The natural nail has been drilled

Not a good place to go if you're not one of their regulars and if you want good quality. I asked for a Gel Fill In and a Bubble Pedicure. My total ended up being over $100 for those two parts which is not what their website advertise. The nail tech who did my nails was rushing because she wanted to get to her regular client, and because of this the color isn't the one I picked, she drilled my natural nail when i asked to keep the length and some of my nails are crooked. When I would bring something like the shape up she kinda yelled at me for not noticing before i washed my hands after the filing. During my pedicure the lady next to me got their express pedicure which is supposed to be shorter than the bubble pedicure, but somehow she finished after me? I was told i had no calluses to shave off which is so wrong, and I asked for no olive oil at the end because it messes up my sandal, but she put it on anyway. Overall I have been here before and last year they were great, so i thought my last visit 4 weeks ago was just a one off bad time but today's experience really sealed the deal that their quality has gone way down. I will be finding a new nail place because this was unacceptable.

Bleeding cuticles

First, very nice people. The facilities are not clean. The soaking bowl for a manicure was very dirty. Tools were set out and not in a sanitizer. My pedicure was good - rough but she was quick to adjust when I asked. The manicure - after she clipped cuticles and left 5 fingers bleeding, I said enough. She wanted to paint over the blood soaked nails. Put pure acetone on cuts - ouch - to attempt to stop the bleeding. They still charged me 20.00 for a nail shape and bleeding-finger-cuticle manicure!

One week after my pedi, and it's still inflamed.

The salon was immaculate, and the workers were kind while I was there, so I didn't want to leave a negative review...in fact I was so impressed that I left them a 5 star review on their site. Unfortunately, the response from the salon inspired me to reach out to others. I received a pedi the day before my vacation to Hawaii. The nail tech (not going to blast her because we all make mistakes) cut the cuticle on my right, big toe. She was so kind that I didn't complain. The next morning, I woke up with a purple, swollen toe. I figured it would go away by now, but a week later, this is what it looks like. This infection has made my vacation painful since we did a lot of exploring and hiking. When I explained to an employee, they seemed to think it was no big deal and only offered me 15% off my next pedi. When I told her that I didn't feel that was good enough, she threw 10% off my 3rd pedi. Rather than take her up on the offer, I'm letting you all know, so you can decide if you'd try them. I know I'll never go back. Oh, and my 8 year old got a no chip polish on her fingers, and it didn't even last 24 hours.

Absolutely love this salon. I have visited a total of two times. First time my nails were done by Lee himself then, this time (nails above) were done by a sweet women. I didn't get her name. Great with line work and very specific on shapes of the nails. I absolutely loved my set and will be going back for a second round. Highly recommend! I really hope their service stays the way it is. One of the only salons I've been to that valued customer service not just worried about the money!

Red skin and crusty near nails

This was the most painful pedicure I've ever had. I have some ingrown toenail issues, and the technician attempted to cut them all out. I kicked and made obvious noises that I was in pain, but she kept going. To add insult to injury, she then squirted more acetone on them...resulting in extreme stinging. The next day, my skin near my big toes is red and tender. I had to take ibuprofen.

I came here with my mom and sister for pedicures. We were charged $37 each for pedicures that lasted maybe 20 minutes. I was serviced by Stella, who was very aggressive and unfriendly. As an example, she would pick up my foot to do something and instead of placing it back down, just dropped it onto the foot holder. When cutting the cuticles, she dug in with her tools and it was very painful. And it still looks bad. I receive pedicures in Chicago often for much less and with better service and higher quality. Also, her mask did not cover her nose. Needless to say, we will not be returning here.

My first time here and had a great experience. I was greeted right away by Andy who ended up doing my nails. He was very nice and gentle with me. Did the design exactly the way I wanted. The rest of the staff seemed nice. One of the young guys answered my questions about their pedicure services with no issue. I will be back for Andy for sure

They really need to get it together here. I placed an online order for pickup - annddddd I received…read morean email and a text saying my order had been picked up. Nope. No it had not. I called the store multiple times - no answer. So then I had to call corporate to get it straightened out. I'm also in my 30's sooooo if a millennial is having to write about this - you know it was a bad experience. Corporate told me to go in that it should be there, so I get there, wait in line, and was snottily told I didn't have to, that I should have just picked it up. And I was like right, well, it was already marked off as having been picked up when it wasn't, so I want to make sure it's actually here and you all check it off on your end that it was done successfully. To which I then get an oh.....and of course someone else needed to then be called over because the person had no clue how to handle the situation. Not impressed. Not impressed whatsoever.

This Ulta Beauty location is just blah. There are so many workers walking around, staring at you…read moreas you are looking around trying to find something. They don't say two words to you. They just walk right past you. Which I am not used to at Ulta stores. Usually the employees will come up to me and ask me if I am finding everything OK. This location , they pretty much ignored me. They always acted like they were busy doing something else when they were just walking around. They also do not carry Chanel perfume, which is annoying. One more thing that really annoyed me is they their Stila eyeliner that I use the last three times I have purchased this from them, it has been defective and I'd have to take it back and buy it online.
