Buffalo Bills at beginning of playoff game against the Kansas City Chiefs on 1/23/2022. One the best NFL games ever. #BillsMafia
    Daniel B.

The Buffalo Bills have always been one of my favorite AFC teams. I can't explain all the reasons why, but some include: 1. I like underdogs. The Bills are one of 12 active NFL teams to never win a Super Bowl. The Bills made it to four consecutive Super Bowls from 1991 to 1994 (Super Bowls XXV, XXVI, XXVII, and XXVIII) and lost all four times. The Bills are tied with the Minnesota Vikings for the most Super Bowl appearances (4) without a win. 2. One of the former head coaches at my alma mater Georgia Tech (2002-2007), Chan Gailey, was head coach of the Bills for the 2010 through 2012 seasons. "CCG," as he was often referred to on Georgia Tech message boards, went a disappointing 16-32 (.333) in Buffalo. Oh well. While Gailey never led the Bills to the NFL playoffs, he did lead Tech to a winning season and bowl game appearance in all six of his seasons in Atlanta. He was Calvin Johnson's college coach. 3. One of my good friends has roots in the Buffalo area and is a Bills fan. 4. Bills fans, a.k.a. #BillsMafia, is a fun group to watch on social media. Their tailgating shenanigans are funny. After going 0-4 in the Super Bowl in the first half of the 90s, the Bills would continue qualify for the postseason under head coaches Marv Levy and Wade Phillips. Then came a 17-year playoff drought (2000-2016) that saw 10 different head coaches roll through Buffalo, including the aforementioned Gailey. Enter Sean McDermott in 2017 and exit Tom Brady from New England after the 2019 season. The McDermott-era Bills have made the playoffs all seasons but one (2018) and they've just won back-to-back AFC East Division Championships (2020 and 2021). These modern-day Bills, led by 2017 draft pick Tre'Davious White (corner) and 2018 draft pick Josh Allen (QB) plus the 2020 addition of Stefon Diggs via trade, have been fun to watch. The Bills ended their last two playoff runs against the Kansas City Chiefs. In 2021 (2020 season), the Bills got off to a 9-0 start in the 1st quarter, but then sputtered to a 38-24 loss in the AFC Championship Game. In 2022 (2021 season), the Bills and Chiefs played one of the most memorable NFL games in recent memory, a 42-36 Chiefs win in overtime. The final two minutes of regulation saw four lead changes and 25 points scored: https://youtu.be/ZyXnCPbK6NI. It was wild. The Chiefs won in large part because they won the overtime coin toss. I had Stefon Diggs on multiple fantasy football teams when he was in Minnesota. The trade from the Vikings to the Bills has worked out well for both him and Buffalo. In 2020, Diggs was the NFL receptions and receiving yards leader and he was named to the All-Pro First Team. His two Pro Bowl appearances have come as a Bill (2020, 2021).

Buffalo is a true football town. Win, lose, or draw they go hard for their team and right now the future is bright. This football team is stacked with young talent, that will be a problem for the foreseeable future. I was lucky enough to get out to a game this season, and though they didn't win, it was probably the best game I've ever seen live.

