    Little Belize Menu, inside.

The welcoming spirit and customer service is always a plus-pleasant, fast, but the food is the star here. I love their fish Panades. I usually get that alone or the sampler with Salbutes vegetarian style. My son loves the Oxtail Mac + Cheese and their fresh juices are superb. There's also a neighborhood vibe with culture flowing through this restaurant. They always do us right!

Alright, I was missing home a lot and needed to have the sense of being back in Belize, so while I was out in California spending a weekend with my partner I wanted to have her try this place with me too unfortunately we lost track of time at the aquarium that we didn't had time to sit down and eat but we got it the next day in the way to the airport to drop me off. What I got from here was 2 plates of rice and beans with stew chicken that came with the side of plantains her side had the potato salad while I got the Cole slaw. When you open the container wow the smell of it smell like home and so good! The chicken was tender and the meat was falling off the bone when peeling ! I also got the Salbutes and my oh my that was amazing full of flavor. Next time got to get the village tacos been missing it and the garnachas !

Submitted my order at 1:36pm on a Sunday (per the email notification) 1. Oxtail 1. Stew Beef and a few desserts, $73, once all said and done nearly $100....order was dropped off at 3:59pm (per email notification). I had communication with the Door Dash Driver (DDD) after 2pm ish who discovered the order not ready as expected and would take an additional 45 mins, no issue for me, a Sunday afternoon being busy not a surprise. Then I was told by the DDD that they were advised I cancelled the beef order, I had not, I said IF they had run out that was one thing but no I had not cancelled, the DDD asked if I wanted chicken instead, then suggested I call directly, I did. A woman answered the phone and said my name, that made me feel good. I ok'd chicken as they had run out of the beef. The order arrived, surprised to see two ox tail dinners, one with plantain, I specifically noted NO PLANTAIN, and yet there it was. Luckily plantains aren't on our families allergy list (long list), we just don't enjoy them. Not sure how to feel, the Mac & Cheese is not good, the oxtail I sampled was very tender and the extra gravy I ordered was necessary. Originally on the fence I'm now off and it's a sadly it is no for me. The DDD, ANNISHA, was great, attentive and responsive. I do appreciate the customer service I received when I called, the woman who answered the phone was aware of the issue and attended to the issue. Although the lemon pie is tasty, the coconut tart dry, I feel I wasted $100, total cost including tip.

The food here was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING !! Very authentic! portion size was great ! Service amazing ! Don't let the 3.6 star review deter you. Had to be someone who doesn't know what good food tastes like . If you're in Inglewood , EAT HERE!!!

Fry Jack & Eggs Scrambled With Tomatoes & Onions

I usually get the eggs with tomatoes & onion with fry jack and a side of panades. If you're not used to Belizean food, just know they make everything from scratch, so there's a bit of a wait, but the food is always so good!!! And they usually play Garifuna/Caribbean music, so I love sitting, dining, and giving to songs. The staff are always so kind too. I've brought some non Belizean friends here too, and they love it as well!!

I absolutely loved this place- I wish I lived here! The place was quaint but perfect, playing Caribbean music. Hortance and the staff were kind and attentive. The service was great. Now the food.... Let me tell You! If I could rent a few extra stomachs I would! The meat pie, salbutes and the Mac and cheese with oxtail was fire!!!!! I will not hesitate to recommend this place and and return as often as I can- matter of fact lemme Call in sick and head there tonight Thanks For sharing your wonderful culture and food with us!

I really enjoyed the food. Takes a little while for the food to come out. Not traditional baked Mac and cheese but it is seasoned well. The oxtails were the stars!! Everything was pretty good. Do prepare to have a full belly! Definitely try the rum punch!

    Rice and peas
    cece ..

So I had the curry shrimp, with rice and peas on the side. This wasn't my first time here but my first time eating this, this cost close to 30 bucks kinda on the pricey side for the portion. The staff is very friendly th restaurant is clean and gives an island feel. This place is located in downtown Inglewood. The curry shrimp was a bit disappointing it was spicy but no real curry flavor I could taste and the shrimp were small. The rice and peas were dry. I'm actually shocked because other dishes I tried were pretty good. Maybe this time wasn't a good day but I still highly recommend, just not the curry shrimp.

Why did my meatballs have egg shells in them? . Stew MeatBalls
    Violet R.

Why did my meatballs have egg shells in them! Eww!! Slow down people! Also, the meatballs were too spicy and the best part was the rice and beans. The place is in a good location but if the food ain't right I ain't going back. Sorry!

    Marianne L.

Such a delicious restaurant! We received a warm greeting on a Saturday afternoon around 2pm. We decided to sit outside to people watch and enjoy the weather. We started with some rum punch and ordered a few classics. The whole fried red snapper is amazing as well as their sides and appetizers. The potato salad is sooo good with the fish and plantains. We'll be back for sure.

    A very flat tasteless ducunu
    Arilee B.

This is the reason I don't care to spend my money on Belizean food. This is supposed to be a ducunu. Spent $38 on mediocre food. Ordered oxtails with rice and beans and a ducunu.

Yes... you read that right, check in process. We live up the street and it was our first time trying this spot to finally see what the buzz was about. I paid for the food using Apple Pay and had my husband pick it up. I did read that when picking up, you need to have a matching ID and the CC used to pay. So I sent my husband with both. The security who checks you in gave him such a hard time about it and denied his entrance because it needs to be the same name as the person on the receipt! So I had to go. I arrived, parking is difficult to find although it's in a residential area. So after I showed him my ID, CC, and Email confirmation, he then has to write down all this info from your email?? He said the last 4 digits didn't match my CC, so I let him know I paid with Apple Pay. He then asked me to open my Apple Pay App to then look at the history?! The food is good and flavorful , but in LA, you can find that elsewhere without all the hassle. We will not be going back, that's for sure. Hope I can save someone a trip if they're traveling far for this to pick up for a friend or spouse.
