I knew I had to visit his local shop in Noblesville to see what else he had to offer. Although this is a newer business and there wasn't a lot in the store, I was still amazed by all the handmade concoctions for beard oils, lotions, soaps, etc. My husband thanked me for making him aware of this place and he said that he would no longer buy the oils he was used to buying online and would now shop at the Rugged Company. Support local! There are leather cuffs, t-shirts, art, etc in this eclectic space. You have to go just to see all the great stuff he has, not to mention his homemade coffee. I'm excited to see what else he has up his sleeves and to see more inventory in his store as the months go by. Go check out The Rugged Company - your man will thank you! :)

The store definitely smelled stale, but some of the items were clearly new. The style of clothing was outdated, in my opinion, but they did have a nice selection of shoes. The main issue that I had was that the used, non-designer shoes were overpriced. I didn't see anything under $29.90. The staff didn't acknowledge us on our way in or on our way out. These 12 year old Iron Rangers 8111 have seen some things, but I brought them in for a re sole with Traction Tred and the results were outstanding. They estimated the work would take 8 to 10 weeks, and somehow returned them to me in just 5 weeks. Faster than the Kessel Run and twice as satisfying. The boots came back cleaned, refreshed, and looking incredible while keeping all the hard earned character they built over the years. The new soles make a huge difference. They are more comfortable, have excellent grip, and feel like the boots leveled up without losing their identity. This is what proper craftsmanship looks like. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly knew their craft. If your Red Wings are in need of a second life, this is the place to bring them. The Force is strong with this store. I saw the shirt right away but was drawn all the way to the back with all the color and perfectly curated racks! They even offer Free People now which is an added bonus! Not only are the clothes organized and neatly displayed, the entire shop is clutter free! It's refreshing to be able to walk around a boutique and not get caught on a rack everywhere you turn! And the staff is pretty awesome too! They are super responsive on social media and so willing to share their knowledge of the clothes and upcoming events! I've already been back again!
