Yay I get a coupon for almost dying

Omg I have survived Covid twice, preeclampsia in a geriatric pregnancy, a gun to the head all of that just to be took out by a damn salty ass chicken sandwich, that chicken sandwich and tenders was a 30 minute wait just to send me damn near to my maker. Thanking God for sparing my life once again. Fast food is not always the quick fix you need

    4 Chicken Wings

I was hungry for chicken and was in the Lima area so I figured I'd stop here. It had quite a line but it moved quickly. I asked if they had the new chicken sandwich because I'd received a couple emails about it and wanted to try. They did so I ordered that along with the 4 wings meal and some sides. I ordered the rice and beans and actually liked them. I've only ever tried them at Popeyes and thought theirs was terrible or that I just didn't like rice and beans. I do like them from Lee's. The "new" chicken sandwich was two chicken strips on a bun. I'm not sure why I've gotten emails about that ‍ I didn't eat the bun because my attempt to eat while driving resulted in a mess. It was chicken strips. They're good, but it's not a sandwich that's going to compete with other chicken places. The cole slaw was terrific, thank goodness! If it wasn't good I'd never go back to another Lee's again, it would have been my tipping point. Imagine my disappointment though when I get home and see the ridiculousness of these "wings". The biscuit in the picture isn't large but it's bigger than any of the wings. They're the size of an infants hand, if I'm being generous. If you're in an area that this is your only option I can see being stuck with eating here. But in an area with a lot of options, I'd definitely choose one of those. I won't be back to this location.

Iced Large Unsweet Tea and chicken!

Great meal after a long day! The family meals are the best:) I've never had tea from a bag, but that iced tea was great! Perhaps there could have been a few more fries in each box, but overall the serving size was just right. I just loved that coleslaw, it was sweet but not too sweet:) The overall service was great...we tried stopping at the other location here in Lima, but it was chaos. The remodel/updates in the dining area give such a welcoming atmosphere. There is plenty of room, especially for families. By the way, you just have to get one of their biscuits; they are sooo tasty!

Such rude employees. Pointing and laughing at people who didn't know there was no dine in eating And trying the door. Disgraceful.

I know there are Lee's outside of Lima, and they suck, but for some reason the ones in Lima are really good.

My wife and I, with our children, have been weekly regulars here, sometimes coming in twice a week…read moreon the weekends. Our absolute favorite has been the Burgers & Brew night on Wednesdays and Thursdays, specifically since they rolled out the smash burgers a few months back. They are easily some of the best in the area. The tabletop adverts and menus clearly state "$9.99 ANY Burger." Now, we're reasonable people. When we order the Double Smash, it usually rings up around $12.99 or $13.99. Even though the ad explicitly says "ANY" burger, we never complained about paying a few bucks extra for the double patty because it made sense. But last Thursday was a completely different story. When the bill came, both of our double smash burgers were charged at the full regular menu price of $16.99 each. When I questioned our waitress about it, she casually told me, "Yes, the doubles are always regular price and aren't included in the special." Excuse me? This "little side note" is absolutely nowhere on the menu, the flyers, or the Burger & Brew adverts sitting right on the tables. The ad literally says "ANY burger." We weren't even expecting to get them for $9.99--we just expected the $12.99-$13.99 upcharge we've been paying for months! To completely pull the special out from under us with zero warning or menu notation is just sneaky. It's incredibly frustrating to get nickeled and dimed when you're loyal customers. Out of principle, this bait-and-switch pricing left such a bad taste in our mouths that our weekly visits are officially over. Plenty of other places in the area value their regulars more than this. P.S. We didn't just rush to blast them online, either. We tried contacting their customer service message system through both the app and the website on three separate occasions. Every single time, we got an automated response promising someone would get back to us within 3 days. It's now been 8 days. Dead silence. Incredible "customer service."

I love the no-frills vibe of the venue, staff and customers. My first impression? Dark! I arrived at noon:30 because a passing acquaintance mentioned Lombardo's having the best BPTS. The staff and regulars numbered five and were bantering about nothing at high decibel. I sat at the bar and grabbed a menu. It is a perfectly useful, simple, no-frills list of food and prices. The bartender/waitress was a tad slow to engage this newcomer, but finally got around to taking my order and delivering a glass of water. My second impression? Still dark. The BPTS arrived after the usual wait and was hot from the fryer. It comes with nothing, but the usual garnishes are available for an up-charge that seems a tad rich. $1 for a slice of winter tomato? Pass. $1 for a slice of cheese? Pass. $1 for a slice of onion? Pass. The bun was fresh and the pickle spear was beginning to trend from crisp and crunchy towards a hint of limp. I enjoyed the porky goodness and flashbacks to my childhood BPTS memories. Will I return? Probably. I hope that the kitchen will do breakfast-for-lunch. I am also curious about their hamburger ... $3.50, but the double hamburger is more than 2x the regular burger. What's with that?
