I've seeing Megan for years now. She's a gifted stylist and a lovely person. The salon is very welcoming. I highly recommend it.

For My birthday, emailed the place to see if they do hair perm and was told they do. Checked the reviews and then scheduled appointment. It like they the high end place( expensive) as I walked in so I trusted it to do a good job and they know what they're doing. They took my credit card information which I thought was fishy so I gave my old non working credit card number. Met this sweet lady who is assigned to work with my hair. Show her my old picture of my old perm and she gets to work. The time she was done, I kinda thought it looks weird but she said it will take 24-72 hours for the chemicals to do its job so I let it go. 3days later after the first wash, my hair is curly on one area and not the other. Sent them a picture to see. The owner decided to blame my hair for the problem she said she want to do this and that to get it healthy and try again but in my head, second chance is enough for me$300 bucks for hair is too much. Owner suggested to come back after sending them the picture of the butchered hair. They did strand test and decided to do again in certain areas. And it's another Failure! This time, my hair is toast. It seems they don't know how to do perm and to take money from customers, they will accept whatever order is available. This is a bad customer service. The owner should just stay in coloring, trim , design, etc. NEVER offer chemicals perm. Now I hate my use to be healthy hair. I need to spend more money to fix the damage and uneven curls. Every day, I look I have a bad hair day and takes me extra 30 minutes to tame the wild uneven curls. read more

Oh my gosh! I'm have found my people! My stylist was Candy and she is amazing!!! Not only is she so sweet and positive and fun, my hair has never looked better! I've always been extremely picky about my hair and trying to communicate what I want is not always easy. Rarely do I end up with what I want but I didn't even have to say much and Candy knew exactly what I wanted. She's such a pro and it shows. The salon is really beautiful and inviting. I've been going to Lee Graves Salon for a little under a year now, and Camelia always does an amazing job!!! I asked for a red with more orange base(not purple) and I wanted layers with curtain bangs. She delivered!!! The color is perfect. Anyone who has red-hair knows how it fades fast. Camelia gave me great recommendations to keep the red vibrant longer and even when it DOES fade eventually, I love the more subtle natural red it fades to. I came in with some traces of box dye in my hair from a while back and my goal was to get to blonde. I wasn't sure what that process looked like but Candy had a plan. Yea so apparently this is $300 dye job. Wasted 3 hours at this place for this. Was very upfront with Liz the colorist about me having a Dr appt and 4 hrs being too long and $400 being too much for me to pay. Originally was wanting to do a purple ombre. When price and time were discussed we decided that just doing blonde then maybe coming back at a later date to add purple in. So I was the first appointment of the day. 10 AM -12:30 and she is still putting bleach in my hair - I had an appointment at 2PM across town which she was made aware of at beginning of appointment. So then at 12:30 pm owner helped me get out on time in order to make my Dr appointment. Left exactly at 1 with an incomplete dye job looking crazy - even had bleach on the back of my shirt which I was not aware of till later. Fast forward to after Dr appointment I return to salon to allow them to make right and finish my hair. Then I was made aware it was already $300 as is and that is was going to be an additional $200 for the colorist to finish. That was not what we discussed. If I come in and tell you budget and time limitations then please be honest. If you can't do it just say so. I was upfront with colorist - she did not respect my time limitations or anything I said about pricing. I left feeling bad since I could not afford to have salon finish. Owner is arrogant and impossible to work with. I was unhappy with the $315 service her salon provided. My hair is a pixie cut. They used an incredible (unheard of) amount of foils to turn my blonde hair to beige hair, when in fact.....I asked for SILVER PLATINUM ! SO I asked for a refund. They "don't give refunds". As a professional business owner, the right thing to do would be to LISTEN to the customers concerns! That's the problem!!!! No one at this salon listens!!! They just want your money! Went in for a blowout and to get my makeup done. Rhoda did my hair and it was amazing - if just reviewing that part it would be 5 stars. Would 100% go to Rhonda again for my hair. As for makeup, I'm not sure they regularly do makeup here even though it's offered. The makeup artist rounded up makeup and brushes on a tray (there was no real makeup case or palettes) and kept talking about things they didn't have - like certain tools, brushes, and products, as well as nothing for lips. Products were crusty and she had to run around looking in drawers for mascara since each one she found was dried out. Didn't feel professional, and I did have to go home and fix it. Won't go back for makeup but the place was nice for hair. read more

Today, I went to Lee Graves Salon for the first time. I booked my appt. with Rhonda. My hair was in terrible condition, having been over-treated and was dry and brittle when I came in. Rhonda really listened to what I wanted to do, offered some suggestions, and was happy to help get my hair looking good again. And, that's what she did! She got my color just right, gave me a great cut, and tips on how to style my naturally curly hair. She (and everyone there) is so friendly and happy to help. I loved the atmosphere! I will definitely be back and am thrilled to have a stylist who is experienced, professional, who really listened to me, and who was excellent in her color and cut skills. I think I've found my happy place! I saw Candy after a bad haircut and color from a nearby salon. She immediately knew what was wrong! She gave me a custom-blended color that looks much richer than what I walked in with. My previous cut was way too short in some areas. She fine-tuned the layers in just the right places, and we agreed that it needed a little more growth to achieve the look I want. I'm going back in 3 weeks for a root touch-up and some more fine-tuning of the cut. The shampoo chairs are so comfy and cozy! Better than anywhere else I've been. I am new to the area and have now been to the Lee Graves Salon for color and highlights three times. I am extremely picky when it comes to my hair. I called and talked to the receptionist who recommended Dawn. She did not disappoint. I loved my hair color from the start. Today, I asked her to change the color a bit from a warm blonde to a little more platinum (less gold). She nailed it again. By talking to Dawn the first time I went in, she put my mind at ease. She always asks what I have in mind, but I defer to her because she is always spot on with my color. I love her and the work she does! If I could give her a 10, I would!!! read more

A costly nightmare! I have spent countless hours at Lee Graves and bounced around from stylist to stylist landing in the owners chair to get my hair extensions "properly installed", which only became a painful experience. Photos from first install and $2000 dollars! Second photos 4 days after a "move up" which consists of moving the bead up causing painful matting. This was done by the OWNER who responded "because your hair is so fine it's normal" "I do not have time to do a reinstall" and refused any resolution. This place is a scam! Stylists including the owner are clearly not trained to do hair extensions! read more
