They used to have a brick & mortar shop, but they now work from the back shed of their house. At first, I was hesitant when I saw that the business was in a residential neighborhood. When we pulled up, there was a "RM Leathers" sign on the mailbox and front door. I called and said I was there and the owner came out to meet me. I brought my husband because I wasn't sure what to expect, but when owner Teo opened the door, we realized that he's my husband's friend from soccer. Such a small world! Teo (pronounced tay-o -- Greek name), is SO sweet, efficient, and talented. He took only thirty minutes to sew the straps back on my backpack. He's affordable and you can call or text him to drop-off or pick-up items. Him and his wife run this business, creating leather jackets for motorcyclists. They attend a lot of conferences around the country to mend leather for these riders. It was such an unexpectedly great experience and I've already recommended him to a few friends! He has a sweet family and I love giving my money to deserving people like this fam!

I live in Chicago and went to three leather specialists who told me there was no hope. I called Frye and they said there's nothing that can be done w/o ruining the leather (seriously your boots are $500 and you can't help me - but that's another story). A friend told me about RM Leathers and I happened to be going to Indy for the holidays. Teo & Liz are true professionals and won't steer you wrong. Teo was very thorough in explaining that they'd clean and treat the stain - my boots are BEAUTIFUL - no stain! And their prices are very reasonable - they saved my boots when others told me it was a lost cause.

I knew I had to visit his local shop in Noblesville to see what else he had to offer. Although this is a newer business and there wasn't a lot in the store, I was still amazed by all the handmade concoctions for beard oils, lotions, soaps, etc. My husband thanked me for making him aware of this place and he said that he would no longer buy the oils he was used to buying online and would now shop at the Rugged Company. Support local! There are leather cuffs, t-shirts, art, etc in this eclectic space. You have to go just to see all the great stuff he has, not to mention his homemade coffee. I'm excited to see what else he has up his sleeves and to see more inventory in his store as the months go by. Go check out The Rugged Company - your man will thank you! :)

Absolutely saved my beard, moisturized my skin, and helped maintain the craziness when the weather would get the best of my hair (extremely curly hair that prefers to afro at the slightest hint of humidity). I trust the product because its all been human tested by the owner himself! LOVE the fact that it is locally made here in Indiana and the love for all things local is EXTREMELY evident by watching and listening to everything this company does. Would recommend 100% for any beard.
