This place is trash. Don't know how they have 4 stars. Besides the owner being rude their clients are worse. Went with my 4 and 5 year old and some old lady had the audacity to speak nasty to me and my girls saying she was first. The clients here act like their don't stink. I read a lot of good reviews about Lee and yes he is attentive and good but not when it came to painting my nails. It does not have a smooth consistency look to it, and the filing could've been a little better. However the lady who did my pedicure was phenomenal. I love my toes and I recommend anyone to get the spa pedicure. Yes they do give you a quick massage while your nails dry and they are very friendly. However I will be going back again. I was there last Friday June 7th and received a spa pedicure and powder dip nails. I am completely unsatisfied with my powder dip, typically it is supposed to last 3 weeks. My nails are already coming off. The left thumb is completely gone and so is the right index and middle finger Also the application wasn't great after I left I noticed the inner top corners were not painted and it wasn't smooth. I am going to rate this place based on the average of the three criteria's: Parking: it is hard to find parking around here, it is a high traffic area. You might find parking on the side streets but might have to walk a bit. Customer service: the guy (he might be the owner/GM of this establishment) speaks english and can translate to the other ladies that work there of what the customer want. In general I think they are friendly. Service: this is based on my experience with the women (Anna) and (Fang). Anna used a drill bit to take off the top coat of my existing dip powder manicure. She used the drill bit that wasn't well suited for the removal of the top layer. The drill bit kept slipping off my nail bed and almost hurt my fingers. She doesn't seem very experienced at all. I express concern when she did this a couple of times during the removal. Then the woman Fang took over and she did my pedicure while my nails was wrapped to soak off the powder. I was not happy with her doing my pedicure. She didn't do good job in removing my cuticles and cuting/shaping my toe nails. It was a half ass job to as the least, especially scrubbing the bottom of my feet with the pumice stone tool. The polish went on sloppy and wasn't precisely applied. I originally was planning to do a dip powder manicure but changed my mind after seeing how she did my toes. I did gel manicure instead. She did a decent job on my fingers. Overall: Pros: a lot of color selection (both reg. Polished and powder/gel), generally friendly, price is average. Cons: didn't really do a great job in pedicure section, could definitely do better, didn't feel like it was clean when I was getting my pedicure done, parking isn't convenient, wasn't careful in using the drill bits. Also seem like everyone was requesting the woman Tracy, maybe if I had her my review would be different. read more

Haven't been here since pandemic and was still very pleased with the service and quality. I made an appointment for me and my friend at 2pm on a Thursday. My friend was seen right away and I waited about 5 mins for my nail technician. I loved how clean everything still is and the safety precautions they took. I'm super indecisive of my nail color from the large assortment of colors but they didn't mind me testing them out first. While my mom just gets a regular mani & pedi, I have recently been getting the dip gel mani and it is incredible. My nails NEVER chip and they last easily one month. When I go, I don't ask for anyone in particular, but the past few times Judy has done my nails and she is great. Everyone is extremely talented and friendly and I would 100% recommend going here. Decided to treat my mom and myself to get our nails done before a wedding, and I don't regret it at all! We live 10 minutes away. Surprised I've never been here before! My mom got the regular gel polish from Lee (the owner). She had a broken nail but he was able to fix it easily! It came out to be $ 27 + 2 ( for fixing the broken nail ). He was very fast and my mom loved the results! My mom and him had a nice conversation about their children and the area. I got the an ombré dip powder acrylic set for $60 from Tracy (Lee's wife). Tracy was amazing! She helped me pick out the color (after I showed her a picture of nail inspo I liked) and was super quick and professional. A lot of color choices. I drove to Bayside from Long Island to get my nails done because my friend recommended this place. I don't go out often to get my nails done, so I felt like this place was worth a try. I wasn't disappointed. My friend and I had called a few days ahead to make an appointment for 6:15 on a Tuesday. As soon as we got there, we were helped immediately. I got gel polish and it was a very fast process. While my nails were drying, the owner gave me a back massage. He was very patient with me and explained to me the difference between powder gel and regular gel nail polish. I just wish that they would've sat me and my friend next to each other to make it easier to talk since there wasn't anyone else around anyway. The environment was very calm. Some of the nail techs talk and try to get to know you, but it was a comfortable silence too. I feel like my appointment was rushed because there was someone in the chair waiting. I understand, but i AM paying too and would've liked a bit more attention given to my nails. My friend said she got her finger cut while she got her nails done. She was very pleased that her chipped nail was able to be fixed with silk. The spray for the silk did burn when she got it though. I got my gel for $22. Lee's is my go to nail salon. I like it so much that I drive to Queens to get my nails done. The prices are a little higher than other salons in Queens but you're really getting quality here! This place is clean and I appreciate that they use the plastic cover in the pedicure bath. Plus, they have a ton of SNS powder gel, and gel nail colors so I always find a color that i'm happy with. The lady who did my nails, did a very nice job. This was last Friday, August 24th. The young woman who did my pedicure, well I don't blame her, she was looking to be distracted. And my feet are hypersensitive. I tried to explain to her several different times in several different ways, as she wasn't getting it. Oh, by the way, all the polishes she handed he to choose from, there was nowhere to put them, & she wasn't taking them back, so the next client on the next pedicure station, that manicurist had to take care of them. So she was holding my feet wrong the entire time. I know, not only because I've had pedicures many places in the US, but because it hurt, felt like it was getting nothing accomplished, & I've have studied manicuring in school, & to top it all off that night in bed the entire bottoms of my feet were catching on the covers. Anyway, I've gone back every day, & talked to the owner. Once at closing time, as I didn't know their hours. Once a half hour earlier, once a half hour earlier than that, & so on. Each time the owner said I must come earlier than that. I was there at 5:30 PM today. There were customers sitting & waiting. There was one waiting seat available. I took it. The owner was busy doing a manicure. He looked up & said I want my feet softer. I said I want all the rough pieces she left on the bottom smoothed. He said I was a liar & that she did a proper manicure. I said I'm going to a different salon & I left. I split the charge on Friday between two credit cards. I had wanted the pedicure on one, the hands on the other. We had gone back & forth, & he still did it his own way. I'm going to ask my credit card company if I can get the money back on the pedicure part. I was prepared since the beginning to pay him the extra for the rough soles. He had told me the first time I came back I would have to pay another fee. I was prepared to give a tip again too. Apparently he doesn't want my business. He can contact me here, if he changes his mind. I'm off to find a salon now. Oh, I forgot to tell you the following part. The first time I came back the other day, he tried to say the pedicure was longer ago. He's not an honest man. And he's never looked at motor touched my feet nor asked any 9f his workers to check. I understand he's either closing or working or has too much pride, but I would never want that young woman working for me if I had a salon. Edit 6:13 PM August 28th 2018 I just called my credit card company. They offered me a full refund, nothing less! PS I'm about to walk into another salon to "finish his job" now. And I forgot to tell you that when he first looked up at me today he said I want a change of polish. What a numb skull! PPS The next salon (it's 6:28 PM now) looked at my feet, & said a little pumice stone would do the job, as I have very nice soft feet. It's nice to get a compliment, after how I was treated by Lee. The stone was $2. How do you add a pic? I don't see it on Edit. I took a pic to post with this. PPPS I hate giving a bad review. As you see by my previous reviews to other places, it's not my style. Love how creative they are! I always get gel mani & pedi done there bi-weekly and my nails are not damaged bc the owner took such good care of them when he removed the gel. Unlike other nail salon that I 'be been to they use the machine file down the top gel coat for easier removal and save money on the materials spent on the costumers (always have the tech use aluminum foils wrap with cotton nail removed, never allows anyone to file down your nails) highly recommend this place. read more

