I get occasional tinnitus and find the source of the cause. The cause is the Liver, and the…read moretrigger is carbs and sugars. Solution is vegetables but for urgent repair work is well washed raw vegetables smoothie. A friend who had it for 4 years and under my advice stopped in two days. After one week of peace a bite of turtle chocolate triggered it immediately. After 10 years and dietary changes and B-12 shots tinnitus finally stopped for her. We were looking at ice cream, and she was looking at the flavor she will choose, and her ear started to ring. A doctor told me about 45 years ago that the eyes tell the system what is about to come in. I became a believer when I witnessed the effects. I changed my diet 9 years ago and my health did a fantastic recovery. I take Liver Supplements and eat a lot of veggies with small amounts of meats. I can stop symptoms now, produced by the liver as a language, within less than 1/2 hour. I noticed like tinnitus and eye floaters are sugar related. The liver loves vegetables especially raw vegetables. I hope I provided a direction of treating most disorders including tinnitus. Jak Bicaci, Architect Jak.Bicaci@gmail.com

My experience and patient care were horrible at LAENT. Dear Patient Relations / Administration,…read more I am writing to file a formal complaint and provide notice of potential violations of patient rights, including discrimination and denial of reasonable accommodation, regarding my visit to your East Los Angeles location (1700 E. Caesar Chavez Avenue, Suite 2500, Los Angeles, California 90033, on Monday, May 4th at 10:30 a.m. I have been a patient with your ENT practice for over five years at your downtown Los Angeles location without incident. However, my recent experience at the East Los Angeles office with the Manager Eduardo and Victoria the receptionist was unacceptable, degrading, and raises serious legal and ethical concerns. I arrived 30 minutes early as instructed for my 10:30 a.m. appointment, yet I was required to wait an additional 40 minutes beyond my scheduled time. I also incurred a $10 parking fee due to lack of validation. When I was finally seen, the provider acknowledged the delay but rushed the procedure (breathing/lung treatment), which lasted approximately 10 minutes, and required me to provide my own medication from home. Following discharge, I requested access to the restroom. The front desk employee, identified as Victoria, demanded that I surrender my driver's license in order to obtain a restroom key. This demand was made in a dismissive and hostile manner. I declined to provide my identification for this purpose and explained that I have high blood pressure and take a prescribed diuretic, which creates an urgent and medically necessary need for restroom access. For context, I am a retired case manager and a senior citizen, and I am well aware of patient privacy rights under HIPAA and general standards of care. Being asked to relinquish my personal identification under these circumstances felt inappropriate, unnecessary, and invasive. Despite being on-site for nearly two hours as a patient, I was denied restroom access. I was told this was "policy," yet no such policy was posted, disclosed, or consistently enforced at your other locations. Rather than accommodate a medically necessary and time-sensitive need, staff escalated the situation and delayed access while attempting to involve management. When the manager arrived, I was still refused access to the restroom. As a direct result, I was forced into an involuntary and humiliating situation and urinated on myself within your facility. I was the only Black patient present at the time, and the manner in which I was treated raises serious concerns regarding disparate treatment and potential discrimination in a healthcare setting. This conduct may constitute: A violation of patient rights to dignity and humane treatment Failure to provide reasonable accommodation for a medical condition Potential discrimination in a place of public accommodation Negligent infliction of emotional distress Healthcare providers have both legal and ethical obligations to treat patients with dignity, provide reasonable accommodations, and avoid actions that result in harm or humiliation. The conduct of your staff fell far below these standards. Accordingly, I am requesting: A formal investigation into this incident A written copy of your restroom access policies Identification of corrective actions, including staff retraining and/or disciplinary measures Written assurance that no patient will be subjected to this type of treatment in the future Please be advised that I am evaluating my options for filing formal complaints with appropriate regulatory and civil rights agencies, including the California Department of Public Health and federal civil rights authorities. I expect a prompt written response outlining how this matter will be addressed. Sincerely, Kenneth Davis

His broad scope of expertise, humanity, tact, and sense of humor have made a lasting positive impact on my life. Like most of his other patients, I can say without hesitation that I consider him and Peggy to be a part of my extended family. I will never forget receiving an unprompted call from Dr. H late in the evening many years ago after they learned of a sudden health crisis that my parent suffered. Thankfully, my parent's crisis eventually resolved; but that brief check-in from Dr. H touched me deeply. I knew that I was not alone and that he genuinely cared. Unheard of in modern medicine, when you call their office after-hours and connect with the emergency line, the phone rings at Dr. H's house. They trust their patients not to abuse that access; but the small number of times that my family needed it, Peggy and Dr. H were on the other end of the line, providing useful information and reassurance, even at 4AM. My experience as a patient of Dr. H's played no small role in my own journey towards becoming a physician. I often find myself trying to recall one of his totally unique and pithy one-liner jokes when I need to break the ice with a new patient. Family practices like this one are virtually impossible to find these days. The world would be a much better place if everyone had a medical team like Dr. Horowitz and Peggy.

All I can say is WOW!! I've never had such amazing service when it comes to doctor visits. From…read morethe first moment of contacting the office, Peggy was soooo nice and sweet. With covid and how things are run differently now, communication is KEY! Peggy sent me all the health forms that needed to be completed in a timely manner via email. She was wonderful at responding to my emails, and she made things so easy! They went out of their way to see me in person in a really short notice as my visit required necessary clearance for my nursing program. They only have certain days for appointments but she made an exception for me as my work schedule conflicted with their in-person office visits. Peggy also sent me my labs on a Saturday as I requested if she could send it to me as soon as they receive it.. they are closed on Saturdays and she did that for me (I am so grateful!). I also want to say that I drove from Monterey Park to Dr. Horowitz's office on a Friday during the time that there is so much traffic (traffic alone in this area if you already know is hideous) but I would do it again! Thank you so much Peggy and Dr. Horowitz!!
