I recently went into Lees Nail salon for a shellac manicure and a pedicure. First off, the staff is AMAZING! They accommodated me as soon as I walked in the door with welcoming friendly smile. Even though they were super busy they still made sure I was fully comfortable and attended to at all times. They helped me pick out a perfect polish color that complimented me and also offered me a water or soda to drink. They showed me their pedicure options and made all of their prices (very affordable) clear to me. The young lady who did my pedicure was very friendly and talked to me about my life, family, events coming up; she was very friendly and didn't make it seem like she was just trying to get me out of the way. My pedicure was absolutely amazing and super relaxing. I felt brand new. Next, I had another lady accommodate me for my shellac mani. She too, went above and beyond making me feel special and welcome. My shellac lasted almost a whole month before one minor chip! I was absolutely amazed by this place! The most perfect salon a woman could find! On a side note, I would like to make a reference to a comment made below about a woman spilling polish on her dress. One, I am very sorry for your dress. On the other hand, me being the owner of a restaurant myself, I would say that if one of my waitresses were to deliver a glass of red wine to a table and the customer were to then spill that wine on their new dress, I would not compensate the customer for their dress or service. One, considering that the customer spilled the wine themselves has nothing to do with our service, but also, it is unfortunately not our responsibility. By the way, she does state the service was good and staff was friendly. I think this was just someone who had a bad night and was trying to get something in return for an accident they caused themselves. Talk about an amazing Manicure, pedicure., and waxing service. My gel manicure looks incredible. They had over thousands of colors to choose from regular, gel, dipping powder, Chrome, cat eye... etc... they have so much choices to choose from. They were super busy when I came in, but I decided to schedule an appointment to come back. Boy was I glad I did! Well worth the wait to come back. They took me in for my appointment time and was super accommodating and professional. Pedicure: I was offer a beverage before starting. They had so much pedicures to choose from. I love the champagne and rose one. It smells and feel oh so heavily. I have to try they herbal and mayo next time through. Sounds very nice. My pedicure was not rush and my tech was very attentive to details. My massage was just the right about of pressure that I could have just fall asleep. Manicure: I had a different technician do my manicure and she was also very sweet and good. My gel manicure lasted over 3 weeks! I was very impress. I think my tech name was Jen. Jen also did my eyebrows and man did she do a good job at cleaning them up and shaping them. I was very please. Need to say my experience was above and beyond. The technicians at this salon know how to make jokes, have fun, and at the same time do their job. Well done ladies! Thanks for a wonderful time! The staff is absolutely amazing! The pedicure chair was absolutely nice. My pedicure and shellac nails lasted for a month without chipping and I do a lot of yard work along with washing dishes etc... They have so much shellac colors to choose from. Never seen a salon with that much gel colors before. I was very impress. The fact that they guaranteed there shellac for two weeks make it even better. If I was to come back to other nail salon they would have just charge me to fix it. I don't expect regular polish to last that long just because it depends on every person.... It was just so nice and relaxing to come to a salon that has English speaking staff along with great customer service. I been to a lot of nail salon in Charlottesville and I can tell you a lot of them have no customer service at all. If this place has bad customer service... Please tell me which nail salon has better customer service ?... The price was very cheap and the outcome was awesome! I will be recommending all my friends and family to this place. Looking at the comment below I'm wondering how can you sit in a chair that massages your butt and have butt pain or yet walk out. I have been going to Lee's Nails for years and they have always been super clean and paid very close attention to details. I had no worries going into their salon following the VA Phase 1 openings. I called and made an appointment prior. The employee I spoke with on the phone gave me a clear outline of their policy and how they are handling social distancing and protecting customers/employees. When I arrived I called them from my car to let them know I was present, they gave me the okay to come in, I donned my mask, was warmly greeted by employees wearing masks and gloves, and shown to the sink to thoroughly wash my hands. Then I was able to choose a color and begin my service. Lee's has brand new equipment and even plexiglass shields hung between customer/employee stations. I was the only customer present during my pedicure. Another customer came in at the very end, but they were seated a good distanced away from me. I am so impressed with how Lee's Nails has responded to the Phase 1 openings and how great their communication has been. I hope other salons are implementing the appropriate precautions as well! read more