The Buffalo Bills the AFC East Yelp Challenge 74/100 I reviewed all the NFL teams whoop whoop. The best positive has to be the hiring of Rex Ryan. The next best thing is trading for "Shady". Let's be honest you guys need a QB. I was really surprised Mark "Butt Fumble" Sanchez didn't sign with you guys. Give the fans the offensive power of the 90's. You have your Thurman Thomas and Andre Reed. All you need now is a Jim Kelly. Too bad you guys got rid of Stevie Johnson, he was wasted on the 49ers last year E.J Manuel and Matt Castle, ugh me no like it. Add a rookie to the mix and make those clowns earn their money. I'd be worried, if I was you guys. You have Matt Cassel a has been and EJ Manuel a guy who never was. Can you tell me Bills fans, are you guys okay with that? Well it's going to be a fun season with Rex Ryan regardless. I'm looking forward to watching the Bills play four times this year 2 x vs Pats and 2 x vs Jets. If you have only ever attempted to shop The Bills Store on game day, you may currently believe this…read moreplace is a psychological endurance test disguised as a retail experience. It is loud. It is crowded. It is chaotic. It is where patience goes to be humbled. But listen. That is not The Bills Store's fault. That is just Bills Mafia being Bills Mafia. On a non-game day, however? This place is pure, peaceful, glorious blue-and-red heaven. I popped in a few days before Christmas to grab a couple of sweaters and was immediately distracted by what can only be described as the most futuristic checkout system I have ever seen in my natural human life. You bag your own items, place the bag into what appears to be a magical countertop portal, and -- I am not exaggerating -- the store just knows what you bought. No scanning. No nonsense. The bag goes in, the total appears, and suddenly you're questioning whether wizards, genies, or extremely intelligent raccoons are now employed at Highmark. I don't know what kind of engineering sorcery went into this system, but whoever invented it definitely got an A+ and a handshake from the professor. And now for the important stuff -- this store has everything. Official everything. Shirts. Hoodies. Jackets. Hats. Scarves. Pants. Seasonal gear. Game-day pins. Things you didn't know you needed but will absolutely leave with anyway because your inner Bills fan whispered, "Do it. We deserve this." And yes -- it feels good shopping here. Maybe it's just in my heart, maybe it's in my imagination, maybe it's in the collective emotional contract between fans and the team -- but it truly feels like you're supporting the players, their families, their pets, their children, and possibly someone's grandma when you buy from the official store. I don't need to fact-check this. Let me live. Bottom line: On game day, this place is an extreme sport. On non-game days, it is an absolute dream. Go. Shop. Respect the magic checkout portal. And leave with at least one more item than you planned to buy -- because that is the Bills Mafia way. Josh Allen, if you're reading this: I tried to make you proud.

The line snaked around the entire store - still, it moved super fast and we probably only waited 10 minutes if that. They didn't have a lot of the items I saw on the website when pre-shopping - so I only bought two hats. Selection was large for men but virtually nothing for women and children. Beautiful store and friendly staff. Amazing checkout process where you put the items in the bag while waiting and when you go up to pay you just put the entire bag in a holder and it scans everything at one and gives you the total. It's cashless so you have to pay via Apple Pay or card. Boom, done in just seconds. Loved it. Very high tech.

This time, I was looking for Sabres playoff clothing and gear. Don't get me wrong, they have all Buffalo based teams and lots of local Buffalo stuff. The people working were very nice, both greeting when you enter and thanking you when you leave with a robust "Go Sabres". I settled on some Sabres earrings and a sweatshirt for some gifts as well as a hoodie for myself. The pricing here is affordable, unlike some of their competitors. If you're looking for something local and Buffalo themed, stop in, there's plenty of options that won't break the bank.

I really appreciated the variety in addition to the fact the store is pretty much set up like a holiday market with various vendors creating gifts/products and the store selling them. I stopped in to check the store out and do some browsing but did not make any purchases and was not greeted or helped by any of the employees so I cannot speak to the service too much. In terms of value, I thought the majority of the prices were reasonable and the DIY/homemade component of many of the products just improved the value! They're getting their item back in perfect unused shape and want to take extra money from you for an accident? This winter break, I found a gorgeous sequined Bills jacket (blue base, red sleeves) priced at $217. They were offering 25% off Bills gear at the time, but I wanted to think it over before making the purchase. Laux had the same with colors reversed for $115 but I prefer the jacket to be more of the blue than red. *The one pictured is the Laux one. Unfortunately, due to a flight issue, I wasn't able to return to the store as planned before leaving town. On January 2nd, I emailed the store explaining the situation and inquiring about having the jacket shipped. I received no response. I sent a follow-up email and again got no reply. I finally called the store to explain what happened and asked if they would honor the sale price since I had tried contacting them earlier. The woman said that they don't ship if it's not listed in the website, which is fair.I even mentioned I have a relative who could pick it up for me. The response? They wouldn't honor the sale price as the sale is over. I understand policies, but the lack of response to my emails and unwillingness to assist a repeat customer felt like poor customer service as I attempted to get in contact with them during the sale. I've always enjoyed shopping here, but this experience has left questioning if I will be back or recommend it to others.
