Great seats thanks to my son

Well It was Father's Day, what a better place to take your husband to a Ball Game. It's been a few years and wow they made some improvements to the ball park. We were seated right behind home plate. Thank goodness for the net, some balls came flayling back at us. We have the new green seats. They seem bigger and more comfortable. The food was pretty much you want it they got it. We of course opted for the usual, hot dog, fries, popcorn and drinks. My son opted for a few beers. All different flavors loganberry and peach. He likes the flavors. Unfortunately, it was a rainy day so we only stayed a few innings. We will be back, hopefully when they win, better weather and maybe some fireworks. Price is a great value for the family.

The Buffalo Bisons have an enjoyable ballpark, but not my favorite of the accessible minor league parks within "day tripping"-distance (which I consider to be 4 hours/one way or less). I was back here just a couple days ago to watch the Bisons play the SWB RailRiders. After having been to Rochester (Frontier Field) just a couple nights before, going to Coca-Cola Field seemed like a bit of a step down. Don't get me wrong... Coca-Cola Field has enjoyable aspects. Parking around the stadium seems to be plentiful (though I paid extra for parking in a garage right across the street from the main entrance gate). There are also concessions placed around the stadium that provide standard ballgame fare, though there's also a stand or two that provide healthier alternatives. Personally, I enjoyed a loaded Italian sausage sandwich. It was decent... nothing I would clamor for again, but it fulfilled my craving. Perhaps the most entertaining aspect of watching a Bisons game is being able to watch the collection of mascots, all of whom seem to be having a great time providing entertainment during the game. That said, the team store could be more inviting, because it seems pretty cramped in there. Also, the stadium generally feels a bit dingier than some others I've been to recently. Decent legroom in the stands though. Overall, you win some/you lose some with this stadium. TL;DR Tickets are cheap, and there are few things better than having some time to visit a local ballpark during the season. I would probably pick visiting a couple other more accessible stadiums over Buffalo, but it's still fun to visit and see the Bisons play.

How fun to spend opening weekend enjoying our first Bison's game. A double-header, lots of sunshine, a pork cone (another first) & good craft beer. Will definitely be back. Go Bisons!

One of the largest ballparks in the minors. Great city views, on street parking is pretty available and the price is definitely a bargain. Check out the Thruway Classic when Rochester plays here. It's wonderful to visit Buffalo in the summer, not much humidity and simply gorgeous. There is a lot to do and getting around is a breeze.

Highmark Stadium - My AI Bobblehead

Highmark Stadium

Earlier this month, the Buffalo Bills played their final game here, and with that, a chapter on Bills history closed. This stadium wasn't flashy or modern and it really never needed to be. It was cold (very cold), loud, imperfect, and most of all it was full of heart. Just like Buffalo. For decades, The Ralph was home to heartbreak and hope, rebuilding years and breakthrough moments. It's where generations of fans learned what loyalty truly means. Win or lose, Bills Mafia always showed up. In snowstorms, sideways rain, freezing winds, and gray November skies, the stands were full, the energy never wavered, and we were both thankful and proud to be there. Tailgates felt like family reunions. Strangers became friends within minutes. We didn't just watch football here, we felt it. The roar of the crowd, the signs, the chants, and the unwavering BILLief that this could be THEE year are moments stitched into the memories of every Bills fan. So as the Bills move across the street into their new home, I'll always be grateful for The Ralph. The memories will live on long after the final whistle blew. Highmark Stadium may be closing its doors but The Ralph will always be in my mind and in my heart. Thank you for the memories, thank you for the magic. Go Bills!

My friends that are Sabres fans are die hard. Keep hope alive! The team has twice advanced to the Stanley Cup Finals, losing to the Philadelphia Flyers in 1975 and to the Dallas Stars in 1999. The Sabres, along with the Canucks, are the oldest active NHL franchises to have never won the Stanley Cup. Support your teams!! I have a Yelp friend on a mission from God posting U.S. Post Offices. I have been a fan since the teams inception, have watched them through the 70's, 80's, 90's, etc…read more This team in 2020 and 2021, is by far, the worst EVER. They are over matched in 90% of the games they play. They lack real talent, have zero star quality players, and no amount of coaching can help them win. They have reached their ceiling, and it's just not good enough. They are slow to the puck, rarely have an edge in zone play, and almost never win puck battles. The defense is porous and weak, and giveaways are constant. The goalie situation is putrid. No toughness, no tenacity, no heart is what this team is known for and the opposition takes advantage and manhandles them every night. I would be surprised if they could beat an AHL team, including their own. This team is the softest in the league.........the Sabres are UNWATCHABLE!!!
