it was done table side by someone just as awesome as my server. I've passed by the location so many times without realzing it was nestled here and I'm so happy I was able to enjoy this amazing experience and food. 10/10. read more

Check in staff were nice but we came in very early with empty tables and asked for 4 top table as we had 4 people. Three of our party of 4 arrived and the fourth was on the way. They would not seat us until all were there. Even when I showed them the car pulling up in the lot, I was told the the patron had to pass through the front door first. This attitude placed a real sour note on our experience from the start. We had a very elderly person with us and it didn't seem to matter. They did not live up to their what we read on the web that they treat patrons like family. After all the excellent reviews for this restaurant, I had high hopes. Unfortunately the outcome did not meet my expectations. This location is usually exceptionally busy, so be prepared for a long wait.. especially at dinner time. On this occasion I got the Fried Brussel Sprouts and the Fish Sandwich with pasta salad. First the Fried Brussel sprouts. They were delicious up to the point I got halfway through the dish and a metal grill brush bristle got lodged in my cheek as I was chewing. As I had only taken a few bites of the dish, I saw the manager and notified him of what I found in the dish, and that it might be time to switch out the grill brush they were using. The manager's only response was, "Man I bet that hurt. That really sucks". Not, let me make you a fresh one... or we'll take care of it on the check.. just, "that sucks". The rest of the dish went uneaten as I wasn't sure if there were more grill brush bristles in the dish. Not worth the trip to the ER when it gets lodged in my esophagus. Now the Fish Sandwich. After seeing delicious and large looking cuts of fish repeatedly coming out of the kitchen, I was excited to give this a try. Long story short... just order the almond crusted fish for a few dollars more. The measly and overcooked cut of fish in this sandwich was far overshadowed by the huge bun and toppings. The remoulade included was tasty however. The one star of the dish, the pasta salad, tasted fresh and was packed with flavor. I would not waste my money on this dish again..... extremely disappointing. The Ambience is really cool in here. There's usually live music... but the place is really small. They take every opportunity to pack as many tables in this place as possible. We, for example were sitting at a table three feet from the location the servers picked up from the kitchen. Servers trying to get the food out quickly continually bumped into our table, spilling our drinks and it was just overall very annoying. Would it really kill the establishment's bottom line to remove one table that completely interferes with servers just trying to do their job? I won't be coming back, but I do feel like my experience was probably in the minority of what people experience at this establishment. Just a really poor showing in all facets of my visit. We had a Bloody Mary & a Smokey pineapple margarita. So good. For appetizers we shared panko fried oysters served over a salad with greens, red onion, tomato, pineapple, honeydew & cantaloupe. Then a French onion soup with Gorgonzola cheese. This was so good and it changed the flavor profile to over the top. So good. My other half had a Mexican Torta with Milanese steak served with Mexican street corn salad. I had Caribbean jerk wahoo served with cheesy grits & a pineapple salad with greens, pineapple, melon, etc.... But different than the one served with the fried oysters. Just freeking wow!!! A nice little fish place that we visited not too long ago. The place was packed and they cram people into the space. If being VERY close to both your own party as well as all of the other people around you then this is probably not the place for you. Menu seems to change a lot which is good. They are known for their fish crusts, like sweet potato or yuca coconut. They also have a list of the daily catch. Unfortunately the night we went (a Saturday night at 7:30 pm), they were out of 4 of the 8 fish listed. That's not so good. I ended up getting a cup of soup (shrimp and rice) and the mahi fish tacos. Soup was excellent. Tacos? Yeah, not so much. They were fine. But if I want fine I'll go to a red Lobster. You shouldn't have to settle for fine. So definitely go with something else in the menu. Live music was also playing that night. They were very good but also loud. Dinner conversation was tough as we were sitting relatively close to the musicians. If you are in the area I would definitely say give them a chance. Hopefully they still have a lot of fish left over. read more

The staff were friendly and pretty attentive. I liked the char of the shrimp but the everyday plate was incredibly disappointing. Food was just slapped on the plate. No shape to the rice and the fish was broken. We got the combo protein and it was not worth it. One scallop... are you kidding me? The rice was also cool. I expected it to be as hot and fresh tasting as the dip but it disappointed. Alternatively the meal started great with scorching hot crab dip and fresh chips. We even asked for extra chips to finish the dip and it was free of charge. The ambiance was okay. It's a family friendly casual experience although the prices aren't inexpensive. This is a wonderful Fun filled restaurant with live music, open kitchen, and a bar with seats inside and out for dinner. The service is amazing and the food is even better. each time we have eaten at this place, we have left with a smile on our face. Started with the smoked fish dip one of their staples. Then had the TGIF special. Macadamia encrusted Grouper. They were 86 on the side, so we had the rice. each of us had a different dish but I loved mine the most. What a great vibe! The restaurant is decorated in a fun, beachy way. We arrived on a Saturday and had to wait. We found several seats at the bar and ordered cosmos. They were amazing. A little pricey but "what can I say"? I'm a cosmo snob so I really don't mind. Once we were seated, we ordered and everything came out amazing.
