Amazing, honest and fast service! I brought my brand new car in and Eric buffed out a large scratch and made it look almost like new.

We were referred to Lee's by the owner of a Novato exhaust shop, and a friend who had collision repair work done by Lee's in the previous year yielding excellent results. That Lee's has been a family owned business since 1969 also appealed to us. He worked with us on pricing and completion time frame unlike the other shops we approached. Many of the shops that big corporations have bought and integrated into their corporate structure, only care about the bottom line - top dollar amount at all cost - no exceptions. I called to schedule an appointment for an estimate with with owner Eric Schleth's wife-Annie, 1 week after the collision in June 2025. Annie is personality plus, and a welcome conversationalist given the lost art of conversation in the age of social media and texting . She addressed my initial concerns regarding cost, procedure, and time frame. Eric - also a congenial conversationalist - and I then went on to discuss the technical details of the necessary repairs, acquisition, and availability of parts/material required. Availability was the first obstacle - the damaged bumper and urethane cover for our model year and make were no longer available. The only inconvenience was that Eric needed additional time to instead repair the bumper ass'y and urethane cover that other collision shops would have chosen not to address. The end result was stellar, to say the least. It was worth the wait! Friends and family now comment that our 20+ year old vehicle looks like a new car! Anyone inquiring about a reputable collision shop for paint or body work will be referred to Lee's hands down. Thank you, Eric, you knocked it right out of the ball park! read more

I can't say enough about how good Lee's Body Shop is. I was unable to find a body shop willing to do a repair in my hometown for my RAM Promaster custom van to have a bit of body damage repaired. It seems that custom vans are a bit more difficult to work on. Lee's Body Shop didn't blink an eye and was able to repair the damage quickly and competently and at a very good price. Although I hope I don't need body work anytime soon, I will absolutely return to Lee's Body Shop if needed. read more

I want everyone to know, if you're looking for a body shop, look NO further! Not only are they good guys with an unassuming shop that make you feel comfortable, and know they are honest, but their talents are absolutely amazing, and given with generosity, and quiet humility. I don't see this very often in businesses where they the estimate was more than they actually charged us, where they did the repair in less time than thought, and the technician "popped out our bumper" with a finesse that was mind-boggling! The car looks brand new, and I thought we'd need to repaint, but none of the paint was damaged or flaked off! We drove off elated at what amazing work, talent, and small-town friendliness we encountered! Way to go Lee's Body Shop! I'll be bringing my other car and my son's car and tell everyone I know that this is the place!! So great to know a fantastic body shop. What a great experience!!!! read more

Lee's Body Shop is fantastic. They are fast, honest, courteous, skilled, helpful, friendly, and flexible, and their rates are very reasonable. They can do major accident work, classic car restoration, and little things like fixing a window switch. This is a local family business with deep roots in the community. Highly recommended! read more

Great job repairing my passenger side paint. No one likes, to pass some one on GG bridge and hit side view mirrorrs. Theirs flys off jacks up my paint job down the passenger side of my truck. Ughhhh. A true accident that couldn't be helped two big 4x4 trucks driving in our own lanes. Lee's Body Shop, quickly gave me an estimate and fit me in fast to repair the paint with kind and friendly service. *one draw back my cab smelled Like paint for over 10 days that sucked! read more

This place does great work and better still is their customer service. Eric was helpful and even gave me a ride to get my rental. Even better than that is that when I was frustrated with the process and took it out on him he was still cordial in dealing with me. Highly recommend this place. read more

Easy to work with; friendly & professional. Owner was helpful and informative. Great experience! Would definitely recommend!

They never have space to work on cars. Alright customer service but look somewhere else if you need someone you can rely on.

WOW!! This place really lives up to all the 5 star reviews. My car was done so quickly and it was cleaned and washed up so nicely when they were finished! The new bumper repair is nearly unnoticeable, you can only tell it's not the original when you see the metallic flake in bright sunlight goes a bit of a different shade than the body. That's to be expected though, from any body shop. The guy in the office is also very nice, friendly and personable. I will definitely return when/if I need more body work. read more

Great service , great work and great people. They fit me in and fixed my car perfectly right away. They really cared.