I am going to have to disagree on Stacy B review of this nail salon. I personally thought this nail salon had excellent service and my Manicure and Pedicure was amazing! The paint job was excellent and they even got my ingrown out with out hurting me. The staff was super nice and pleasant and the environment was relaxing. My shellac lasted for about three weeks and it was incredible. I have been to a lot of nail salon around here and this one was one of the cleanest that I have seen. To top if off they have the most polish selection I have ever seen in gel and regular. It just don't make sense how you said the guy was hangover yet you still let him continue the pedicure on you. If it was me I would ask for another technician. Just pointing out the obvious. To which it's own I guess but I would definitely recommend Lee's Nails to anyone looking for a clean, sanitary, and relaxing nail salon with great customer service. Came in yesterday for a pedicure with two of my best friend and we all really enjoy it. They were super busy so we made an appointment and came back at a later time. It was well worth the wait. Love the fact that they are more of a natural salon, which means no odor. The salon was very relaxing and clean and that what I really look forward to when I go to a spa. There are plenty of nail salons in every bit of town but this one really stand out. They are clean, odor free, and they the staff was very friendly. I have been to many salons around here, and none of them are clean. So just for the odor free and clean salon I will be back. I'm pretty sure they can't please everyone, but realisticly if you compare this salon to a nearby salon you would really enjoy this place. Lee's Nails is beyond incredible. The team working in the Salon is professional, they take their time with their customers, and they are very skilled. I've patronized Lee's Nails on multiple occasions, prior to COVID19 and during COVID19, and am pleased to say that the only downside I've experienced is that it takes a little longer between customers as they work to properly clean and sanitize each station - though given the pandemic, I'm more than happy to wait in my car until it's my turn to ensure that everyone is as safe as possible during these stressful times. Julie's team has always worked hard to make each and every customer feel pampered, and they continue to do that during COVID19. Best nail salon in Charlottesville!! Treated myself to a Special Spa Pedicure today and it was AMAZING! The girl that did my feet did a really nice job with my cuticle and callus at the bottom of my feet. They took their time and really paid attention to details.I never got the concept of people coming to a salon and wanting a pedicure to be super fast.... I came to relax,and they are more then welcome to take all the time they need. Lee's was clean and the staff was super friendly. After my pedicure I also decided to do a Shellac manicure. That was probably on of the best gel manicure I had done around this area. I absolutely love this place and so glad I stumble upon it today. Hands down the best place for a manicure/pedicure I have been to in Charlottesville VA. They are super friendly and the place smells clean and looks clean. They even had their tools autoclave. Lee's have a enormous collections of shellac gel polish to choose from. My pedicure was awesome and my gel manicure lasted three weeks with no chips. The prices were very cheap for the high quality services i receive. I also notice that the salon doesn't have that horrible odor smell like majority nail salons you walk in to. They also have a well balance diversity of staff there as well. I usually don't write reviews but this place definitely earn it. Awesome place! Clean enviroment! Great Service! Natural Nails! One of the better nail salon in Charlottesville. There are a lot of nail salon in Charlottesville, but some of them are just so old and nasty that I will never step foot back in. I was pretty please with Lee's Nails. They were friendly and my shellac manicure and pedicure was done in a timely manner. I was not rush and it turned out beautiful. I had look at some reviews about this salon beforehand and it was well worth checking out. Every place is going to have a bad review because everyone is not always satisfy, but I would definitely still try it out before I make a decision rather if the statement was written truly. I been going to this nail salon for almost a year now and they have exceptional customer service. My shellac stayed on for three weeks and my pedicure has always been wonderful. There are a lot of nail salons in Charlottesville but this is definitely one of the cleanest that I have been too. I try City Spa, Nice Nails, K's, and that new Lotus Nail salon and they all didn't seem quite as nice as this one. Most nail salon starts off very clean and friendly but they eventually goes down hill from then. Hopefully this new salon can keep up there maintenance. Pros: clean, inexpensive, job pretty well done, friendly nail specialists Room for improvement: the TV should be removed and replaced w/ relaxing music. The TV was loud and stressful while I was looking for a quiet and calming experience. To the extent possible under the lease, the bright fluorescent lighting should be replaced with dimmer, or more focused or ambient lighting. Sitting in the pedicure chair, the light was too bright to really relax, and along w/ the TV, it just made for a stressful environment. Lastly, the nail specialist did not do a good job of cleaning the chemicals off my feet and calves before moving onto manicure and departure. read more

This is place is amazing! Great, friendly people, who know what they are doing. They run a clean shop, and I won't get my nails, or toenails done anywhere else! I get tons of compliments on their work, and send anyone who asks me about them to Lee's Nails. As a single mom, this place is a mini vacation, but my daughter also enjoys coming with me to get pampered too, on occasion. Give them a try and you'll be just as hooked as I am! I've been going to Lee's since they opened, and I have never been disappointed. I go at least once a month for a gel pedicure and a SNS dip mani. Both hold up beautifully to the wear and tear that being a nurse puts on them. I'm on my feet for 13 hours at a time in Danskos and my pedi never chips. As far as my mani, I usually have to go back for a color change due to nail growth before the mani even shows signs of wear. I'm always treated as one of the crew while I am there. The facilities are clean, and all of the tools are brought out of sterile packaging before use. read more

Best Nail Salon In Town! Lee's is clean and the staff are super friendly. They did an amazing job on my shellac gel manicure. My manicure lasted over two weeks. My pumpkin spa pedicure was the bomb! My Shellac turn out great! I got it done before the snow blizzard and they still look really good! I believe the owner did my nails and she was very good! Everyone there is really good! I love Lorena for my pedicure. She is so sweet and very attentive to details. Try this place out if you are looking for a clean and friendly enviroment. Fabulous experience! My sns Full Set was awesome and very pretty. My coconut and lime pedicure was also amazing. They have an abundant selection of reg, gel, and dip colors to choose from. The salon is super clean and the air was crisp and clean. No odor smell, which I love. The salon was modern looking with nice relaxing massaging chairs. I drive almost 2 hours from my home in Bath County to get my nails done here. The salon is clean and inviting. All the manicurists are skilled but I have my favorite (Ashley) with whom I schedule two weeks in advance to make sure I can get the date and time I want. The is busy, but not too busy to do a great job. No one rushes you and my mani/pedi's get lots of compliments. I love the Shellac products, but they do it all. And the pedicures are a real treat.
