Joy does NOT have the ability to do your work for you and lastly Joy does NOT by any means sell herself short on the services that she provides. Joy, you are an absolute god send. Seriously.... I have been thru various counseling all of my life but that didn't resolve my issues nor did it really give me the tools needed to actually resolve them. So since I had tried that previously and pretty much got the same result, I knew I had to try something different. So, what did I do? I went to my trusty yelp and reached out and received several responses. I had a few phone interviews because I needed to find the right person to help me thru some heavy stuff. I liked Joy right off the bat. You can simply tell by the tone in her voice that she is an angel. I signed up for 6 sessions with Joy...and after my 6th session, I signed up for 6 more. And I threw Joy some crazy challenges (nothing in my life has EVER been easy)....there were issues that she flat out told me she couldn't do anything about (I appreciate the honestly more than you know) and there were some issues where I really feel like I challenged her but guess what? SHE NEVER GAVE UP ON ME. SHE NEVER TOLD ME SHE COULDN'T WITHOUT AN EXPLANATION (again she doesn't have a magic wand). Instead what I received was far far greater than any gift...Joy gave me the tools I needed to see where my deficiencies came from and also gave me some positive insight as to how to fix the behaviors and this is something I now work on EVERY SINGLE DAY and it's made me a better person. So if you feel like you are stuck, and don't know where to go, and you have tried traditional methods (and they haven't really worked) I would seriously urge you to give Joy a call...set up and appointment and more importantly work on your (O&*%(Q*&)%(. It is challenging to get anywhere in 4 sessions with a new coach, but I was surprised by the amount of ground we covered. I could have probably used 8 sessions with Jessica, and would have happily done that but due to finances this was what I could afford. Jessica's style was more directive and she offered greater guidance than other coaches I've tried (where sessions meander and lack progress). I liked that. Her services are more expensive than others out there (the only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars), but she is a very good life coach and anyone who works with her is bound to benefit. The very first session that I had with Jessica, I wanted to work on my relationship to divine partnership. This was a concept that Jessica was perfectly able to speak into. Very quickly she let me empty all of the thoughts that I had in my head out.. all of my complaints, beliefs, self-talk, etc. She gently guided me through my body to begin to discover the truths that I was working with inside. Much of it was discover of the answers that were in my body, waiting to be heard. The whole time, Jessica was tuned into my field and was able to give me a beautiful and accurate reflection of what was happening inside me. This skillset of hers greatly helped my navigation of my own energetic and emotional landscape, as if felt like I had another set of eyes seeing inside myself. Jessica works on a quantum level with her clients, so expect some quantum weirdness (as in surprise miracles). I found her skillset to be far advanced from what you might get from the average therapist/coach. This was profound stuff, and she was able to navigate it simply and economically with time. My second session I wanted to work with her on body image, my relationship to beauty, my own sense of self-love, and my relationship to the marketplace of single life. This was a subtle issue for me, as I've done a lot of work on it, do healing work on other people around it, and know it well. Trite answers were not going to be enough for it. Jessica was able to reveal more of the structure of my thinking and what agreements and ideas had anchored unuseful paradigms in place. Jessica again used so much of the intelligence that was already alive in my body and in my field. She was able to navigate the hologram of my reality adeptly, moving very quickly to the juice of it. Even more important... my body has been amazingly tingly all the way through each session. Usually within 5-10 minutes of talking to her, I already feel my body beginning to release and go into an energy shift with lots of yawning and tearing up at my eyes. This is always a sure-fire way for me to know something is lifting. Truly a gem. You will not find an experience of this caliber in many places. Worth driving to or working over the internet with. I live in Portland, OR and I am glad that I can connect with her over the internet.

I had worked with Sabrina in the past and after years of struggling and as I have gotten older, I knew I had to reach out to her. I have always been active and I workout every day so that was not an issue for me. But I was still slowly and steadily gaining weight. I have tried every meal plan and/or diet you can think of spending hundreds of dollars a week on food and hours in the kitchen meal prepping, and nothing worked long term. I reached out to Sabrina in September and started working with her a week or so after my initial call. She made a few tweaks to my diet and my exercise routine, and the weight began to come off. We worked together until the middle of January. During our time working together I lost 20lbs. OVER. THE. HOLIDAYS. I am a social person, and food is always a part of that, so the holidays are especially challenging. If I can lose 20lbs over the holidays, anyone can. Since finishing my last session with Sabrina I have continued to lose weight. It doesn't come off as fast because I am not super focused on it, but that is what I love. It has felt easy to just keep doing what I am doing. The changes she made to my diet fit easily into my lifestyle. I finally feel like I am not on a diet, I have just changed the way I eat, and I am spending less money on food and spending less time on meal prepping than I was before working with her. I was placed on an assignment with an engineering company and was let go. I was initially told by Regina AND the engineering company that it was due to lack of work. My days with the engineering company consisted of me asking for work to do and waiting around all day/week for work. I've reached out to Regina to ask for a new assignment but was told to stay with the company because they "really liked me" and "they're a great company". However, I'm now being told otherwise. After my departure from the Engineering company, I applied for EDD benefits, reason being: lack of work. Now I am told I will be losing my benefits as it was not due to lack of work as I was told. It's due to my performance. I reached back to Regina and was told "she had reached out to the company again after my assignment ended and was told they've changed their reasoning from lack of work to performance issues." All this which I was not notified of. Not from Regina, not from the engineering company while I was there. I find this very unprofessional as someone, ANYONE could've told me the truth but here we are going back and forth playing the blame game. Don't get me wrong, Regina is VERY nice and attentive but this whole situation is unacceptable and unprofessional. As Regina being my recruiter, I would've expected to be updated about this information and now I'll be losing my benefits and having to reimburse unemployment all because I wasn't told "they've changed their mind on their reason" whether it's the truth or not, I DON'T KNOW.

When I came to Dr. Wong Lerner, I needed help with my speech for the purpose of my work, and to develop my career. But I gained so much more. Dr. Wong Lerner conducted a very thorough evaluation of my speech to start, and then a couple of weeks later went over an "Accent spectrum" report that had all of the areas of speech that needed attention. What impressed and still impresses me about Dr. WL's expertise of speech, working with ESL people, and language (she has a passive knowledge of Chinese and some other languages) is that she knows so much in so many different areas. But also, it's the way she makes me feel safe and comfortable with this process of re-learning English for my job and my personal growth that would have otherwise been very difficult for me. I have already shifted my speech from a very closed mouth and not being able to pronounce many different consonants and vowels and words, to now where I have moved past much of that and I am learning speech patterns, and more complicated aspects of speech.
