I could rewrite the same review for every visit I've had with her. She has a way of making you feel like a trusted friend whose well-being is her top priority. Each appointment with her is warm, efficient, compassionate, and remarkably attentive. From the moment she walked into the room, she made me feel like I was her only concern for the entire day. Her bedside manner is exceptional--warm, caring, and genuine. She took the time to truly listen to my concerns, not just rush through symptoms or diagnoses. It's rare to find a provider who values listening as much as giving medical advice, but she does both beautifully. What stood out most was how thorough and efficient she was. She asked about all aspects of my health, not just the physical symptoms that brought me in, but also my mental well-being and any other challenges I might be facing. She clearly cares about the whole picture, treating me as a complete individual rather than just a set of symptoms. I was also impressed that she had reviewed my medical records from other specialists before even stepping into the room. Being up to date with my past visits and current care plan made the appointment feel seamless, personalized, and truly collaborative. She is the kind of doctor who makes you feel safe, heard, respected, and supported. Her compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail are unmatched. Providers like her are rare, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have her as part of my healthcare team. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a knowledgeable, caring, and truly exceptional doctor. Thanks for being a Wonderfull caregiver Dr. Kwon. S. Copenhaver

This is not totally about Dr. Kwon but with respect to my frustration with non-transparent coding…read moreand billing. TBH, I would stick with UTSW, but their Primary Care is subpar. Dr. Kwon has a lovely personality, but the two of us are both talkers. No more requested followups, stick to business. She types away during the whole visit, and you get coded for everything. My $25 copay turned into a $300 bill for a 20 minute simple visit. She asked me questions and instigated the tangents. Congrats Dr. Kwon for your excellent upcoding skills and the bonus you are in line for. When you visit, stick to topic or she will stick you for the bill. Unless you are over your OOP, in which case go for it.

I want to highlight my personal experiences with this office and not with Dr. Trumby himself…read more Something that I believe many doctors, including Dr. Trumby overlook: how much their staff impacts the overall patient experience and even their bottom line. When I first called to make an appointment, I was put through a screening process and then sent to "Shannon's" voicemail, which promised a call back within 24 hours to schedule my first appointment. I called three times over two weeks, trying to get an appointment. I was already terrified about what was happening to me. It's demeaning to feel like you have to beg for someone to care. I'm sincerely disappointed because several people referred me to Dr. Trumby and I honestly believed he could help me. Thankfully, I found another hematologist/oncologist whose staff called back within the day, treated me with respect, and made me a priority from day one. They made it clear I deserved the attention and care I needed. Doctors should realize that an unresponsive staff push patients to seek out other places where they feel heard and valued. It is my hope there is someone in management that reads this and is able to fix "the problems" within their house!

Dr Gary Goff the best doctor i have ever had. He is very knowledgeable, caring, patient, and kind…read more I first started going to Dr Goff when he was at St Paul Hospital which is now Utsw. When he moved his practice North I didn't want to drive that far. That was the biggest mistake I have ever made. I have been back with him for three years now and would fly to another State if I had to. He is that good. Trust me you would not be disappointed. I have had all of my family move over to him. However, the experience at the front desk during the most recent visit was very disappointing. The interaction with the reception staff -- including one staff member who appeared to be named Jeany (or a similar name) -- felt dismissive and unprofessional. Both the English-speaking and Spanish-speaking receptionists handled the situation in a manner that came across as lacking patience and compassion. This was particularly concerning because the patient is an older adult who needed some guidance with the administrative process. Healthcare environments should ensure that all patients, especially seniors, are treated with dignity, patience, and respect. It is my sincere hope that the doctor or clinic management becomes aware of this concern and reviews how patients are treated at the front desk, so that future patients receive the support and professionalism they deserve.

Oh Gosh. Where to start ? I will simply offer the "highlights" of our visit. Although grateful to…read moreget in to see this doctor on the same day we called, we later learned that because he had NO patients scheduled for the afternoon, he had accepted two new patients. We arrived 30 minutes prior to our 2pm appointment in order to complete paperwork, which we did. At 2pm a man wearing dirty bluejeans, a Cancun T-shirt and a stethoscope around his neck, opened the door to the waiting area and asked us to step in. Our patient was weighed and eventually, his blood pressure and blood oxygen level was taken by this man. He sat with us in the exam room and began to talk and talk and talk about random things. ie: he reads the news to find the "good" news; a terrorist attack can't be stopped; the economy is going to be negatively affected when Amazon and Fed-Ex start transporting goods electronically driven trucks...yada yada yada. As I sat there, I glanced at the countertop beside me where sat a jar of "sterile" gauze pads with no lid. Then I noticed a pillow on the exam table and interrupted him to ask if they had paper pillowcases for it. He said yes, if needed, they would put one on and said I have them right here...indicating down on the floor on the other side of the exam table. Finally, I asked "what is your name?". He spoke his first name, but offered no credentials. He did say that he sits with patients and entertains them until the Doctor is ready to see them. All this is not the worst. The worst is that this man smelled bad ! Not the kind of smell you might have if you'd had to step outside in the heat to get something out of the car, but the smell that's present from no bath for 3 or 4 days. Oh and his hair was greasy dirty and he kept running his fingers through it. From the exam room next to ours, I could hear the Doctor and other new patient talking to one another, because the door was wide open. What kind of confidentiality is that and why did I just sign all those Hippa papers ?? Worse, I heard no exchange of medical dialog such as what's wrong and here's what I can do to help you. No ! What I heard was the Doctor talking about the political condition of our country and the patient talking about a dog that thought he was human. When it was one hour past our appointment time with no word from the doctor, my patience ran out and the alarm bells were ringing loudly in my mind, I told our patient that we were leaving. The man was nowhere in sight, neither was the receptionist, and we walked past the open door of the room with the Doctor and other new patient. No one said a word and no one called me. I immediately called our insurance company to let them know of our experience with this doctor that was on their approved physicians list. They were glad I called them.