I needed to replace my windshield after a rock hit it and the crack was not repairable. Erik, the owner, was knowledgeable, thorough, and extremely courteous and helpful. I highly recommend Lee's Body Shop for dependable service you can trust. read more

I highly recommend Lee's Body Shop. They repaired some dings and dents on my Ford F-150 and the results are amazing. Price was more than fair and the workmanship was outstanding. If you need some automotive body repair give Eric a call... you won't be disappointed. Kevin Byrne read more

Eric and the others at Lee's body shop did a wonderful job on my vehicle. I had to work hard with the insurance company to get them to fix my vehicle when they wanted to write it off as a totaled vehicle. This took some extra time and a few extra phone calls with Eric and the Insurance company but in the end the insurance company paid the have the car fixed. This was my first time using Lee's body shop, I was recommended to come here from a trusted auto mechanic, also in Petaluma. I was very pleased with the completed work, but also with how patient Eric was with how long my car was at this shop while I worked it out with the insurance company. This is a locally owned body shop who has been in Petaluma for a long time. They are trustworthy and straight forward. read more

Top Quality Work! Eric was friendly, prompt & honest! He found a couple of other issues that I didn't notice and definitely had to be fixed. My bumper needed work too, but he replaced the entire bumper with no charge. Very Reasonable !! I recommend Lee's Body Shop always !! My car is like new! Thank you Eric & Staff! read more

My car was recently rear ended with serious damage. 2 friends and a coworker who are familiar with local body shops told me that I must take my car to Erick at Lee's Body Shop. I am so glad that I did. Erick was responsive and informative during the repair process. My car turned out better than I expected. I am extremely picky and couldn't be happier with the result. If you need body work then Lee's is the place to go. They made my car look new! read more

Customer service is Eric's first, middle, and last name. A flying object took off my mirror, loosened the bumper and scratched the car and headlight. Insurance offered me $4K. 1. From the initial phone call he helped problem solve, suggesting I think about spending this much on a 12yo Prius, valued at $6k. 2. He looked at it and said he could get the correct mirror, reattach the tweeked bumper, buff out all the damage and the two headlight covers for ~$400. 3. The mirror he got was a different color so he suggested painting it black and offered to paint the other one to match. You can't tell it wasn't supposed to be that way. He did that and the rest of the work in under 30 minutes while I waited. 4. He only charged me $300! 5. This is how you wish all of life worked. read more

***I didn't actually have work done here*** But hear me out! I needed a plastic spray liner put on the bed of my pickup. The paint in the pickup bed was badly peeling from a previous bad paint job. The guy at Lee's said it would be cheaper to not have it repainted first (which is what I was asking Lee's to do), and suggested I drive right across the street to Rich's to have them do the spray liner instead. I appreciate the customer-focused approach. Very nice. read more

I have to leave a review for this amazing shop. I threw myself at Erich unexpectedly immediately following a major freeway accident and he was so tremendously helpful and reassuring. I was sobbing and scared and had my two little girls with me and nowhere to turn. He soothed my daughters, offering cookies and a place to rest and he jumped into action helping me to get a rental vehicle and on the road again. He made the process seamless and stress free and got my car looking better than it did before the traumatic accident. His compassion and integrity meant the world to us. I am so thankful to have found this business... despite living in Windsor I will most definitely choose this shop for any future bodywork... such a blessing. Thank you again read more

Why would anyone go anywhere else? This is the best body shop my husband and I have ever dealt with. Lee is completely trustworthy and his prices are fair. He does excellent work. I highly recommend! read more

Lee's always helps me quickly and efficiently. I have been there a few times now. Very reliable and fair company.

