For my 2009 RAV4's 13th birthday, I decided to treat her to a full detail. She has withstood a lot - through 9 years of New England weather and 2 years of the rough streets/weather of New York City. After doing some research, I felt that Lee's had the right balance of pricing and excellent reviews. Jason took my call and helped me schedule a mobile appointment on a Saturday for a complete detail (interior, exterior) plus a headlight restoration (badly overdue). I was starting to get pretty embarrassed about the severe yellowing from oxidation. Starting from the phone call, Jason was the utmost professional. He was so polite and kind. I can tell he always puts the customer first. I live in an apartment complex with underground parking, so he helped me choose a convenient place to meet him (a parking lot at a local park 0.5 mile away). I dropped the car off with him around 10:30am. He was undaunted by the state of my car and said he was going to take care of it like it was his own. He finished around 4:30pm, and it was clear that he did not rush through the job. He is a true perfectionist who went through every nook and cranny. I was so impressed. I found Lee's Auto Detailing through Yelp and after seeing all of the great 5-star reviews, I decided to try them out! I scheduled a 9AM appointment using their website three days ahead and, on the day of, was called by one of their employees asking if they could move the appointment to 11 AM and do a mobile visit instead. I didn't have any problems with that, so they came at around 10:50 and got to work. Jason was the best and an absolute gem to work with. He expressed that the mini detail includes a wax but for $50 more I could get a clay bar treatment and went so far as to demonstrate it on a small area of my car. I ultimately decided against it, but after coming back to my car 1.5 hours later, he told me he wanted to treat me to the clay bar treatment since it was my first time with Lee's :')) Overall, it was $180 (without tip) for a mini detail on my Toyota Rav4. Its my first time seeing an actual 5 star shop and it is well deserved. My bf set up an appt 4 weeks in advance so def book ahead of time if you need the service. For the price, it is solid. The day we had an appt, there was a gas leak at the shop so the owner called us and asked if he could come to us instead which was nice. We got the complete detail and it comes with pretty much everything you need, including polish which usually costs a lot to do. He worked quickly and efficiently. I found Lee's through Google and Yelp searches for an engine bay detail. The website was very straightforward to book. When I went to see when I could get serviced, I saw, "If you would like to book an appointment on a Friday, please call." So, I thought, "what are the odds I could actually get my car worked on if I just call and ask?" I called and left a voicemail but as I was recording my message, they called me. I wasn't even done recording my message. That's when I met Jason. He was very professional sounding but had that personable friendliness that boosts a person's customer service experience up. The amount of time and effort he put into my baby (my car), made me feel like I just stepped out of the shower!