Eh. $8 mani so you get what you pay for. Picked a color and it came out SO streaky and sheer. So sheer that I can see the white part of my nail which I hate because I have almond shaped nails so I can't even try to pull it off as a French manicure lol. All the other places I've been to, the nail tech would warn saying oh that's sheer or something. This one just put on two coats and called it a day. I asked for a third coat which HELPED so much. But even then it looks like a bad job. I shape my own nails so I just got my cuticles cut and pushed back; not bad. But I'm definitely painting my nails myself when I get home. read more

The location is a big plus for me. It's close to my place and not crowded at all as compared to flushing. The staff is nice and friendly. Price is very decent. You get what you pay- and I do think that is very much the case here. I come here often on the days I'm in Bayside since it's close by and they have great hours. For the cheap prices, you get pretty good quality manis and pedis. I never had to wait too long and they have a very friendly staff. The reason that I'm only giving it three stars is that much too often than not, I get cuts and abrasions from their services. In two separate occasions during pedicures, they buffed the skin OFF the side of my foot when the sandpaper buffer slipped from the bottom of my foot. Obviously, that leaves an annoyingly painful, open cut but this eventually left a scar. Even during manicures, in several cases, my cuticles were ripped off too much and left little cuts that bled. In one occasion, the staff had to stop and put ointment on it. Perhaps these are minor things but these cuts are annoying, as they sting and irritate until they heals and often, they scar as well. And by now, it has happened too many times for me to feel like it one-time accidents. So again, yes you get what you pay and I do genuinely believe that for the price, you get great manis and pedis, but I don't think any nail salon should be roughly causing this many minor cuts and such, regardless of how cheap the prices are. read more

I am a new client to this nail salon (today was my third visit), and have started having my nails done here initially because the location is much closer to my current residence. The salon is a basic nail salon, they take your temperature at the door and ask you to sanitize your hands with Purell type antibacterial gel (they provide it) before completely entering, There is plexiglass at each mani station separating the clients from the manicurists, the pedi chairs have clear shower curtains around them and they use the sink liners in the pedi sinks. It seems they are adhering to the basic NYC DOH protocols. The Lemon spa pedi is lovely and includes a 20 minute massage, paraffin heel treatment, post-massage hot stone rub, exfoliating leg scrub, mud mask for legs. The prices are average for the area, the SNS powder mani is done very well and they offer many color options. The also give you a card they mark each visit and after a certain number of service you get something free. I recommend Lee Nails, the quality and service are very good so far! read more

This is the fourth time I've been here to get my nails done and the first time I tried powder gel (I typically get a regular gel mani). I loved how efficient and peaceful my past experiences have been and thus was excited to get my prom nails done here since I was confident in their service. However, I'm really not sure what happened today! The lady I was given seemed to not know what she was doing at all. One of my nails had broken off so it needed an extension and when I asked for an almond shape she gave me a coffin and Lee had to come and fix it. She then didn't know how to turn on the file machine and he had to come again and tell her that it wasn't plugged in. Like...seriously? Then I was telling her the extension was crooked and hurt when pressed on but she just looked at me and nodded and then didn't do anything. What really really bugged me is that she made me bleed in TWO fingers! My ring finger was bleeding more than my pinky and she wiped the blood off with a dry tissue and then proceeded to dip it into the powder like no big deal!!! Soooo unsanitary. I was very very disappointed with my experience today and will definitely be going somewhere else. I would give it one star but this was the first super bad experience I've had out of all of mine but nonetheless I will not be coming back. read more
