Go Sabres!! KeyBank Center, where the Buffalo Sabres play, is a decent place to catch a hockey game. It's in a good spot near Canalside, and it's easy to get to with some cool views around the area. I've only been to the Kia center in Orlando, and the rink in Tampa for Hockey. It was an awesome experience being in my team's home rink! The energy of my people during the game was spectacular! We didn't win the game, but Buffalo definitely has the winning spirit! read more

Fun times at the rink. Glad I caught a win because with this team who knows. As always, good hockey and a great crowd to back them up.

The Sabres have a really roller coaster season. Big losses and big wins. We were there when they beat the Redwings, BIG. Within a minute the Sabres already scored. It was a very exciting game with a great result, a 7-3 win! The Sabres really want you to have a great time. There are plenty of things going on before the game and between the periods. Sabre Tooth shoots t-shirts into the audience for instance and there is live music. Thanks to WGR radio we were in a suite. What a great way to watch the game. Very comfortable seats, a refrigerator with a variety of cold drinks and food. Pizza, wings, chips and dip, fried chicken strips and churros for a sweet treat. All guests of WGR radio also left with a signed mini helmet. We had a great evening. read more

This team is absolutely terrible. I feel so bad for Jack Eichel. I was at the Sabres game recently and saw them blow a 4-1 lead to the Tampa Bay Lightning only to see the players shuffle off to the locker room while their captain and only decent player worth anything sat on the bench FUMING. You should be ashamed of yourselves, it's been 9-10 years since the playoffs and you are wasting the career of your 3rd best pLayer (arguably) in franchise history, effectively lighting his talent on fire. The 90's teams showed up every night and played hard and tough and HONEST every night. Good leaders, good coaching and organizational trust. This group is a joke and I hate this team. No faith that they will even try every night, the GM does nothing, the coach thinks of pretty new things to say, and it's the same show and a new day (Groundhog Day maybe). I compare this team to the Rex Ryan or Dick Jouron Bills. Can't even watch them because I hate them so much, but have to remain a fan... I'm 37 years old, could you stop wasting all our lives and give us something to enjoy. BTW, the ingame entertainment is pathetic as well. DJ asking the kids to floss for 10 minutes. That's about it...oh and enjoy the broken seats you overpaid for...oH and enjoy the La Nova pizza that tastes like cardboard tomato paste (it's not really la nova) oh and enjoy the terrible goal sonG that has been played out long ago...this team has never recovered since Ryan Miller got steamrolled by Milan Lucic. Hasn't resembled a competitive team since that day. Even Lindy Ruff gave up trying. They are bad at recognizing their legends current and past, they are bad at providing a good fan atmosphere, they are bad at drafting and developing players and most of all...they are bad at hockey. It's been a while since we went to a Sabres game and we had a great time! Home opener and the team played great even though they lost. The mood is upbeat throughout the game and the between the period entertainment was a lot of fun. Will be back this season, not sure when...food choices have been upgraded and lots of choices. The Sabres are always a good time out with family and friends! Not a bad seat in the house and so much entertainment! There is nothing better than watching a hockey game live from the stands! Make sure to check out the organist, dj's and of course Sabretooth running around the stadium giving out prizes or banging his drum to the legendary Let's Go Buffalo chant! There is plenty of parking at multiple price levels, my suggestion is always get there early to avoid traffic lines. read more

OMG what a un-entertaining experience. No Sabre Dance....they brought back an organist that plays just at the beginning. Totally stupid contests throughout the game give it a minor league feel. Lazy and sloppy hockey is the worst I've seen since I started watching the Sabres in 1971. Players can't even complete a pass. The whole Sabre culture is as long gone as the Aud! I've been a fan all my life and every time they are in a bad place I think "hey maybe they will bounce back" but after 8 years of saying "oh they will get to the playoffs next year" I can't deal with it anymore. Jack is the only consistent player who works his ass off out there and gets no help from the rest of his team! Pegula said he wanted to get us a cup.