I found my new New Auto Body Shop here with Eric & Craig at Lee's, as they, patiently, listened to how perfect the latest work I needed done had to be, they weren't afraid of the task in the slightest and returned the 2011 5.0 Beast to me in MUCH better condition than I gave it to them in! Eric & Craig were sensitive to my every wish in caring for the Mustang while it was in the process of being worked on & welcomed me to come by and track it's progress! I whole-heartedly recommend this establishment and their practices for those individuals that absolutely have the finest eye for their Vehicle's finish and It's reflection of paint & clear coat and remain desperate in the pursuit of maintaining the absolute perfection in presentation. read more

I've had Erick and the team at Lee's do insurance repair body work for 2 cars where other people backed into me. The most recent was on my newer Mazda CX-5 rear door. They did a great job both times, I can't tell the difference between old a new. Both times work was done in about a week and they are very easy and straightforward to deal with. Highly recommended! -Michael O'Connell, O'Connell Landscape read more

I was in a multi-car collision recently and brought my car to Lee's based on a recommendation from the trusty staff at Out West Garage. I was so glad I did! Erick was really friendly and honest from the get go and was prompt and thorough in looking into my repair costs. While the car ended up not being save-able Erick helped me out further by providing me with some options. He let me store my vehicle for a few days while I sorted things out and I wan't even technically his customer anymore! I would certainly recommend Lee's to anyone who needs a good honest body shop. While I hope I don't have to return here anytime soon with my next car, I will certainly remain loyal to Lee's! read more

Lee's Body Shop did a great job on my crunched Accord. Erick Schleth & his team matched paint, did a great paint job, and replaced what was needed on my smashed driver door. My mechanic (A & T Automotive) recommended we go there. He's a member of Penngrove Social Firemen, too, and helps out on the Car Show each summer. I had my 1967 Chevy caprice restored at Lees and the experience was great. They took the car down to bare metal and made it look better than new in 1967. Eric was my saver because i was going on the wrong direction on how to do the restoration and he helped me tremendously.I value there experience and there opinion. That is the body shop that people can trust with good work and professionals in the industry read more

I recently backed my truck into a post and crumpled the bumper and fender. Eric gave a fair estimate for the work, scheduled it and had my truck back to me two days after I dropped it off. He even offered to drop me off and pick me up from work to get my vehicle. The repair work is flawless. Hopefully I won't be needing to visit Lee's Body shop anytime soon but if I do I know I'll be treated fairly, the work will be done on time and with high quality. read more

Lee's Body Shop: Excellent Service at a Fair Price A few years ago, someone mashed in my trunk. I went to one of those fancy body shops on Lakeville and they said it would cost $3,000 to replace it. That's crazy-- I would have been paying for their fancy office. I went to Lee's and got the job done for $210. The quality of the work is very high, and the owner is honest and really a nice guy. I had to go back there recently for a minor problem and once again, experienced great service, no nonsense. As a woman, I appreciate it when auto repair places treat me fairly (many do not). If you need auto body work, go to Lee's. You'll be happy you did. read more

Erick and Craig treated me like family. We had issues with the parts ordered from Ford and had to go back several times but they worked at it until it was functioning perfectly. AND, they didn't charge me for all the extra time and labor! read more

This YELP is for Craig. Dude, you knew my sister was in need and you completely took care of her. To the point that she will forever be thankful. Thank you for fixing her window. Eric helped me today with my son's car. It needed a new hood cable. I dropped it off in the am and he called me for a update. Great service! Eric was very friendly and helpful throughout. I brought in my car for a free estimate and was given several options as far as sourcing and level of perfection I was looking for. With the large dent, gouges, and hole in the bumper, it really needed a new bumper, but Eric gave me the option of him just working on it for a few hours at a much lower cost. I went for it and was amazed at how well it came out. You have to examine it really close to even tell that there was a dent or hole. I am very happy with the entire experience and I highly recommend Lee's to anyone. read more

I've had my truck into Lee's twice: once for some chip removal on the roof and another for an insurance-related rear end accident. For the rear end accident the guys were great, they worked with my insurance company and even ate some of the cost on the repair to keep the insurance company from totaling my truck (they knew I wanted to keep it). I've also been past a few times to ask them for suggestions on how to fix small bodywork items myself, they're always happy to take a little time to explain things.
