Chicken was burnt, customer service was not what I expected... smh

Burnt chicken food was not all that. Customer service sucks. I will make this the last place to go to.

Curried goat

Small, Hole-in-the-wall with BIG flavor!! Curried goat was fire!! Plantain was great! Portions were huge! The beef patties were excellent! A must try if you like Caribbean food! My only issue is I would have had to wait too long for shrimp!

Large Oxtail. Always delicious.

The food is always great. Love the cook. Oxtails, jerk chicken, curry chicken, goat on point.

Salt Ackee and Saltfish Breakfast with Callaloo

I came in wanting to try the stew fish but since that wasn't available I went to another favorite. When I opened my container I thought that it wasn't a lot of food but by time I finished it was more than enough. When I tell you that salt fish and Ackee was bursting with flavor, literally it goes right in 'the best I've ever had' category.' Same for the Callaloo. And the ground food was on that melt in your mouth tip . The festival was so absolutely delicious, that I had to fight the fat girl in me not to get some to go. Just delightful dining on a chill Sunday Afternoon. Definitely will be back.

Service is always awesome with a smile don't forget to ask for the hot pepper sauce it's spicy. food is just amazing can't wait to come back again. Gonna try the Jerk next time . Rock on Lee's G

Jerk Chicken, Festival cabbage and rice/beans

Looking from the outside this place is a bit sketchy. I'm not going to lie I was nervous about getting out. The service was good and the food was very authentic. The jerk chicken was a little spicy for me but very good. You know it was spicy, if I said it was spicy, because I love me some spicy food.

Large Oxtail Dinner

Food had a burnt flavor, oxtail was dry and had no gravy. Festival was stale and soggy. Paid $47 for this. Never again

Ok so I had a taste for some Caribbean food and I stopped at this place and lord hammercy them flavors was on point! This is a spot in Inglewood tucked away in the corner of the shopping center. The gentleman at counter was friendly and share a little bit about his Caribbean culture. I ordered stew chicken, rice and beans, and plantains ! Yes, I will be back..... delicious.. a plate full of food enough for lunch and dinner!

I got the Jerk Chicken lunch. The jerk sauce didn't taste right. It was salty and sour. I won't be returning. $18 waste.

Yes... you read that right, check in process. We live up the street and it was our first time trying this spot to finally see what the buzz was about. I paid for the food using Apple Pay and had my husband pick it up. I did read that when picking up, you need to have a matching ID and the CC used to pay. So I sent my husband with both. The security who checks you in gave him such a hard time about it and denied his entrance because it needs to be the same name as the person on the receipt! So I had to go. I arrived, parking is difficult to find although it's in a residential area. So after I showed him my ID, CC, and Email confirmation, he then has to write down all this info from your email?? He said the last 4 digits didn't match my CC, so I let him know I paid with Apple Pay. He then asked me to open my Apple Pay App to then look at the history?! The food is good and flavorful , but in LA, you can find that elsewhere without all the hassle. We will not be going back, that's for sure. Hope I can save someone a trip if they're traveling far for this to pick up for a friend or spouse.

The festival was super delicious, though a very tiny portion (one one mini size). The veggie mix was perfectly seasoned and tasty. The rice and peas could have used a little more salt (or some Creole season lol), but it was still really good. Overall, this plate was soooo worth the 40-minute drive. I paired it with a Reggae Medley Tropical Rhythms, a yummy juice drink similar to Tampico, but even better. Customer service was fast and welcoming. We sat at the bar and interacted with the beautiful and friendly bartender and servers and folks from the kitchen. We ordered all of our food at once, but had it come out as it was ready, I enjoyed every exquisite morsel. My only regret was that I couldn't stay longer. I had to scoot on out of there to make my red-eye flight out of LAX and they accommodated my rush. And despite the inexplicable traffic, I made it there and through to the gate in good time. An old coworker and I linked to catch up -- and of course, food was involved We started with the sample platter (panades, garnaches, and salbutes), and baby... everything was flavorful. A solid start. For my entrée, I got the stew chicken with rice and beans and plantains -- classic, comforting, and done right. My friend ordered the sautéed shrimp in coconut milk, and you already know I had to taste that too. Her official review: "The shrimp was super flavorful and cooked perfectly. The rice was sliiiightly undercooked, but still fire -- 8/10." The service? Great. Our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed -- even reminded us about the spicy slaw (which would've been a crime to miss). Prices are reasonable, and there's plenty of metered parking nearby. If you're in the area and haven't stopped by yet... you're tripping. I'll definitely be back soon.
