Okay , let me just start off by saying this is by far is the best Staffing Servicing Company I have ever worked with . I had a tough time finding a job when I moved back to the Rocklin Area from the Bay Area . I needed a job FAST and one that paid relatively well since my living situation changed so fast and rent was coming up. I met with Gillian Strong, and right off the bat I felt super comfortable with her and I explained my situation and what I was looking for . Within less then a month (after many job interviews else where ) she found me a perfect match with a Home Builder just down the street from my house ! Great pay, friendly employer , and challenging work environment. Literally everything I was looking for . Gillian guided me through the process as well as answered all of my questions. She was always up for a phone call to talk about any concerns I had or just to check up on me . I was hired full time , and when I was hired Gillian sent me the sweetest card congratulating me . I was laid off from my job at a large accounting firm in Rancho Cordova after 7 years due to Covid. I am in my 50's so had planned on retiring there, not to mention the thought of looking for a new job at my age during a pandemic was daunting. I posted my resume on various sites and was contacted by several agencies. They would get me overly excited with promises of wonderful opportunities and then I would never hear from them again. I was finally referred to Ultimate staffing by my former HR Manager and that is when the tables turned! Nicole Pittaro was my first point of contact, and she responded very quickly to set up a video meeting. Nicole had an engaging and encouraging energy and we had a great discussion to go over my experience and desires. Later that same day I received calls from at least 3 of her team members introducing themselves and letting me know they were going to be working hard to find me a job! I felt a renewed sense of hope and felt my confidence growing. THE NEXT DAY, Heidi Fretwell from Ultimate called me with an opportunity! I told her I was interested, and she got me an interview the next day. By early the next week I reported to my new/first assignment. I have been on the job for four months and just accepted a permanent job offer! From the moment I reached out to Ultimate and throughout this whole process, the team has been nothing short of exceptional. David was my main point of contact. I have checked in like they tell you. I have talked to two people at Roseville location and at the Sacramento office with no follow through. I decided to write this review after talking to two other persons who experienced the same level of service. I'm simply warning you that if you choose Ultimate Staffing, there is a good chance your best interest will not be represented and you may go weeks on end without hearing anything from the company. I am very disappointed in the experience I had here. At first everything seemed great, the staff had me come in and fill out a profile, create a video and take the testing necessary to create a job portfolio. Everyone acted like they were excited to help me find a job as I had just moved to the area and was having some trouble networking. The first few days they had about two possible job choices which both fell through before an interview was even set in place. After that I was not contacted again, I had to reach out to them(even though I was told I would be updated weekly). When I did contact them, they seemed very uninterested to help me further. I do understand if they had no openings for me at that time, but they still need to make your case seem important to them and stick to their word of weekly updates. Just a call or e-mail saying they were still trying to find me something would have been nice. After about three weeks of hearing nothing I was able to find myself a good job with better pay than anything they had suggested for me. read more

I have been with other staffing agencies that did absolutely nothing except send a paycheck. It was great working for Ultimate, you would actually hear from them. Ultimate has a local branch in addition to great online resources. I think it is important to remember that it is not your agency's responsibility to get you a job, you have to be your own advocate. It is also not their job to get you hired on by your company once you are in a position. Ultimate has many job opportunities and they fit the right candidate with the right position. Once I applied for a temp to hire position at Ultimate they contacted me frequently with updates on the position. I was eventually offered a position and after 7 months the company decided to hire me on. I am very happy that Ultimate introduced me to this position and supported me though the process. read more

When I went in to meet Daphne, she said she wasn't sure if she could find me a position, as I had no experience in my current field. But she took a chance on me, helped me perfect my resume and before I even got home that day, she called me with two opportunities and I landed a job within the week. And the support doesn't stop after you're hired. This team is extremely accessible and hard-working for their employees. This is by far the worst staffing agency I've been too. I came in interviewed with them and did a video, I got a call to do a interview with a call center at the auto mall in Roseville and then received another call that it was cancelled. So I never heard back again. Now when I call ultimate staffing they tell me that one of the girls said that I did not show up to the interview and that I was terminated from their agency which I really don't care because their agency is not one to work with. read more

I loved working with Ultimate Staffing! The only reason i am not still with them is because I ended up finding a permanent full time position. But they were there with me and for me every step of the way. If a job wasnt going to work for me, they didnt make me feel bad or anything they accepted that it wouldnt work and found me other stuff instead. The whole experience was very enjoyable. I took three jobs from them and worked for them about a year, working with Connie and Annie, who are both great AND they communicate with one another so if I called Connie about something she knew usually what was going on because she was in contact with Annie. and vice versa. I was first sent to Daphne but she was unable to assist me so David Marcik took over my interview and helped me instead. David Marcik took his time to get to know my interests and talents based on my background history and the interview. He then placed me in a job that contained several pieces I looked for in a job. Throughout my contracted period, David took his time to make sure I was looked after and answered every question that came to my mind. Ultimate Staffing also makes you feel appreciated and makes you feel like family. During the holidays, they send holiday cards sending their best wishes.
