Now they have made some updates and improvements since then but they still have that same feel and nostalgia of how it was. For the most part, it is what you'd expect: food and drinks are priced pretty high, seats aren't super big, but it has decent parking nearby so that's a plus. Usually we go here for a few Sabres games, Bandits games, and a couple of concerts every year. We've been lucky enough to take a tour of the locker rooms and even skate on the ice for some special events. As much as people hope for a new arena like the new, incoming Bills stadium, I like this old arena and all it's quirks. Don't come here hungry and make sure you get there early for a good parking spot.

Everything now is expensive but $15 for a salad or $6.75 for a pop doesn't seem right. They also only take card and you check out on your own, but there are attendants to help and it seemed a lot of people needed them.

We showed up around the bottom of the 4th and got tickets at the box office (there was no line at that point). The person helping us wasn't the fastest worker but was nice enough to help us pick where we wanted to sit. I picked a spot with a lot of empty seats around us. I have anxiety in crowds and that was our plan to have space next to both of us. I asked the person at the box office which entrance to go to and they said any one bc they were all open. So we went to the Oak St entrance. Got there and security wouldn't let us in because it was closed (and had been closed for some time). I asked them to notify the box office w/ their radio because there were some people in line who were going to do the same thing. They replied "you can tell them on your way back." . We walked over to the Swan St entrance, walked in and found a concession stand by our section. We stood in line for an ENTIRE inning with only about 8 people in line in front of us when we got in line. We got to the front, ordered and waited for our food. After we got everything else, they told us they were out of pretzels and that we had to go to another stand. So we did. And they were out of pretzals too. So we went back and they comped us a burger instead, which was another 5 minute wait. Mind you - the signs they have up for food/beverage are not the correct prices and guest services said that it was because they "didn't order the new signage yet" (kinda thought this was illegal?). We were still in decent spirits though so we went to find out seats. We got to our seats and there were people in them. I let them know they were in our seats and they made a bunch of excuses and moved two spaces (sitting right next to me). They were clearly not supposed to be in our section and were extremely loud and constantly bumping into me. I couldn't focus and was pretty annoyed because we specifically picked seats that weren't next to anyone on purpose. But I didn't want to involve anyone at that point and make a scene. By the end of the 8th we ended up moving to the wall in the last row because I couldn't take it anymore. From the time we sat down in the 6th inning until the end of the game, I didn't see single beer/snack person in the stands. I waited for them that whole time because I didn't want to spend anymore time in line at that point. But it's possible that they stop at the 7th. All in all, the experience was pretty terrible. I get that we came in late but it shouldn't take two innings to buy a ticket, walk in and get a hotdog. The game itself was good and that helped a lot. But I wish they had their operations down better. It made me not want to go anymore and I used to love going to Bisons games.

Tuesdays are awesome because there's $2 hotdogs (at 2 concessions ... don't go to the small stands with hot dogs and beer as they are full price there). I sit in section 112 and one of the concessions is at that entrance. They also have wine slushees here which are excellent, but now right lethal! Drink with caution lol! They sneak up on you! Friday nights they have great fireworks that last about 15 minutes. There are many other promotional game options ... they are available per schedule and you can look them up! Parking is expensive IMO, so I like to use the park and ride myself! The metro rail will drop you off in an easy walking distance and take you back after the game ($4 round trip last I took it, versus $20 and up parking near the stadium). I believe it's Seneca Station you get off at ... you'll know when you arrive as you'll see other baseball-goers getting off at the stop. Go Bisons!

First time I came here it was bad too, overly salted popcorn and the bathrooms are so disgusting so I thought to give it another try. Today bathrooms were still gross, dirty and smells so bad, popcorn was ok but cold and kinda old. The theater was so small and dirty as well. They are running some truly inspiring programs there, and ALSO are renting out the facility as event space! I spoke to a women who got married there and she said it was incredible. If you are looking for an interesting program to get involved with, OR an unforgettable space for your next event, look no further!

I came here to see the museum (on first floor) but did not have a chance to see the club…read more(upstairs). This building is on the national register of historic places. The museum was fantastic, truly a hidden gem and full of lots of local music history. George Scott, the president of the museum, gave us a tour and he shared incredible stories that really brought the history into modern day context. There are several exhibits, including: - a timeline that follows the evolution of American music. Each genre is associated with a time period and has a number, which can be punched into a sound stick so you can hear songs from that era. This exhibit would be interesting to both children and adults. - Buffalo connection to many nationally known musicians - History of the Local 533 union (American Federation of Musicians), who started the Colored Musicians Club. - interactive sound recording studio stations - an interactive band exhibit - and more! I can't say enough great things about how interesting this museum is, and I can't believe how many nationally recognized musicians had a Buffalo connection. I highly recommend the museum, and I actually would love to go back so I could spend more time with the interactive exhibits. It's great for all ages. What they do on Star Wars Night is just magical- there are so many adults that come, dress up, engage with the kids, take pics with them, and of course, create the videos, and perform in the massive on-field light saber fight! Their dedication and time is what makes this event an amazing, must-see each year. Buffalo is truly blessed to have this team- we get to watch pretty good baseball (Ok, this year it was a blowout and we lost!) and more importantly- a family can go to a game, indulge in allll the goodies, and NOT go broke! We always get hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy- you name it. We FEAST! It's once a year, so we go all out- and honestly, we don't break the bank. There is NO professional baseball game you can watch where you can go, get tickets, buy all the food you want, and afford it. But here, we can enjoy everything to the fullest and all for less than probably one ticket to a Blue Jays game =D. Whether you like sports or baseball or not, it's a good time. If you are not a baseball fan, you should go to a game where there is a theme- take your dog to the park, Star Wars, etc. Because even if you don't enjoy the game, you will enjoy the experience and it's a fun way to spend an evening or afternoon. I simply adore going to see the Bisons, and I hope my son continues to love to go, so we can keep this tradition going.
