Chris came out and gave me an estimate that was very reasonable, so I gave them the job. Originally we were schedufd for Monday but they had an opening today. Chris blew off my roofs as well. My trees look great! I highly recommend Hamilton Tree Service for your tree work. I will definitely use them again.

Despite not being the cheapest quote, I decided to go with Bryan, and he showed up exactly on time, 8:30am, he did exactly what we agreed to, and did it to an expert degree. I couldn't be happier with First Coast Tree. They ended up taking down a large palm that was leaning over my neighbors fence/pool. They cleared out a second tree in the front yard and then removed a huge bush line. They left the area looking cleaned up, and all in all, was a 10 out of 10 job. I will absolutely hire them again in the future.

Oaks, pecans, hickory's, magnolias, and hundreds of azaleas to trim back. I'm picky. Most of the visits to my home have taken more than a day to complete. JEA sent an arborist out (at Bryan's request) one time because the canopies reached over their power lines. Both companies (JEA and First Coast) worked together for a couple of days to clear limbs away from the power lines. I try to wait for the winter months when all the leaves are down. Cheaper for me cause there's usually truckloads of waste to haul off. He's usually spent time walking the property and telling me what he thought ought to be done. He's conscientious about not wanting to kill an old tree that has shade and life left. If diseased, he'll try to shape around it so I can get a few more years out of them. When it's time to take out a bad one, he's done that too. When there's stump grinding involved, for me that's always been a huge tree we had to take down. He's always outsourced someone else that only does stump grinding and told me that's a separate company and I'll have to pay that person. He might have a grinder for little stuff, I don't know. He's never taken down anything little for me. I would recommend this company.

I had 5 arborists come and bid the job, and they were very nervous, and the price was pretty high. First Choice didn't bat an eye, and their bid was the lowest by several hundred dollars. At first, I was very hesitant to accept such a low offer; but I used some AI tools to analyze comments and reviews across several sites, and the only negative comment found was that they once removed the "wrong" tree. I decided to give them a chance, and I was VERY pleased. These guys are no joke. They did a fantastic job from start to finish. I will definitely hire them again and will be recommending them to anyone who needs some tree-work done.

YELP saves again…read more Racking up leaves can be great exercise but it gets old quick when temps from under 60 and it's raining every other day. And I was more then tired of clearly leaves from the car every morning. Time to cut/trim down some trees. Could have tired Angie's list - but I think Yelp's word of mouth works so much better. After creating a list, I start calling around. Most places were OK on the phone. This place was GREAT. Great customer service: Was clueless on what needed to be done. Talked with Brian and he said he would come to the home, look around and leave an itemized typed up list in the mail of things that needed to be addressed, cost, and a time frame for the completion. He initially called late Wednesday morning, and confirmed he'd be out later that same day. He then calls to let me know that he has sent the list out in the mail. Great communication and great cost! Great employees: Sometimes in services industries the face of the company is pleasant but the crews are much less. Not the case, every person worked efficiently and with a pleasant demeanor. Clearly Brian trust his crews and knows he has quality people working under him. There was no harsh words, or smoking, etc. Completely professional staff. Service: Brian and his crew worked beautiful throughout the day Thursday. Arrive before 9 and working through the rain and cold weather. The sun had set but still they continued working. They were forced to return to complete the job but it was a BEAUTIFUL job. We can finally see the sun!
