I ordered the number 7 chicken breast combo with Mac and cheese and cole slaw and a biscuit and drink. It was excellent! The chicken breast was hot, moist and tender. The slaw was sweet and creamy. Mac and cheese was good and the biscuit would melt in your mouth. I went at lunch time and they were busy, but it was worth the extra wait. Friendly service. I'll be back again for sure. read more

In the land of covid 19 carry out chicken options we find Lee's, a long time chain chicken joint just to the west of Amelia. Lee's is kind of like KFC. They sell fried chicken and sides. The usual chicken parts and breast strips, mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, cold slaw, green beans, etc. In the winter they also have a really good chicken pot pie. Seasonal only. Today we ordered strips, mashed potatoes and green beans. The carry out line moved rather quickly (a big deal these days). The traditional strips were a bit tough maybe overcooked. The potatoes were quite hot and good. Green beans were fine not stringy. Staff is kind of interesting. Older ladies who enjoy their smoke breaks. All in all, not bad. read more

Just moved to area from Indianapolis and wanted to try something I was familiar with. Food was extremely poor. Gizzards were hours old and chicken wings were very small and cold. MAN has this place gone downhill. Have not had it in 20 years so I stopped in the other day and had some. In search of old fashion fried chicken I tried Lee's. I was surprised! Think it was a lot better than KFC. Nice portions and crispy. The sides was nice portions and very tasty. The biscuits was fantastic - hot and I had honey and butter with them...yum, yum. Very reasonably priced. They had a drive-thru but I went inside. I think it has been years since I heard someone say "thank you for coming and come back again". Very nice staff. The interior is not fancy but the food is what counted here. read more

Well, if we weren't almost to Cincinnati I would've turned around and went back. I asked for unsweetened tea and even double checked at the window when the uncaring teenager handed me my tea if it was unsweetened and she assured me that it was unsweetened. I don't like sweet tea and do not want to drink it. So now I'm sitting in the car almost to Cincinnati and have only disgusting sweet tea to drink. So annoyed! I should've know not to trust them when they told me that they had no legs and instead gave me two thighs. I ordered a leg and thigh. I said okay, but what else would I have said. Not butter or salt and pepper given either. Apparently, you would have to specifically ask for those things too. Good thing I asked for a fork or I would've had to eat my mashed potatoes with my fingers while in the car. Seeming how I was ordering in the drive thru, one would've thought that they'd give you everything you'd need, or at the very least what I ordered! Unimpressed with their customer service. Where to start?! The corn on the cob was mushy and chewy, which wasn't part of our order to begin with. We asked for a side of baked beans and got rubbery corn. We asked for a side of cole slaw and got......you guessed it, rubbery corn. Our one order of a two piece with a breast and leg came with 2 tenders along with a breast, a thigh and a wing. Really?? When we called that evening a manager told us that she was headed out the door but would be back in the morning and to call her then about our displeasure. Since we were hungry, we choked down what "food" was correct and tossed the rest. The next morning we called back only to have a different manager tell us that last night's manager didn't really work there and in order to be compensated we would have to drive 40 minutes round trip, probably wait in line for another half hour (like we did when we got our so called food the evening before) and that we would have to bring the food back to be believed. The corporate response was just as unhelpful and disappointing. We will definitely not go back to this Lee's location and after eating at a dirty Lee's in Kettering, OH, we may never eat at Lee's ever again. read more
