    BBQ wings.
    Mark K.

Ostrander is a nice small town, a little hilly (for Ohio,) quiet. I thought about moving here years ago. If I had, I would have come here often. Small towns might only have one or two restaurants, and you hope they're good but you never know- and they don't have to be good, if they're the only place around. This place is very good. Nothing fancy, just a small, family-run restaurant and bar. I went mid-afternoon so it was quiet, and I'd bring kids here, but it probably gets louder in the evening (since it's probably also the only bar in town.) There's a pool table. Straightforward menu with pizza, subs, etc. I went with the garlic pizza since it looked good and I love garlic, and some BBQ wings. The pizza was more of an appetizer, personal-pizza size but cut into many strips. Very good crust, a little thick but crisped up, great cheese, great garlic and butter flavors with real garlic. Not greasy. The wings were big and meaty, heavily sauced. Good-not-great. I will definitely try more of their pizza, and subs, etc. Prices are reasonable. I had leftovers. Service was friendly and fast, and personal- you're dealing with the owner. Now I understand the other reviews, and why people were so excited when this family opened a new location.

    yummy!

I do like his pizza. Owner is friendly and I enjoy eating at the bar. He may want to look at the decor and lighting.

Loved this place when I was in elementary school a decade ago and they're still great. Glad to see them still in business.

This is a great place to get pizza. I live in Delaware and it's a few miles away but definitely worth the trip.

I've also been severely disappointed by small town pizza in the past, so I'd always drive to Delaware or Marysville if I wanted a pizza.

"Nightmare on Pep Street... and I Loved Every Bite"…read more Stopped in after a lab appointment, running on fumes and bad decisions, so I figured pizza was the cure. Loiee G's did not disappoint. I grabbed a Medium "Nightmare on Pep Street" -- garlic butter, red sauce, three types of pepperoni -- basically the holy trinity of flavor. I inhaled it like I was auditioning for a competitive eating show. While still chewing, I ordered an 18-inch Meat Pizza for the tribe back home (because sharing is caring, apparently). This is proper NY-style pizza: thin, crispy, and foldable -- the kind of slice that makes you feel like you should be yelling "Yo!" on a Brooklyn sidewalk. The topping ratio was chef's kiss -- not overloaded like most C-Bus pies that think they're competing in a topping-weight contest. Everyone at home gave the thumbs up, proving I can, in fact, make good life choices when hungry. Bonus points: the pinball collection is serious. My buddy (resident pinball nerd) told me to check out the Godzilla and John Wick machines -- because nothing pairs better with pizza than saving Tokyo or racking up a kill streak in neon lights. Verdict: Loiee G's is legit. Great crust, perfect ratios, and enough pinball nostalgia to make you forget your cholesterol results.

The pizza here is very close to east coast and it easily became our Friday go to after our first visit. This is a sit down place, which seems to be fairly rare here, you can actually buy by the slice and have a beer or wine to go with it. When you go here, plan on eating there as opposed to take home if you can. Take home is never as good as fresh out of the oven and you can play some pinball while waiting. Oh it's Friday now! We'll see them in a couple hours.

I ordered the BLT pizza and my wife ordered the Parm and Garlic Wings. We noticed everyone received complimentary popcorn and we weren't even asked if we would like some. The place was not really busy at all, probably because it felt like it was less than 60 degrees inside and everyone was wearing coats. One person at the bar had gloves on. We asked our server if they could turn up the heat and we were told that this is typical this time of year in here. The bathrooms were dirty, freezing, and the water never even got warm washing my hands. The service was slow and it took what seemed like forever to get our food. When we finally received our food the pizza's lettuce had a little brown texture to it. The pizza was extremely greasy and taste-wise didnt hold a candle to Benny's. My wife's wings were slimey on the inside. We told our server and she told us that happens when customers don't ask for them twice baked. She took the wings back for the second baking. This made a big difference and she said the flavor was a little better prior to them being twice baked. Her soda was fine and she was offered a refill. I had a Coors Light that tasted flat so I switched to water after that. Probably would have had 2-3 beers but not when it tasted flat. Overall we were very disappointed with the experience. Not a clean restaurant, food was not good, service was mediocre, restrooms were cold and dirty, and we froze for the hour and a half we were there. We will not be returning and will just stay at our staple. Bennys!

The staff is super kind and friendly, our pizzas were taking a little longer so they brought us some cookies. The pizza tasted great with a good crispy and soft touch. Loved the crispy crust and the pizza came out fresh and hot (love hot pizza).
