I have been going to this clinic for 3 years with my whole family . I had my annual cleaning and…read morex-rays in July. Patty, the receptionist, asked if anything had changed on my end regarding address and insurance, to which it had not. Didn't pay anything for that appointment (because that appointment was preventative care and covered 100% by my in-network insurance). But I needed to come back a week later to have a cavity filled and was quoted $90 because they were in network with my insurance. Had my cavity filled and Patty told me that the price was actually only $75 per my insurance, which I paid. Then, I find out a week later that they went out of network with my insurance 6 months prior, they never told me. When Patty asked me if anything had changed on my end, that would have been a good time for her to let me know that things had changed on their end . Their website clearly states they are in network with my insurance (Aetna) (Patty didn't even know they had gone out of network 6 months earlier ) and now they are charging me for everything and refuse to work with me on it . They are taking no responsibility in this matter. I have been very kind and professional in trying to resolve this matter and they have completely ghosted me and they keep sending me bills. Super disappointed in their lack of care and unprofessional manner.

It felt good to be seen and heard while in the chair. Dr. Jill was just as kind and helpful. I never once felt out of place in the office and they didn't make me feel like a dummy with bad oral hygiene. I have scheduled further care and cleanings with Oakmont Family Dental. I highly recommend this office, especially if you might be a little nervous in the chair. They take it one step further then anywhere I have been in the past.

I went in here and at first they didn't have my records from my previous dentist. But they got them sent over while I was sitting there. I got x-rays and they checked my teeth. Still got a couple hanging on, so I was good there. Then they went through a thorough dental exam (including checking the clunking in my jaw...TMJ...Awesome). But is was minor so they let it go. Then I went from that chair to the hygienist chair. She examined my teeth again and started to go to work with the power pick and suction. I enjoyed the conversation, and I am sure that she enjoyed my slobbery, mumbled retorts as the suction and picks invariably altered my speech. She polished the living b-jesus out of my teeth and finished the remainder of the cleaning. Was there a little pain involved? Of course there was, they are dentist and they stick metal objects in your mouth and try to mine for gold for 15-20 minutes. But when I got out of there my teeth felt clean, and I was confident that they were. Not like my last dentist office where they cleaned for 3-5 minutes and called it good. Of course this may speak volumes on my oral hygiene, but I like the fact that it seemed like they put in a full effort on my chompers. Staff was very nice and easy going, there equipment is rather new, but the facility reminds me of a jail with the painted brick (only real drawback for me). Sad that I had to travel to Garbage Grove to find a decent dentist. This is my 3rd in 5 years. But looks like I finally found an old school dentist. I cant wait till they decide to pull the remaining 2 teeth out of my head.

I am someone who experiences a high level of dental anxiety and this was by far the best I have ever been treated. The hygienist that I saw yesterday was just filling in, but she was so gentle and understanding I wish she was permanent. When the doctor was running a bit behind, or got stuck with another patient, she advised me right away. She also took the time to sit and have an actual conversation with me and that helped ease my anxiety. I have nothing but great things to say about her, I am just bummed I forgot her name so I could not give her the recognition she deserves. It is odd for me to say, but I am actually excited to go back and have treatment done with Dr. Gill. As I am in healthcare myself, I appreciate the kindness in this office. I had to drive a ways to find this dentist office, but it was well worth it.
