I shop here regularly and truly enjoy the experience. The Village Store is part of our quaint Main Street area not to be overlooked. You can shop for housewares, local foods, boutique clothing and jewelry, toys, Lake Life and Lake Norman local gifty items, like tshirts, pillows, tea towels, etc. There is so much to look at here, and trust me, you will find something you love! The staff there is very friendly and the store is so well stocked. The prices are very fair compared to other boutique style stores, but I'd say the Village Store has the biggest selection of home and gift items in the Lake area. They have begun putting out their fall decor, and they really have some beautiful displays during the Christmas season. I really enjoy shopping here.

I got worried that no one contacted me back, so I went to the store to see it was closed. The other stores didn't know what was going on but took my information for someone to call me. Long story short I got it rescheduled. I brought my staff here as a suprise and they were nervous but delighted. We were explained to containers and plants to match. Then left to our own devices to decorate. Plan for at least an hour here. We were given some informationon aftercare. Our babies were boxed up and we paid our balance. If this store isn't full of the friendliest people on earth, I don't know what to say…read more It's farmhouse-not exactly our esthetic but we popped in and found a super bubbly and friendly salesperson who walked us through the store and talked about their design services. She introduced us to the furniture designers/creators and we got to see some live work in progress-they were also friendly and awesome! I have a small custom project and this will be my first place to discuss it once I've firmed it up a bit more. What a refreshing experience!!
