Jett Tours - Original itinerary I paid for and the changed itinerary they gave us after arriving in Seattle.

Just want to give information on a trip I took recently with Jett Tours so you can make your own…read moredetermination on whether you want to travel with them. The picture provided is the original itinerary I paid for and the second itinerary is what was given to us once we arrived in Seattle. The reason I signed up for the trip was because I was going to go to the space needle and pike place market in Seattle, Mt. Rainier National Park, Columbia River Gorge waterfall tour, stop in Cresent City for seafood, visit the Redwood forest, do a wine country tour in Santa Rosa, and spend the day in San Francisco. As shown in the original itinerary. The itinerary we got was not what we paid for. We left the airport and went to the space needle for a 10 minute photo take outside the space needle. We didn't even see Pike Place Market. We went to Denny's for lunch. We left Seattle and drove 35 miles east to Fall City to Snoqualmie Falls. Stopped for approximately 30 minutes. Then drove to Chehalis which took 2 hours and was checked in by 4:00. Absolutely nothing to do or see around there and very limited on places to eat. Day 2 we headed out to Mt. Rainier leaving at 9 am we got there around 11:00. Went to visitors center for lunch. No sit down dining. All grab and go and with outrageous prices for food like $7.00 for an egg salad sandwich so spent $11 on junk food for lunch. Drove back to the hotel which was a 2 hour trip. Back at the hotel by 4 pm. Ate dinner at the only restaurant that was nearby. Day 3 drove from Chehalis to Crater Lake a 6 1/2 hour drive stopping at DQ for lunch on the way. Spent maybe 30-45 minutes there then drove from Crater Lake to Grants Pass for another 2 hours. Ate dinner at a nearby Applebee's. Day 4 we've started our drive from Grants Pass to Santa Rosa a 7 hour trip. Stopped twice in the Redwood forest for 20 minutes each stop. Arrived at the most outer edge of Santa Rosa around 6pm with only McDonald's and Panera Bread to eat at and absolutely nothing else around to see or do. Day 5 we left the hotel at 9 am to drive 1 and 1/2 hours to walk across the Golden Gate Bridge each way and then return to the hotel only to get there to not be able to park the bus due to rally going on. So we were able to spend 2 hours at Fisherman's Wharf which lunch took up an hour of that. Back on the bus at 2 pm and and later back at the hotel in Santa Rosa at 4 pm. Then we got to get up at 2am to make the hour and half ride BACK to the San Francisco airport to fly out at 6 am.

I strongly urge anyone considering this company to think twice. My parents had a dream vacation…read moreand they tried to take it with Toby tours. It was a trip from hell without food, restroom breaks or time to see the promised attractions. The entire trip was false advertising. Even after I contacted Karen Toby mid trip and she promised it would be fixed, it did not get better. Karen told me that the situations I described were not up to the Toby standard and she would fix it. Not only did Toby tours not fix it but they are now denying that all the problems happened. Guests were told not to use the bus bathrooms, diabetics were fed donuts for breakfast. Promised attractions were closing as they arrived. Toby Tours should do the right thing, take responsibility and refund the money. Karen Toby, you know these guests did not get the tour you advertised and promised. My parents have filed a complaint with the BBB. Blocking me on Facebook won't keep me from sharing their experiences on other social media.

The issue arises when Toby Tours decides to charge my cousin as a single person traveling now. (A up charge).... They kept my mothers money so her trip is still paid for even though she is not going and still up charged my cousin. There is a group of four ladies going on this trip that will likely never use Toby Tours again. I don't understand the loss of clients over a 300 dollar up charge when you kept all of my mothers money that was paid for trip. There is no need for the up charge as you kept the 800 paid by my mother, as if she is still traveling....Beware of this policy!!!!!!!!!!!

The Bourbon tours were great, my favorite was a small operation called Three Boys Farm, where we were given shots right out of the barrel. Amazing! Tour was set up the exact way we asked.

CopperTop Tours helped my friends and me have a really great and memorable weekend together…read more My wife started the ball rolling by asking some of my friends for ideas for my birthday; one thing led to another, and I ended up meeting a few friends this weekend in Bardstown, with the tours and tastings being the center of the weekend (although Bardstown has plenty of great little attractions to contribute to the overall experience). For future readers, you'll recall that the spring of 2021 was a crazy time, coming off all the COVID lockdowns. Many distillers, who hadn't been open for tours for many months, were finally opening their doors, and demand for tours and tastings far exceeded availability. Tommy apparently has a few connections, and was able to get us the Connoisseur's Tasting at Heaven Hill, and the full tour and tasting at Maker's Mark. The experience was great: The van was large and comfortable, and Tommy--locally raised--knows the area, it's history, and plenty about the distilleries. In addition to the planned stops, he also made an unscheduled stop at the tiny Limestone Branch Distillery so we could taste some craft cocktails and buy some souvenirs. Bottom line: If you love bourbon, and you're looking for a relaxing, enjoyable, and memorable afternoon in the heart of bourbon country, you will not go wrong with Tommy and CopperTop Tours.
