Terrible customer service and incompetent techs. I've spent…read morethousands of dollars at this location and have never really been satisfied. I will no longer be using their services. The last incident with them was really upsetting. I dropped my chainsaw off to them about 2 months ago and after running my chainsaw with the right oil to fuel mixture my pistons seized. They are trying to charge me $700 for the repairs and I literally haven't ran it for a full hour. They do not want to do warranty work, they always have an excuse. One of the guys behind the counter is really rude, all he did was accuse me of being a liar. He sat there and tried to say I didn't bring it in a month ago because he didn't know how to use the computer system...ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS.. I'm currently seeking a second opinion from another repair shop on why my pistons have seized and depending on what they say, I will be taking them to small claims court.

I totally agree the owner is nothing short of being a complete ASSHOLE…read more I took my snowblower there to be repaired mentioned the Carburetor maybe the issue... A week later I get a call to pick it up & bring it home would not start. I go right back speak to the ASSHOLE Owner About having to come back twice. He starts swearing quite loudly at me saying what the FUCK do you want me to do with this I said fix like you suppose to do the first time. I have even heard his wife say he is extremely rude & ignorant. Up until then I had been a good customer. Do not deal with this company period. I feel bad for the women having to deal with such an ASSHOLE.

Recently got delivery of 2 face cords from Van Beek's, and I've been really happy with the quality…read more The wood burns clean and gives off consistent heat, way better than what I've gotten from other places in the past. Delivery was smooth and on time! The staff were helpful and made the whole process simple. Definitely planning to get more when I run low!

Issue not resolved. Driver arrives with 2 yards of top soil on April 14th. Asked where to put it. I…read moreask if it's possible for him to put it at the end of the driveway. He says yes if I move my basketball net. He backs up gets out to see where he is and backs up a little more. As he backs up I see he goes on an angle and we hear a loud crack. He gets out of the truck and asks if I heard it. I say yes but I am not sure what happened. The truck has obstructed my view, but as you can see from the pictures, he backed up over my driveway and cracked the wood. At this point he walks around to unload. I don't know how he could not have seen what happened but either way he dumps the load of dirt on top obstructing the damage and never mentions anything to me. As I start to move dirt I begin to see what's happened. At this point I take some pictures, and continue to take pictures as I remove the dirt to see the damage that's happened. I reach out via Facebook with some pictures asking for a call. Someone responds very politely ensuring that someone will contact me on April 18th. I received a call 5:30 p.m. on April 18th from a representative. Based on the Facebook message I'm thinking this will be resolved tonight. I went into this calm and looking for a resolution. The call only served to make the situation worse and upset me even more. He starts the conversation by telling me that they spoke to the driver and his explanation is that I directed him and knew of the damage and was okay with it. I thought it was odd that at no point was I asked for my side. I said, do you want to know my story, and his response was, oh yeah sure. After I explained my side his response was, well the driver told us something different. I really got the impression that they felt the issue was resolved AKA there was no issue, and the call was simply to tell me so. At this point I started to get frustrated. I said that I would like the order to be refunded and let them know I was going to get a quote to fix. He passed me over to the manager. When she picked up the line she said hello Suzanne speaking. I said hi it's Andrew. Then there was about 20 seconds of dead air. I thought maybe she would say something to the effect of how can I help, or I understand there is an issue, but she only provided silence. I said, are you going to make me explain again what the situation is? Her response was whoa you sound really hostile. She also kept interrupting to say she couldn't hear me, which was weird since I didn't have that problem with the other person. So right away I knew her approach was going to be to get rid of me. She was more interested in telling me the driver's side of the story just like the previous person. Again her version was nothing like my version. Apparently I was directing the driver the whole time when in reality I was standing at my door watching. Apparently I knew the driver backed up over the driveway and told him not to worry about it despite the fact I didn't see it, I was only aware of it after moving some of the dirt. Apparently I asked him multiple times to keep going further back. At this point I just said the driver is lying and she's defended him saying he's a great driver. That doesn't mean he didn't make a mistake. Again she said I directed him and was okay with the damage. I asked how that was even possible since he dumped the load of dirt over top. I said did you see the pictures. Do you think I'd be okay with that. I said only after did I start to move the dirt did I see the damage, and at that point I started to take pictures. She asked again if I directed him and I said absolutely not that's not my job he's a professional. She said I would get a call back on April 19th. No call.

It was hard to find staff, and when I did they could not help me. Excuses were I am new and I don't work in this department. Great excuses for a customer to hear. The correct answer is I don't know but let me find someone to help you. What a headache. Suggestion, perhaps you update your website so that it shows the isles of store items. So that customer don't spend there whole night in the store.

Not only can I never find anything -- the set up is simply not intuitive, and the areas are not marked very well -- but I don't find the staff to be overly helpful either. I can't count the number of times I've stopped by and ended up wandering the aisles with a furrowed brow and open mouth, hunting for whatever it is I need. I often have to chase down a staff member to ask where something is located. What's strange is that the Hamilton Lowes is the complete opposite. There, it's *easy* to find what I'm looking for, and the staff there is SO helpful -- it's a pleasure to spend money at the Hamilton Lowe's. That difference tells me that it's not Lowe's but the local management. I have been doing a lot of home renovations and, though the Burlington Lowe's is not far from my house, I try to hold off on my purchases and go to the Hamilton Lowes whenever I get a chance.
