They started at 7:30 and were done w/ the tree by 11 and done grinding the stump by around 11:15-11:30. Everyone was incredibly nice and professional. I have 2 more trees that I need cut down and I'm 100% using Arbor for them. They were very fair and very trustworthy. There was a board that broke on my privacy fence...not their fault. The fence is beyond needing repair, but they replaced the board as well. They hauled everything away and even picked up the smaller limbs and twigs. Plus the elimination of a small diseased Bay tree. I called Young's Tree Service as a new customer. From my initial meeting with Shawn Young the owner, I was confident that they were very competent. They are licensed and insured and Shawn's wife is a certified arborist. The two man crew arrived at 8 am the very next morning and got right to work. They were very competent and answered whatever questions I had and verified with me the scope of work and whether I approved of the way they were trimming. They had all the required tools and equipment for the job. My wife and I are very happy with the work completed and feel we were charged fairly. We met Alex, the owner when he drove by our yard and saw us struggling to take down a rotten tree. He gave us such a reasonable quote, we could not say no. It turns out that he's done tree work for several of our friends and they have all had the same great experience. Alex and his crew texts when they're on their way and show up on time. He has all of the equipment of a big tree company without the overhead so he's able to give a very reasonable quote. He's also extremely honest and let us know that several of the trees we had thought to take down were actually healthy and would bloom come spring time. The entire crew was exceedingly polite - not only to me but to each other. There was no swearing and no yelling and no texting on the job. I was happy to see that everyone had hardhats and safety harnesses when necessary. And, there were no cigarette butts laying around at the end of the day which was a pleasant surprise - no one smokes on the job - even better. Alex gives an honest estimate and sticks to it.
