Tonight a contractor said he'd have scrapped it and had them replace, so here's the review...and it's not a joke. Instead of cutting my sink where this very phallic vein was, they installed it into my bathroom. Turns out I'm just (what I can only assume) a pushover for one of their granite cutters' jokes. Yes. I did call. I did text photos. The girl there said it looked fine to her and she didn't notice anything. A year later people still comment when they use my bathroom. I'm not a satisfied customer. Why can't I post photos!!!!!!!! Where is that option?!

This company was a breath of fresh air from the minute I walked into their office unannounced on a…read morecold winter snowy day. I was warmly greeted by Dayton, and Kim I had a unique situation as I needed a retrofit to match an existing 25 yr old granite kitchen counter? Kim found a substantial size 10' slab I needed, at a supplier in New Jersey. Then it was shipped to Albany, Kim encouraged me to go look at and compare . Once I gave the Ok Kim shipped it back to her shop in Kingston. In the interim her crew came to my house and removed the old counter, and made the needed template. Making sure all was to their standards for install. We set the install for two months later as I was about to leave for vacation. While I was away, Caliber crew cut the slab to exact template and cut the sink. I sent the sink directly to Caliber per Kim's help and direction. The install was a date almost 60 days out per my schedule. On the exact day of install, a crew of three headed by Miguel (also did removal and template) showed up 8:30 sharp. The installation is flawless, combined with impeccable clean up and professionalism from start to finish. I'm a builder of numerous homes, and I owned and operated the largest Home Improvement company in Dutchess county for forty years. Now retired, but believe me I know a top notch company when I see one. A breath of fresh air company, I fully endorse without hesitation.

When we noticed a slight imperfection in the largest slab in the kitchen, Caliber quickly agreed to replace it and did so immediately. We couldn't have been happier since the install was during the height of COVID in Oct 2020 and businesses were not running smoothly at that time. Now, 4 years later, I noticed that the edge of the white quartz around one of the bathroom sinks was staining and that it was somewhat rough. Kim at Caliber responded right away to my emailed pictures and scheduled her team to come to my home over an hour away and grind the edge at no charge. This happened within 2 weeks of my email. I was actually blown away. The outcome was perfect. At 74 years of age and 7 kitchen remodeling projects, this is the best company that I have ever used for countertops. After 5 weeks of broken promises with this other company, I got my deposit back and went to Kitchen Express Plus. The owner told me she could have us installed within 2 weeks. I was very happy with this information. Then I got a phone call that they could install earlier if I was ready, and I was. My countertops were installed in less than a week! They are beautiful and I highly recommend this company. They are a family owned business. They do their own measurements and installs. Their warehouse is also local. The other company that I went to first, subcontracted their installers, and their fabricators and warehouse is in New Jersey! Other companies wont compare to the professionalism, price, work ethic, honesty and timeliness of Kitchen Express Plus.

So very disappointed! This was a multi-month long granite countertop purchase and installation…read moreprocess. Paid downpayment on 8/3. Template made 10/3. Install on 10/13 (one day late). I am attaching photos. I was excited when a man about 70ish came to do the initial measurements. I had no doubt he was a master craftsman and was thrilled. But the template was made by, I think his son. He aslo did the install. His sister called the night before he was supposed to be installing, that he was sick so it was installed a day later than agreed upon which messed up a plumber. I inspected the job before I cut the check. Only because I mentioned these problems did he confess to them. He would have left without pointing them out. I paid the full price which makes me incredibly gullible. You can see the gap of over an inch from the granite to the west side wall. You can also see where they cut into a wooden chair rail too far on the edge of the eastern side. The heartbreaker was that the puppy didn't match the grain on the two opposing ends. The center piece (sink) was laid east to west but the two side counters were cut north to south. I expected the grain to be in one direction as we bought a huge slab. The edge of the east block to the north/south block isn't flush. It was a poor job that I waited for since August (July if you count our going to the stoneyard in Windsor). I've wanted a granite countertop my whole adult life and was in tears after they left because it cost a fortune and wasn't done well. It was a poor job that cost a fortune and took months. I CANNOT RECOMMEND as the son is more an apprentice who should learn more from his elder/master before being given his own install.
